On the third day after Shi Jianwen and the others had left, the matter was finally exposed when one of the won noticed their disappearance and imdiately reported it to the woman responsible in the village.

This woman didn’t report it imdiately, as she had witnessed Qing Yan’s ruthlessness, fearing that Qing Yan’s people would bla her for inefficiency, not wanting to take responsibility. She thought it would be best if people could be quietly found without fuss.

The woman didn’t understand what the Shi Family mbers were up to by leaving the village when they needed weekly dicine to alleviate the pain of the rotten water, or perhaps those three would return within a week?

The organization sends people twice a week to patrol, so it’s impossible that it wouldn’t be noticed.

The woman’s surna was Su, with Mrs. Zhou and Ms. Feng as her right-hand won. The three of them led a group of won vigorously towards Shi Zhongli’s house, giving off an aura of righteous anger.

The Shi Family mbers imdiately ca out to check upon hearing the commotion and quickly walked towards the direction they were headed.

The reason these won dared not be ssed with was because Qing Yan’s people would distribute the dication to alleviate the rotten water’s effects to them. These won would give it on ti when happy, or delay a day or two when not.

Those who had experienced the excruciating pain of rotten water knew how terrifying it was and absolutely did not want a second encounter, hence they dared not provoke these won, often frustrated but not daring to express it.

Su arrived at the Third Elder’s door, and the Third Elder had leisurely walked out, with Shi Jiantong standing beside him.

Seeing the situation, Shi Jiantong knew today wouldn’t be easily resolved, but the other side hadn’t evidently reported the matter to higher-ups, giving them a sliver of opportunity.

Shi Jiantong sighed; if things didn’t go well today, they might have to tie up all these won. Their numbers and strength didn’t favor them, and even the dication to alleviate the rotten water would be ineffective.

However, the Shi Family had never thought of proactively controlling them because they had to send signals daily through special ans to report village conditions. If everything is fine, there’s no problem, but missing a day or sending a strange signal, Qing Yan would imdiately send people.

The consequences ranged from regaining control lightly to exterminating the entire village’s blood bank heavily. They preferred to spend resources to capture rather than reveal secrets.

The Shi Family had observed the signal-sending thod for over a month but couldn’t discern anything, hence didn’t dare easily control these won, but today’s matter might cause a change.

"Have those three return, and we’ll all be fine. Everyone gets along; once tonight is over, I’ll risk it all and report up top, but delaying isn’t an option for anyone!" Su stated, standing at the door, a shrewish deanor, speaking bluntly and determinedly.

Shi Zhongli in the courtyard sighed, saying: "My three kids are quite wild. How about we send soone searching for them? Maybe they got lost in the mountains."

Su wouldn’t listen to such fabrications, one hand on her waist, the other finger pointing at Shi Zhongli, cursing: "If the old bugger keeps babbling, I’ll find soone to slap you. At your age, getting slapped in front of youngsters, how would you live, huh? Speak, where did they go!"

Shi Zhongli deeply inhaled; he didn’t want to bicker with this village shrew but honestly felt like smacking her with his cane!

The Shi Family saw this wild woman insulting the Third Elder, their faces grim, fists clenched, eyes on Shi Jiantong, waiting for his command to apprehend these damned wild won.

So had patience, while others didn’t, with a foot stepping forward only to be pulled back by nearby people.

Su asked no questions, but leading the won in the village, she was perceptive enough, observing how these Shi Family mbers usually behaved ekly. A bad suspicion ford in her heart but seed improbable.

Su sneered, "Oh, daring to resist, huh? Rember those stepping out earlier, especially those few young ones over there. Next dicine distribution, delay by two days!"

Su spoke authoritatively, sneaking a glance at the third generation Shi Family mbers she pointed out, seeing disdain and mockery flashing across their faces, knowing things were going south.

Her thoughts raced, maintaining a proud deanor while pointing at the Shi Family mbers, saying: "Don’t think I can’t find them if you don’t speak! Just wait and see, when found, you’ll pay! This ti’s dicine won’t be easy to attain! You few, stay here and keep an eye on them!"

Finished speaking, Su led Mrs. Zhou and Ms. Feng back, accelerating her pace, needing to report quickly.

After several steps, Su halted, followed by the won behind her, seeing a youth standing coldly in the middle of the road.

"All gathered here, convenient indeed." Xing Jun looked at the won, his expression extrely cold.

His words made Su’s face change.

Shi Jiantong seeing Xing Jun, his eyes subtly shifting, knowing Xing Jun was the informant last ti, but rarely having direct dealings with the youth, who acted aloof in encounters, a difficult child to interact with.

Su’s face was sinister, "Brat, what are you saying!"

Xing Jun calmly replied: "Are you deaf? Although Sister Bei said you’re coerced, there’s really no way to feel even a hint of sympathy for you."

Shi Jiantong stepped forward, asking, "The Sister Bei you referred to, is she Beisitian?!"

Xing Jun glanced at him, nodding, "Qingyu’s people and Hawkeye’s people are arriving soon; these won should be captured."

He uttered Qingyu and Hawkeye terms, convincing Shi Jiantong substantially, having already planned to do so; those wild won had seen through them.

"Capture them all!" Shi Jiantong commanded, leaving no hesitation, nearly twenty n sward, against ten won easily subdued.

Amidst successive screams and curses, Shi Family mbers retaliated harshly, beating the won black and blue, sparing their lives.

Soon all the won were controlled, left to bask in the midday sun on the road.

Shi Jianbin’s eyes had recovered, having stayed low to avoid detection; now opening them, his clear gaze surprised many Shi Family mbers, though mostly delighted.

Just as Shi Jiantong was about to approach Xing Jun for inquiries, rumbling sounds suddenly erged from outside, indicating sothing was approaching.
