Now reading: Vol 6. Chapter 29: Lu Yibei, use charm on her! from I Became a Witch in a World Full of Urban Legends, a Gender bender novel by Chi Tu De Shu Yu.

In the land of Jin Nan, where the Da Chunyang Palace is located, there is a place called Zhenwu Mountain, also known as North Wudang. The mountain has seventy-two peaks, thirty-six cliffs, and twenty-four streams. The rocky peaks stretch for a thousand li, appearing strange and vast, difficult to asure. On the mountain are nine palaces and twelve halls, with red walls and green tiles, exuding a magnificent aura. For thousands of years, countless legends have been passed down.

Early this morning, right after the morning lesson, in front of Wenchang Palace, a woman's face was gloomy. The departing disciples seed to sense the terrifying low pressure emanating from her and unconsciously quickened their steps as they passed by her.

She wore green robes and a lotus crown, with a cinnabar mark between her brows. Her temperant was ethereal, her face pale, and her figure like that of a young girl, yet there were a few fine lines around her eyes left by the passage of ti.

The woman's na was He Zhuyan, and she was the 'Du Jiang' among the Da Chunyang Palace's "Three Dus, Five Masters, and Eighteen Heads". She was responsible for supervising the disciples' morning and evening lessons every day.

If the Da Chunyang Palace were compared to a school, then she would be the dean of students, responsible for leading everyone in morning exercises and supervising evening self-study.

Today's morning lesson was as usual, the only thing that displeased He Zhuyan was soone's unexcused absence.

Standing in front of Wenchang Palace, seeing a disciple pass by, He Zhuyan frowned and stopped him, asking, "Zhuyu, let ask you, was Hua Sang not here this morning?"

"Uh..." The male disciple called Zhuyu frowned, nodded blankly, cupped his hands, and replied, "Uh, yes, Senior Sister Hua Sang, after breakfast, she..."

"She went to the back mountain?" He Zhuyan said.

Zhuyu nodded.

"Hmph! Good-for-nothing!" He Zhuyan snorted coldly, looked towards the back mountain, and gritted her teeth, cursing, "Misfortune for the sect! How did we take in such a rebellious disciple?"

"All she does is fish for soft-shelled turtles all day, not doing a single proper thing! If she had half the effort of her Junior Sister Fu, I'd thank heaven and earth."

Hua Sang, as one of the disciples who entered the Da Chunyang Palace in the sa batch as Fu Xinyi, whose aptitude was second only to Fu Xinyi and a few others, was once given high hopes.

However, over the past decade or so, Hua Sang's behavior has been in stark contrast to that of her Junior Sister Fu Xinyi. Every ti this is thought of, it causes heartache.

Although the Da Chunyang Palace has never discriminated against or given up on any disciple with poor aptitude, you still have to work hard and study!

...

While the morning lesson at Wenchang Palace had just ended and was bustling, it was very quiet in front of a pond by a steep cliff in the back mountain.

A girl with a pleasant appearance was chewing on a blade of grass, lying on a protruding boulder basking in the sun, with a glass cup containing licorice and wolfberry by her side.

Unlike the proper He Zhuyan, her long dark hair was disheveled, her faded green Daoist robe was tied with a hemp rope, the collar was slightly open, faintly revealing the rise and fall of snow-white skin. Her long, fair legs extended from beneath the robe, crossed, and a Hello Kitty plush slipper hung precariously on her small, lotus-like foot, swaying back and forth.

By the edge of the deep pond in front of her, a black iron ruler was stuck in the ground, wrapped with cotton thread to resemble a fishing rod. The long line was subrged in the pond, seemingly fishing.

"Buzz—!"

Suddenly, the cotton line went taut, emitting a faint, almost imperceptible sound. The ruler, which seed to be cast from pig iron, was pulled into a bow shape by whatever was being caught.

Gazing at the ripples on the water's surface from the cotton line, the girl sighed silently, seemingly troubled, "Oh dear, oh dear, Junior Sister is going to have terrible luck today, but..."

"She's with the descendant of that Senior, she should be able to survive, right? Junior Sister, you've helped Sister block another troubleso matter. If you can co back alive, I will definitely repay you well."

As she spoke, she suddenly executed a beautiful carp jump!

...She couldn't get up and fell back onto the boulder like a salted fish.

"Ow~!"

Her back aching, the girl grimaced, rubbing her back while scrambling to the edge of the pond with her hands and feet. Just as she grabbed the fishing rod, she heard He Zhuyan's sharp shout from behind her.

"Hua Sang! Why were you absent from morning lesson today?"

"Huh? Oh, it's Du Jiang Senior Uncle..." The girl glanced at the person who arrived and muttered lazily, without any intention of running away or explaining, just sitting lazily in place.

Hua Sang gave up thinking.jpg

It wasn't until He Zhuyan walked up to her that she slowly turned around, lay on the ground, and stuck her butt out towards He Zhuyan.

"Unexcused absence from morning lesson, according to the rules, should receive thirty ruler strikes. The ruler is over there, Senior Uncle, please proceed..."

He Zhuyan looked at Hua Sang's attitude of being a "dead pig unafraid of boiling water," and her mouth twitched. She grabbed the ruler by the pond and was about to pull it out, but it felt like an illusion, as she felt a trendous force pulling, unable to move it even slightly.

That trendous force lasted only for a mont, then the cotton line snapped with a "snap," and He Zhuyan pulled out the ruler with a "whoosh."

Soon, the back mountain of the Da Chunyang Palace echoed with a perfunctory scream.

"Ah... ah... ow..."

"You brat, I haven't even hit you yet! Why are you screaming?"

Hua Sang grinned awkwardly, "Uh, Senior Uncle, how about we start over?"

He Zhuyan, "..."

Tangcheng University, School of Literature old building conference room.

Professor Hou ultimately couldn't answer Lu Yibei's question. After Ju ng gave the answer in her childish voice, his chest heaved a few tis, his eyes rolled back, and he was about to collapse onto the ground.

Professor Ma gave him five or six quick-acting heart pills from his person, and he barely recovered, then he was sent to the hospital by several students.

No one else could die in the research project team; if more people died, it would be seen as if the project team had a curse of "one death per day."

"Opposing factions can all be called rats or children. Given Xiahou Dun's image in folk tales, wasn't I right to say Zhou Yu called Xiahou Dun the one-eyed child? Why did he faint? Could it be that he wants to fra ?"

"Tsk! It's just that this place is too far from Jiang Dong, otherwise I could catch a couple of urban legend to ask. I estimate there should be urban legend who have heard it firsthand."

Looking at Ju ng on her shoulder, who looked innocent and wronged, muttering softly, Lu Yibei rubbed her ✧ NоvеIight ✧ (Original source) head, "I think what you said was very good."

I originally wanted to tell him that Zhou Yu told Xiahou Dun, "Don't ♦ touch my line!" If I had actually said it, I might have sent him straight away. Lu Yibei thought secretly.

"Right? This old lady is smart!" Ju ng winked at Lu Yibei, looking like a child who got a perfect score and was showing off to their parents.

I don't know what's so proud about this... Lu Yibei muttered inwardly, picked up her phone, and sent a ssage to Mao Sanyou, telling him the news that Professor Hou had almost died suddenly. Then she put away her phone and looked at Fu Xinyi, who was in the conference room, properly following everyone in appraising the artifacts.

This suspected mole of hers was a not-so-small problem regarding Ju ng devouring the urban legend sealed within the artifacts.

Ju ng lay on Lu Yibei's shoulder, looking at her profile, and seed to sense the seriousness that appeared in her eyes. She tilted her head and asked, "What's wrong? Is there still trouble?"

Lu Yibei nodded slightly, casually glanced at Fu Xinyi not far away, and raised her eyebrows, "See that Miss over there?"

Ju ng followed Lu Yibei's gaze, sized up Fu Xinyi, and said seriously, "Hmm, she looks good, well-built and shapely, with a large butt good for bearing children, and she's a Psychic. She seems to have so kind of Spiritual Energy item on her that hides Spiritual Energy fluctuations; I can't tell the level."

Is your priority for observing people a bit off? Lu Yibei complained inwardly, lowered her voice, and explained to Ju ng, "She attacked before. I suspect she's with the group who ambushed the Night Watch coming from various places to support Tang City, which ans..."

Hearing this, a hint of coldness flashed in Ju ng's eyes, "Which ans, she might also be with the group of bastards who assassinated ?"

"If I eat those pickles in front of her, will there be a risk of exposing my identity and whereabouts?"

Although Ju ng did have a way to devour the urban legend sealed inside without anyone noticing, that was only for ordinary people.

Things that are invisible to the naked eye do not an they cannot be perceived by spiritual sense.

Even a Psychic or urban legend with so level of skill could detect the faint Spiritual Energy fluctuations that dissipate during the devouring process at such close range.

Lu Yibei nodded, that's what she was worried about.

"That's easy, why don't you just lure her away?" Ju ng shrugged, unconcerned, "You act as the MT to pull the aggro, I'll provide damage from the shadows, division of labor, isn't that very reasonable?"

"You say that so easily!" Lu Yibei growled, "She's a person, not an NPC in a ga whose aggro can be maxed out by shouting 'You little brat'! How am I supposed to lure her away?"

"You can do it." Ju ng patted Lu Yibei's shoulder, and said solemnly, "But it requires a little bit of sacrifice."

"Sacrifice? You ♦ want to harm again, don't you?" Lu Yibei said warily.

"How could Sister possibly harm you? I'm just asking you to make reasonable use of your abilities." Ju ng said, a aningful smile appearing on her face.

"Didn't your Spirit Mark just undergo an anomaly and gain a new ability? Don't you want to try it out?"

Lu Yibei looked at Ju ng's shifty expression and suddenly had a bad premonition. She narrowed her eyes slightly and tentatively asked, "You an...?"

Ju ng nodded, confirming Lu Yibei's unspoken guess, "That's right, I want you to Charm her!"

Ju ng had personally experienced Lu Yibei's Charm ability. Although her Charm ability was still relatively weak now, its quality seed very high, far superior to the common seductive sluts on the market.

Even she, a dignified deity, would feel her mind waver if she stared at Lu Yibei for too long.

A plain and unremarkable Psychic Little Girl, wouldn't she be so overwheld she couldn't keep her legs together?

Lu Yibei rubbed her slightly throbbing forehead and said irritably, "You want , a pure and innocent young boy, to use such a despicable thod of selling myself? Don't you have a conscience?"

"No, not at all." Ju ng pouted indifferently, "So, go on! Lu Yibei, use Charm on her!"

Lu Yibei, "..."
