Chapter 214: Campus Belles and Goddesses

After sharing a round of beers, the four of them—Wang Haoran and his three dormmates—quickly grew familiar with each other, their conversations becoming more relaxed and unfiltered.

Liu Hua scrolled through the university forum, his face lighting up with excitent. “Guys, this year’s freshman girls are sothing else. You won’t believe it—three of them have already been voted as campus belles!”

Lu Ming and Wei Zhihang instantly crowded over to take a look.

The forum was buzzing. So nosy students had put together a ranking thread, snapping candid photos of beautiful freshn and posting them online. Students across the school voted, and any girl with an average rating above 92 was officially crowned a campus belle.

But this year? The bar had been shattered.

Three freshn girls scored an average above 95—an unprecedented feat.

“This one… Qin Yunhan. Damn, she’s gorgeous,” Liu Hua said with a lovestruck sigh. Without hesitation, he voted for her and gave a full 100 points.

“I’m more into this Xu Muyan,” Lu Ming argued, eyes glued to her photo.

“No, no, this Mu Zhaozhao—my god, just look at her figure,” Wei Zhihang muttered, his jaw slack and a bit of drool already forming.

Each had his own favorite, casting votes with enthusiasm. Then they turned to Wang Haoran with expectant grins.

“Boss, which one’s your type? Pick one and go chase her already!”

Wang Haoran wasn’t surprised at all. Qin Yunhan, Xu Muyan, Mu Zhaozhao—these were the classic campus belle heroine templates. Of course they’d stir things up. He took a casual sip of his beer and replied coolly, “Why pick? I’ll take all three.”

The three stared at him in shock for a second, then burst into laughter, throwing up their thumbs. “Boss, you’re a legend!”

Then Liu Hua leaned in conspiratorially. “Hey, boss, all this chasing campus belles is easy for soone like you. Why not step it up? Go for a real challenge.”

Wang Haoran raised an eyebrow. “What kind of challenge?”

Liu Hua grinned. “I’ve done my howork. Our school has three goddess-tier professors. Real stunners. Imagine scoring one of them—now that would be legendary.”

Wang Haoran’s interest was piqued. He sat up straighter. “You know their details? Spill it.”

“First, we’ve got Professor Liu Yue from the Finance Departnt,” Liu Hua began, practically foaming with excitent. “She’s only 22, already a self-made billionaire, and she’s insanely beautiful—way beyond any freshman belle I’ve seen.”

“Did you get a picture?” Lu Ming jumped in.

“Yeah, yeah, where’s the pic?” Wei Zhihang urged.

“I was too busy staring,” Liu Hua admitted, sheepish. “Forgot to snap a shot. But we’re all in Finance, right? We’ll probably see her in class soon.”

Wang Haoran silently committed the na to mory—Liu Yue. From the setup, she was almost certainly one of the elite-tier female leads, maybe even one of the “Sisters.” He just wasn’t sure which number she ranked.

“What about the other two?” he asked.

Liu Hua continued, “One’s a world-famous pianist, just joined our Music Departnt recently. Won so huge international award. Na’s Qiu Qianwei—you’ve heard of her, right?”

“Of course! I saw her on the news not long ago,” Lu Ming said, visibly excited. “She’s like a fairy co to life.”

Wei Zhihang added, “Yeah, and didn’t they say she got dumped by so scumbag? Man, I envy that guy.”

The three roommates sighed dramatically, then turned to Wang Haoran. “You know her, boss?”

Wang Haoran nodded slowly, smirking inwardly. Know her? I’ve slept with her.

Of course, he kept that thought to himself.

Qiu Qianwei showing up at Qingling University didn’t surprise him. She had ntioned wanting to spend more ti with him. He hadn’t taken it seriously then—but apparently, she ant it literally. Becoming a professor just to stay close? That was… bold.

“And the third?” he prompted.

“She’s from the Marine Biology Departnt,” Liu Hua said. “Known as the youngest genius scientist in the world.”

“Ji Shuiyao?” Wang Haoran asked before he could stop himself.

Liu Hua blinked in surprise. “You already know?”

Wang Haoran chuckled, genuinely amused. Ever since their trip, Ji Shuiyao had been avoiding him—no calls, no etings. But apparently, she couldn’t stay away for long.

Running off to beco a professor at his university? That wasn’t a coincidence.

Three campus belles. Three goddess professors. That made six known female leads. Add in Bu Feiyan and Qiu Qianwei—eight confird.

Among the protagnist, Lin Chen was the most visible right now, but Wang Haoran was sure others were lurking.

So many protagonists. So many female leads.

University life was about to get interesting.

At Qingling University, military training wasn’t conducted at the start like in other schools. Instead, it happened in the first sester of sophomore year.

For now, the freshn were divided into classes, and Wang Haoran was assigned to one in the Finance Departnt.

The mont he stepped in, he recognized familiar faces.

Mu Zhaozhao. Wen Jing.

Both had picked Finance when filling out their applications, and by so twist of fate, had landed in the sa class as him.

And there was one more familiar face—Lin Chen, the so-called “Child Prodigy” protagonist.

The class advisor held a eting to let everyone introduce themselves.

When it was Lin Chen’s turn, the eight-year-old stepped up to the front, earning gasps from every direction.

The little guy puffed up his chest, clearly relishing the attention. Wang Haoran could tell he’d just gained a truckload of protagonist points.

Then it was his own turn.

Wang Haoran walked up casually, his looks dazzling, his presence magnetic. The room was filled with stifled gasps and dreamy sighs from female students. The applause was thunderous.

In terms of sheer aura, he was neck and neck with Lin Chen. The difference?

Lin Chen got system rewards.

Wang Haoran? He got secret glances and heart-throbbing admiration from nearly every girl in the room.

Once introductions ended, the class voted on student officers.

With overwhelming popularity, Wang Haoran was elected class president without contest.
