Now reading: Chapter 312: Turning Her from I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain, a Comedy novel by Three Times Three Equal Nine.

A flood of system rewards washed over Wang Haoran, leaving him montarily dazed. Then, as clarity returned, a peculiar smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth.

Though separated by so distance from Yan Yuntian, he had activated his X-ray Vision and his lip-reading skill. Every word exchanged on the other end—especially the whispered conversation between the so-called maid and her Young Master—was fully within his grasp.

And that whisper… it was damning.

The general aning? Qin Yunhan was no longer pure.

When Yan Yuntian heard this, his handso features contorted with rage and disbelief. Clearly, he had deep desires for Qin Yunhan—so deep they bordered on obsession.

Watching that twisted expression from afar, Wang Haoran couldn’t help but feel a wicked sense of satisfaction rising in his chest.

anwhile, Qin Yunhan, unaware of the exact content of the whisper, saw the darkness clouding Yan Yuntian’s face. The sudden viciousness in his eyes caused her to instinctively step back, her heart fluttering with unease.

But the storm passed as quickly as it ca. Yan Yuntian quickly composed himself, smoothing his expression back to calm indifference.

“If you’re busy, then I won’t force the matter,” he said, voice cold but composed.

“All right then… Should I find soone else to show you around?” Qin Yunhan offered politely, though her tone lacked any real warmth.

“No need,” he replied curtly. His gaze had cooled, no longer holding even a trace of the affection from earlier.

That obsession of his—once burning—had dimd the mont he learned she was no longer untouched. In Yan Yuntian’s mind, anything that had been possessed by another lost its worth entirely. It beca sothing discarded, unclean. Beneath him.

Seeing his shift in deanor, Qin Yunhan found him increasingly off-putting. She gave a perfunctory nod. “Goodbye.”

Without another glance, she turned and walked off, leaving his line of sight completely. She needed to find another place to wait for Wang Haoran anyway.

As soon as she disappeared, Yan Yuntian turned on Yuning with an icy stare. “That’s how you handle things?”

“I… I don’t know how this happened either,” Yuning stamred, voice trembling. “Maybe she only found a boyfriend recently. It must’ve been sothing recent.”

Yan Yuntian’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “Look into it. I want to know who it is.”

He might’ve lost interest in Qin Yunhan, but the humiliation? That he couldn’t swallow. Whoever had gotten to her first—he would never let him off.

From afar, Wang Haoran caught every word through his perception skill. His fingers itched to end Yan Yuntian right there and then.

But that damn Fatal Damage Rebound Halo…

Eighty percent was just too high. With odds like that, charging in would be suicide.

“Understood, Young Master.” Yuning bowed and turned, quietly heading in the direction Qin Yunhan had gone.

Yan Yuntian stood still for a mont, eyes dark. Then suddenly, he lifted a palm and struck the stone pillar beside him.

His silhouette blurred and vanished in a blink, reappearing dozens of paces away. Within seconds, he disappeared completely into the distance.

Crack. Crack…

The pillar he just struck now bore countless hairline fractures, spiderwebbing outward in all directions.

Boom!

With a roar, the entire pavilion collapsed into rubble, a plu of dust billowing up into the air.

Hiding behind a nearby tree, Luo Qingqian witnessed it all. Her eyes widened in shock. “That Yan Yuntian… he’s even stronger than Jiang Gaoxuan.”

If he was stronger than Jiang Gaoxuan, then he was undoubtedly stronger than her as well.

A sudden anxiety welled in her chest.

She still hadn’t figured out what Jiang Gaoxuan was plotting in secret after his disappearance that day. And now, this Yan Yuntian had appeared—more dangerous and unpredictable than anyone yet.

Hopefully, they wouldn’t end up on opposing sides. If they did… things would get ugly fast.

Shaking the thought from her mind, she turned to Wang Haoran. “Let’s go find a quieter place where we won’t be disturbed. I want to talk, properly.”

“I just rembered I have an assignnt due—I should get to it,” Wang Haoran replied casually. While he did want to talk, sothing more urgent had co up.

“Is howork really more important than ?” Luo Qingqian pouted, clearly dissatisfied.

He comforted her gently. “If love truly lasts, why obsess over constant closeness? We’ll have plenty of ti together. Right now, I need you to talk to Weiwei. Clear the air. Until then, I won’t feel at ease.”

“Fine. I’ll go find her now.” Luo Qingqian sighed but nodded in agreent, then left quickly.

Wang Haoran exhaled in relief and began heading in the direction Qin Yunhan had gone.

She was now on a tree-lined path nearby, red maple leaves starting to blush with the arrival of autumn. The scenery was serene, picturesque.

Sitting on a bench by the path, she fiddled with her phone, trying to reach him.

Not far away, Yu Ning—the maid—was watching her every move. But hidden from both their eyes, Wang Haoran was already observing the observer, using long-distance perception.

He turned his phone back on and ssaged Qin Yunhan, asking her to et him for seafood at the restaurant just outside campus.

The mont she received the text, she got up and began walking out of the school.

Yu Ning silently trailed behind her.

Wang Haoran was already waiting on the only path leading off campus. As Yu Ning turned a corner, he deliberately walked into her path, their shoulders brushing in a staged “coincidence.”

“Watch where you’re—” she started, clearly annoyed. But the mont she saw his face, her words froze.

That face. That aura.

Her heart began to pound violently.

“My apologies,” Wang Haoran said, voice gentle as his eyes locked onto hers. Simultaneously, he issued a silent command to the system.

【Ding. Host has successfully used Charm Halo on supporting character Yu Ning. Favorability set to maximum.】

A system prompt blinked in his vision, and he smiled inwardly.

Operation: Turn the Maid—complete.

Yu Ning, still reeling from the encounter, stared at him with dreamy eyes full of awe and yearning.

Only after a long silence did she realize her rudeness. “I’m sorry, it was my fault. I should’ve been more careful…”

“No harm done,” Wang Haoran smiled. “Your na is Yu Ning, isn’t it?”

“You—how do you know that?!” she gasped.

“I’ve seen you before. You just didn’t notice . And I know Yan Yuntian too.”

“You… you’re not from the hidden martial world, are you?” she asked, suspicious. She couldn’t sense any True Qi from him.

Sensing her confusion, Wang Haoran gently took her hand.

The mont they made contact, Yu Ning’s entire body stiffened.

A terrifying tide of True Qi surged through her senses—so imnse, so boundless, it made Yan Yuntian’s seem like a drop in the ocean.

“Who… who are you?!” Yuning’s voice trembled. She never encountered soone like him. So young, and yet his cultivation… was far beyond anything she’d seen.

“Who I am doesn’t matter. What matters is—I ca for you,” Wang Haoran said, his tone low, magnetic.

Yu Ning’s breath caught. Her thoughts spiraled into chaos, and her heart was no longer hers.

A single conviction took hold: For this man, I would do anything. Even die, without regret.
