Now reading: Chapter 320: Feng Xuansu’s Trouble from I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain, a Comedy novel by Three Times Three Equal Nine.

When Feng Xuansu saw Wang Haoran suddenly clutching his head in pain, she panicked for a mont, but then her expression quickly shifted into one of joy.

Outside the door, Luo Qingqian and the others heard the noise. Worried about Wang Haoran, they imdiately pushed the door open and rushed in.

Qiu Qianwei was the first to reach him. She grabbed his arm, her face pale with fright. “What’s wrong with you?”

Bian Suwen also hurried over, preparing to examine him, but just as she reached him, the pained expression on Wang Haoran’s face gradually faded away, and he returned to normal.

“I’m fine,” Wang Haoran reassured Qiu Qianwei and the others.

The girls breathed a collective sigh of relief.

“Did you rember sothing?” Feng Xuansu looked at him with eyes full of hopeful light.

Wang Haoran shook his head. “There’s a gap in my mory. I keep trying to recall it, but whenever I do, the pain in my head becos unbearable.”

Of course, this was all an act. With the other girls present, he couldn’t openly acknowledge Feng Xuansu, nor could he completely deny her either. That would only complicate things further. So, this little performance was his compromise.

And it worked—Feng Xuansu’s face lit up with joy. She was convinced that her husband, just like her, had lost a part of his mory. She has her mory back, but he has not yet regained his mories, but that was okay. At least now there was hope.

She didn’t want to see him suffering though, so she softened her voice, speaking gently. “You don’t need to force it. Just let it co naturally. When the ti is right, everything will return to you.”

Wang Haoran nodded slightly.

But the girls standing nearby weren’t so easily convinced. Luo Qingqian narrowed her eyes and finally asked the question that was on everyone’s mind. “You knew Haoran before this? The person you were crying out for… was him, wasn’t it?”

Feng Xuansu didn’t want to reveal the truth and risk triggering another episode of Wang Haoran’s “head-splitting pain.” She quickly responded with a calm and serious tone. “Luo Qingqian, I’m a woman of integrity. How could I possibly be married already? Don’t insult my na.”

Even though she was desperate to be reunited with her husband, she still wanted it to happen gently. The mory that returned to her had co with such searing pain—it had nearly torn her mind apart. She couldn’t bear the thought of her husband going through the sa tornt.

“You were the one yelling nonsense. Don’t bla for questioning it,” Luo Qingqian scoffed.

“It must’ve been the pain ssing with my head. I honestly don’t rember what I said,” Feng Xuansu added.

“Since you’re fine now, then please leave,” Luo Qingqian said bluntly. “There are just enough bedrooms for us sisters. We don’t have a spare for you.”

“Thank you for the help just now. I won’t impose,” Feng Xuansu replied with grace. She got up from the bed and prepared to leave, though before stepping out, she took one last lingering glance at Wang Haoran.

By the ti she returned to her hotel room, Qin Yunhan was still sound asleep, completely unaware that Feng Xuansu had even left.

The next morning, Feng Xuansu didn’t ntion anything about taking Qin Yunhan back to Fengxi Sect, despite that being her mission. Her thoughts were elsewhere now. She’d rather stay in Qingling and wait—for the day her husband would finally rember her, and they could truly reunite.

“Yunhan, what’s your relationship with Wang Haoran?” Feng Xuansu couldn’t help but ask not long after they woke up.

Back at the villa, she had clearly heard Qiu Qianwei say that Wang Haoran was her boyfriend. And Qin Yunhan also seed particularly close to him. That damned man… How many won did he have wrapped around his finger? He already had a wife. Wasn’t that enough?

Feng Xuansu silently fud, but thinking of how her husband had lost his mory, she could only bla him a little in her heart.

Qin Yunhan gave her a suspicious glance. “You didn’t go through my phone while I was sleeping, did you?”

“I’m just concerned about you,” Feng Xuansu replied calmly, not denying it.

“We’ve known each other for a long ti,” Qin Yunhan said with a faint smile. “Our parents are friends. We were high school classmates and now we go to the sa university. We’re just really good friends, that’s all.”

Feng Xuansu nodded slowly, but still added with a hint of sharpness, “He has a girlfriend. You know that, right?”

“Yeah, I know,” Qin Yunhan answered casually, though inwardly, she was confused. How did her aunt know about Xu Muyan?

But Feng Xuansu assud she ant Qiu Qianwei and felt sowhat relieved.

“If you already know, then it’s best to keep your distance from him. Don’t cross the line from friendship to sothing more,” she warned gently.

Feng Xuansu harbored a quiet frustration in her heart. Her husband had already forgotten everything, so she couldn’t really bla him—but when she thought about the possibility of him being involved with other won, especially that Qiu Qianwei, she couldn’t help feeling uneasy.

Let alone the idea of soone else stepping in now… especially soone like Qin Yunhan, who—strictly speaking—was her niece. Just imagining such a situation made her heart feel tangled and heavy.

“I know what I’m doing,” Qin Yunhan replied half-heartedly, brushing it off.

“Alright, you go to class. I’ve got soone to et today,” Feng Xuansu said as she stood up.

About thirty minutes later, Feng Xuansu stood outside a grand estate.

“Miss Xuansu, welco,” Yu Ning ca out to greet her and led her inside with great respect.

“Where’s Yuntian?” Feng Xuansu asked.

“He’s locked himself in his room these past few days. He hasn’t stepped out once. I’m not sure what’s going on,” Yuning said, feigning ignorance even though she knew the truth perfectly well.

“Take to him,” Feng Xuansu ordered.

Yu Ning nodded and led the way. Soon, they arrived outside a refined, classical-style bedroom.

“Yuntian, it’s ,” Feng Xuansu knocked gently and called out a few tis.

It took a while before Yan Yuntian finally responded and stepped out.

He looked haggard. His complexion was pale, dark circles under his eyes, and his energy was clearly drained.

Feng Xuansu was stunned. For a martial cultivator, energy and vitality should be strong—yet he looked like a man who hadn’t slept for days.

“What happened to you?” she asked in confusion.

“It’s cultivation troubles. I haven’t slept in days, but it’s nothing serious,” Yan Yuntian replied, forcing a breezy tone.

He wasn’t lying. Ever since he lost his… capabilities, his entire path of cultivation stalled. Having stepped into the Minor Grandmaster realm of Internal Energy, he now required dual cultivation with a woman to progress further. But in his current state, that was impossible.

“Don’t rush it. Take things slowly,” Feng Xuansu tried to comfort him, though as she spoke, her mind drifted to her own worries. She let out a long sigh.

Yan Yuntian noticed the sorrow in her eyes and frowned. “Aunt, you have sothing on your mind too?”

“I’m human, not a saint. Of course I have troubles,” she replied with a weary smile.

“What’s got you so bothered?” he asked, intrigued.

Feng Xuansu hesitated, words catching in her throat.

“You’re not treating like an outsider, are you?” he pressed, then shot a glance at Yuning.

Understanding the hint, Yu Ning said, “I’ll go make so tea,” and quietly slipped away.

Left alone with Yan Yuntian, Feng Xuansu finally spoke. “You probably know that when my sect was destroyed, I lost so of my mories. Last night… I finally rembered sothing.”

“What did you rember?” Yan Yuntian asked.

“I was married. I had a husband. And last night… I saw him again. But he doesn’t rember at all,” Feng Xuansu confessed, her voice filled with longing and grief.

As soon as those words left her mouth, Yan Yuntian was struck as if by lightning. His entire body froze, his face contorting as if he had aged decades in a single instant.
