What had once been a lively dinner suddenly fell into silence. No one spoke.

Feng Xuansu, who had lowered her head shyly, lifted it in confusion—only to see sothing that left her completely dumbfounded.

【Ding! The host has caused a significant blow to the protagonist Yan Yuntian’s ntal state. You have gained 1400 Villain Points! Yan Yuntian’s Protagonist Halo -70, Host’s Villain Halo 70!】

Yan Yuntian’s eyes widened in shock, and his teeth clenched so tightly it seed like he might grind them to dust.

Yan Feipeng, who had just been casually enjoying the drama, suddenly slamd his cup onto the table and rose in a fury, raising his hand to strike Wang Haoran across the face.

Last ti in the hospital might’ve been an accident—but this ti, it was clearly intentional.

Sure, Wang Haoran was drunk, but that wasn’t enough of an excuse for Yan Feipeng. All he could think about was giving the man a good thrashing.

Seeing the situation escalate, Feng Xuansu swiftly hurled a pair of chopsticks toward Yan Feipeng’s face. Infused with true qi, they whistled through the air with surprising force.

Startled, Yan Feipeng jerked his head to the side, narrowly avoiding them. His attempt to strike was cut short.

Before he could try again, Feng Rao’s voice rang out.

“Yan Feipeng. Sit down.” Her voice wasn’t loud, but it held absolute authority.

Yan Feipeng imdiately froze, sitting back down without so much as a twitch. He didn’t even dare to breathe loudly.

To keep things from getting worse, Feng Xuansu quickly pulled Wang Haoran away and glanced nervously at Feng Rao.

“Big sister, he’s drunk and doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’ll apologize on his behalf.”

Feng Rao’s figure-hugging outfit was now creased, bearing faint handprints. But strangely enough, there wasn’t a trace of anger on her face. Her expression remained calm—as if it didn’t matter at all.

“No need,” Feng Rao waved it off. Clearly, she wasn’t bothered.

Yan Feipeng opened his mouth as if to protest, but as soon as Feng Rao’s gaze swept over him, he froze in place, like a frightened sparrow, and dared not utter another word.

Yan Yuntian couldn’t hold back. “Mother, aren’t you being too forgiving? You’re just going to let him off that easily?!”

“I was the one who toasted him first. That’s what got him drunk. It’s my fault, why should I bla him?” Feng Rao replied calmly.

“How do you know he’s actually drunk and not just pretending? What if he’s faking it just to take advantage of you?” Yan Yuntian tried to expose Wang Haoran, hoping his mother would punish him.

But Feng Rao’s eyes sparkled at those words. Honestly, she’d prefer it if he were pretending, because that ant he actually had so thoughts about her.

If he was genuinely drunk… well, she might actually be disappointed. A real drunk might not even rember what he did afterward.

“Yuntian has had enough. Take him back to his room,” Feng Rao instructed the servants, ignoring Yan Yuntian entirely.

A few maids promptly carried Yan Yuntian away on a recliner. As they did, his eyes locked onto Wang Haoran, full of resentnt.

Wang Haoran caught the look, t it, and winked.

【Ding! The host has caused further emotional damage to Yan Yuntian. Villain Points 600! Protagonist Halo -30, Villain Halo 30!】

“This bastard is faking it! He’s pretending!” Yan Yuntian shouted, having seen Wang Haoran’s wink.

But Yan Feipeng, now timid like a child, didn’t dare say a word.

As for Feng Rao? Instead of getting angry, her lips curved into a smile.

Soon, the room returned to peace.

Wang Haoran, no longer entertained, slumped over the table in a drunken daze.

“Yun Xuan, Yu Ning, our guest is drunk. Help him to a clean bedroom so he can rest,” Feng Rao instructed.

“Sister, it’s fine. Let take him ho,” Feng Xuansu said quickly.

“This is your ho, too. Since you’re already here, you should stay for dinner. Besides, he’s drunk. It’d be better for him to rest here,” Feng Rao said gently, taking Feng Xuansu’s hand like a doting older sister.

Feng Xuansu found it hard to refuse and reluctantly agreed.

Yun Xuan and Yu Ning helped Wang Haoran to a guest bedroom.

The fake drunkenness on Wang Haoran’s face slowly faded.

“You weren’t drunk at all, were you?” Yun Xuan asked in surprise.

“Clearly faking it just to get under Yan Yuntian’s skin,” Yu Ning said with a light laugh.

“I kind of wish he was really drunk,” Yun Xuan said mischievously.

Everyone had seen what Wang Haoran did during his drunken episode.

Hearing Yun Xuan’s comnt, Yu Ning caught on quickly and nodded in amusent.

The two girls looked at Wang Haoran, eyes full of anticipation.

Wang Haoran felt a surge of excitent—he wanted to go wild, but then his phone suddenly vibrated.

He glanced down. The caller was Bian Suwen.

“Are you feeling better?” Wang Haoran answered.

“I’m a doctor, rember? You don’t need to worry about ,” her sweet voice ca through, warm and affectionate.

Wang Haoran chuckled and said, “You should go eat, but after dinner, co to Yan Yuntian’s villa. I need you to do sothing. It might make you uncomfortable.”

He recalled how Bian Suwen had helped deceive a patient once before—and how bad she felt afterward.

So this ti, he gave her a heads-up.

“I don’t mind. As long as you’re happy,” Bian Suwen replied imdiately.

“You’re not even going to ask what it is?” Wang Haoran was surprised.

“No need. No matter what you want to do, I’ll do it,” she said softly and sincerely. There was no sign of reluctance.

Her words ward him, and he explained the situation, ending with, “Just co after dinner, alright? I’ll wait for you.”

“I won’t eat. I’m on my way now.” She didn’t even wait for a response before hanging up.

A little while later, Bian Suwen arrived at the villa.

Yu Ning led her in respectfully and brought her to Yan Yuntian’s room.

Yan Feipeng was waiting. Seeing her arrive, he greeted her politely.

Yun Churan also ca under the guise of checking on Yan Yuntian, but in truth, she was hoping Bian Suwen would give her a diagnosis as well.

In another room, Wang Haoran used his X-ray vision to watch the situation unfold. Realizing the real show was about to start, he excused himself to “go to the restroom” and headed toward the commotion.

Feng Xuansu, still worried about him, had finished eating quickly and hadn’t left his side.

Feng Rao stayed with her under the pretense of sisterly affection.

Neither of them wanted Wang Haoran to wander around alone in his drunken state.

On the way, Wang Haoran stopped by Yan Yuntian’s room.

“You’re heading the wrong way. That’s not your room,” Feng Xuansu reminded gently.

“No, no… this is where I was resting earlier,” Wang Haoran insisted, stumbling inside.

Feng Xuansu had no choice but to follow him in.

Bian Suwen was currently using silk threads to check Yan Yuntian’s pulse, monitoring his recovery.

Irritated by the noise, Yan Feipeng and Yan Yuntian both glanced at Wang Haoran in annoyance.

Fortunately, Bian Suwen wasn’t bothered. She soon finished the examination and announced that Yan Yuntian was recovering well. In about twenty days, he’d be fully healed.

Yan Yuntian’s heart surged with joy.

He shot Wang Haoran a sly glance. In twenty days, you’re dead.

Yun Churan, seeing that Bian Suwen was finished, stepped forward.

“Divine Doctor, I’ve been feeling a little unwell. Could you take a look at ?”

“Of course,” Bian Suwen nodded.

Yun Churan didn’t want a public exam, so she was about to ask Bian Suwen to follow her to another room, but suddenly, a wave of nausea hit her.

“Ugh…” she dry-heaved uncontrollably.

Yan Yuntian, having seen it before, wasn’t surprised.

But Yan Feipeng, Feng Rao, and Feng Xuansu all looked over, suspicious.

Yun Churan remained calm on the surface, but there was a flicker of panic in her eyes.

The others relaxed a little. After all, Yun Churan was the daughter of a prestigious sect master—well-educated and still unmarried. No way she could have crossed any lines, right?

Wang Haoran grinned secretly.

Taking advantage of his “drunken” state, he pointed at Yun Churan’s belly and slurred: “Ba-baby… you’re having a baby!”

Everyone’s eyes locked on Yun Churan.

Her mask cracked for a mont. Panic flickered across her face before she forced herself to stay composed.

But it was too late. That flash of guilt had already been seen.

Yan Feipeng, Feng Rao, and Feng Xuansu all turned instinctively to look at Yan Yuntian.

Naturally, they assud this was his doing.

But then they noticed sothing strange—Yan Yuntian’s face… was pitch black.
