Chapter 414: Do I Have to Call Him Dad?

Yun Churan remained silent for a long ti without giving an answer.

Seeing this, Feng Rao frowned slightly. “What’s your choice?”

She wanted to know Yun Churan’s decision in advance so she could plan accordingly. Seeing her still hesitating, she pressed a little.

Yun Churan’s expression was conflicted. She subconsciously touched her lower abdon, as if she could feel a tiny life stirring within. Her heart softened, and she finally replied: “I’ll get married as soon as possible. I won’t let Fengxi Sect lose face because of this.”

But after saying it, a dazed look appeared in her eyes.

She decided to marry quickly, but… marry who? That alone was a huge problem.

Even if she found soone suitable, should she tell them about the pregnancy? Keeping it a secret would be deeply unfair to the man.

Yun Churan’s decision was to be honest before marrying. She didn’t want to harm anyone.

But who was going to take the fall for this?

As she pondered, her gaze shifted unconsciously—then paused slightly when it landed on Wang Haoran.

Wang Haoran was pretending to be drunk, not actually drunk. But with just a fleeting glance, it was impossible to tell what Yun Churan was thinking.

Still, Wang Haoran felt a tinge of regret at her choice.

If Yun Churan had chosen to terminate the “child,” Bian Suwen could’ve naturally prescribed a redy and resolved the matter cleanly.

That way, the trap he’d set for Yun Churan would be wiped away with no ss.

But instead, she chose to find a scapegoat.

The irony was that Yun Churan wasn’t even pregnant—she was completely untouched. She thought she was finding soone to clean up her ss, but in truth, she was handing herself away for nothing.

Wang Haoran wasn’t thrilled with how this was turning out.

Yun Churan, after all, was still a female lead. Letting her go like this felt like a waste.

“Aunt Rao, I’ll take my leave for now,” Yun Churan said, her heart a chaotic storm.

“Let know before you leave Qingling,” Feng Rao replied calmly. In her eyes, if Yun Churan was going to marry, she would likely find soone from the hidden martial world. It was only a matter of ti before she leaves Qingling anyway.

“I will, Aunt Rao.” Yun Churan nodded and left, her feelings a tangled ss.

The show was over, and Wang Haoran was satisfied.

He pretended to be dizzy from the alcohol.

Feng Xuansu and Feng Rao moved in almost at the sa ti, one on each side, supporting him back to the bedroom.

Soon, they laid him down beside the bed.

“Elder Sister, I’ll take care of him. You go do what you need to do.” Feng Xuansu gently tucked the blanket over Wang Haoran and spoke softly to Feng Rao.

“Then take good care of him. I have so matters to handle,” Feng Rao said, not insisting on staying. She turned to leave and closed the bedroom door behind her.

Feng Rao headed straight for Yan Yuntian’s bedroom.

Bian Suwen had already left. Only Yan Feipeng and Yan Yuntian remained inside.

“I have sothing to say to you. Co outside.” Feng Rao’s face darkened slightly as she addressed Yan Feipeng.

“There’s no one else here. Just say it,” Yan Feipeng replied, wanting to stay close to Yan Yuntian given his foul mood.

“Let’s end our marriage.”

Feng Rao had originally wanted to say this privately, but since Yan Feipeng insisted on talking here, she didn’t bother wasting ti and got straight to the point.

Both Yan Feipeng and Yan Yuntian were stunned for a long mont. Then Yan Feipeng’s expression twisted with pain.

“Arao… Did I do sothing wrong? Why are you doing this?”

“Our marriage was based on mutual benefit. I’ve never had romantic feelings for you. I didn’t care before, but now—I’m in love with soone else.”

Feng Rao was never one to beat around the bush. Dominant in nature, she wasn’t so shy little girl. She said what she ant, plain and simple.

“Arao, please… Don’t leave ,” Yan Feipeng pleaded, more desperate than angry.

“I’m being calm right now. I may not be in a mont,” Feng Rao said coldly, her patience running thin.

“Fine. Let’s divorce. I hope you’ll be happy,” Yan Feipeng said after struggling with it for a while.

He knew Feng Rao’s character better than anyone. Once she makes up her mind, no one can change it. The divorce was inevitable.

He also understood that if he agreed, they might still remain ordinary friends in the future. But if he refused, even that would be impossible.

After weighing it all, he chose to let go.

Watching this from the side, Yan Yuntian stared at his father with a look of disappointnt and contempt. In his eyes, Yan Feipeng was utterly spineless—a pathetic simp of the highest order.

Feng Rao took out a prepared divorce contract.

Yan Feipeng reluctantly signed it and pressed his fingerprint.

From that mont on, they were no longer husband and wife.

“Arao, can I ask… Who is it you love? Soone from the hidden martial world?”

“Not so bigshot. Just a wealthy young master from the secular world,” Feng Rao replied, since Yan Feipeng had been cooperative.

“That Wang Haoran?” Yan Feipeng asked in disbelief.

Feng Rao didn’t answer, which was as good as confirmation.

“That brat? What’s so good about him? He’s just an empty-headed punk…” Yan Feipeng couldn’t accept that he lost to soone like Wang Haoran and started ranting.

“He might be useless, but I still like him. If you dare insult him again, don’t bla for being rude.” Feng Rao warned coldly.

Hearing this, Yan Feipeng imdiately shut up, fear rising in his chest. He swallowed all his complaints and quickly changed tone.

“Arao, since you like him, then I wish you two happiness. If you ever get married, be sure to invite to the wedding.”

“You’d better be sincere. If you dare go against Haoran in the future, we’re enemies,” Feng Rao warned once more. Then she turned her gaze to Yan Yuntian.

“And you. I don’t care what grudges you hold against Haoran, but from now on, show so respect when he’s around. Don’t try anything behind the scenes to hurt him. Or don’t bla for doing sothing I’d rather not do.”

“I sincerely wish you happiness. I won’t ss with Wang Haoran,” Yan Feipeng promised imdiately.

Feng Rao nodded with satisfaction and waited for Yan Yuntian to speak.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

“Ahhhh!”

Yan Yuntian snapped. Despite his injuries, he pounded the bedfra with his fists and scread like a madman.

Anyone but Wang Haoran! Even if it were a beggar, he could’ve accepted it.

If Feng Rao really married Wang Haoran one day… would that an he had to call him “Dad”?!

Ding.
