With Liu Yue’s help, Tantai Yaoyue changed into a new outfit and had her makeup delicately done. The costics and clothes she used all ca from their Seventh Sister, Qiu Qianwei’s collection.
When everything was finished, Tantai Yaoyue stood before the full-length mirror and spun slowly in place, her smile growing more satisfied with each turn. The style she had chosen this ti gave her an entirely different aura—gentle and sweet, a soft and charming look that completely shifted the mood she normally carried.
Liu Yue glanced at her carefully and offered a suggestion, “Big Sister, honestly, I still think that cold and elegant look suits you better. This gentle and sweet style—it feels more like sothing for Seventh Sister.”
She actually ntioned this before they started, but Tantai Yaoyue had insisted on trying this particular style.
Seeing that her big sister had made up her mind, Liu Yue did not argue and just helped her dress up the way she wanted.
But now that the final result was in front of her, Liu Yue still couldn’t help but think that Big Sister belonged in the role of the icy, dignified queen.
Tantai Yaoyue smiled at her reflection, clearly pleased, but when she heard Liu Yue’s comnt, her expression cooled a little. “What did you just say?”
Liu Yue imdiately sensed the danger. Her lips twitched, and she quickly corrected herself with a forced grin, “I said, Big Sister, this sweet style looks amazing on you. Honestly, you wear it even better than Seventh Sister does.”
Hearing that, Tantai Yaoyue’s smile returned. She twirled once more in front of the mirror, her gaze roaming over the reflection with growing delight. Her figure and Qiu Qianwei’s were quite similar, but if there was one difference, it was that Tantai Yaoyue’s curves were even more dramatic.
From behind, though, the two of them looked nearly identical.
Especially now, with Tantai Yaoyue wearing Qiu Qianwei’s clothes and having styled her hair exactly the sa way, the resemblance was uncanny.
He should like this, right?
As she admired herself, a quiet thought surfaced in her heart. She didn’t say it aloud, but her eyes were filled with expectation.
Liu Yue watched from the side, a strange feeling creeping up in her chest. She couldn’t shake the sense that sothing felt off. This makeover looked too much like Seventh Sister’s usual style. Still, she didn’t question it too deeply. She just assud Big Sister liked the sa aesthetic and decided to try it out for herself.
Even so, Liu Yue remained firmly convinced that Tantai Yaoyue was born to wear the cold goddess look.
Before long, the sound of movent ca from outside the villa—it was Qiu Qianwei and the others returning with groceries.
Tantai Yaoyue and Liu Yue headed to the main hall and found their sisters walking in, each carrying more bags than the last. It looked less like a grocery run and more like they’d emptied out the entire market.
“Seventh Sister, you really plan to cook all of this yourself?” Tantai Yaoyue raised an eyebrow in disbelief. “You sure you can handle it?”
“Big Sister, don’t worry.” Liu Yue stepped in before Qiu Qianwei could respond. “Sixth Sister and I have been her guinea pigs for quite a while now. I can tell you for sure—Seventh Sister really does have a talent for cooking.”
“I agree,” Ji Shuiyao added with a nod.
Luo Qingqian, Bian Suwen, and Bu Feiyan also gave their approval. They had joined the test als later than Liu Yue and Ji Shuiyao, but they tasted enough to know Qiu Qianwei was steadily improving.
Hearing their unanimous praise, Tantai Yaoyue looked at Qiu Qianwei with admiration and a tinge of envy. Seventh Sister really was amazing—graceful, skilled, and endlessly capable. Whether it was playing piano or cooking dinner, she handled everything with elegance.
She truly was the kind of woman who could shine in both the drawing room and the kitchen.
By comparison, Tantai Yaoyue felt she only had her martial prowess to lean on. Other than being strong in battle, she had no real skills to speak of.
“Big Sister… what’s with this outfit?” Qiu Qianwei looked at her with surprise.
The resemblance between them was striking, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
“I thought your makeup and styling were beautiful, so I wanted to learn from you,” Tantai Yaoyue said lightly. “I used your costics, your clothes, and even your perfu. I hope you don’t mind.”
“Of course not,” Qiu Qianwei replied with a cheerful smile. “We’re sisters. What’s mine is yours. Why are you being so polite?”
Tantai Yaoyue felt a wave of warmth in her chest. When she heard Qiu Qianwei say those words—“what’s mine is yours”—sothing surged quietly in her heart. It wasn’t just happiness. It was sothing deeper, a trace of excitent that she didn’t dare na.
“Big Sister, Seventh Sister, co stand next to each other,” Luo Qingqian suddenly called out, a note of curiosity in her voice.
Neither of them understood the reason, but they followed the request and stood side by side.
Luo Qingqian circled around behind them to inspect, then gestured to the others. “Co look. From behind, Big Sister and Seventh Sister look exactly the sa!”
Bian Suwen, Bu Feiyan, and the rest walked over to her angle. When they saw the view from behind, their reactions were imdiate.
“They really do look the sa,” Bian Suwen said in awe. “If they wore the sa outfit, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell who’s who.”
“Let’s test it then,” Tantai Yaoyue said, clearly intrigued. “See if you can guess who’s who.”
With Big Sister proposing the ga, no one dared refuse. Honestly, it sounded like fun.
Qiu Qianwei didn’t have two identical sets of clothes, but that didn’t matter. Once the others turned around, Tantai Yaoyue and Qiu Qianwei slipped back to their rooms and changed into sothing else. This way, the guessing wouldn’t rely on clothing.
When they returned, they stood side by side with their backs to the others.
“Alright, you can guess now,” Tantai Yaoyue said.
Luo Qingqian turned around first and studied the backs carefully. “I think the one on the left is Big Sister, the right is Seventh Sister.”
“I think it’s the opposite,” Bian Suwen guessed. “Left is Seventh Sister, right is Big Sister.”
“I agree with Third Sister,” Bu Feiyan said.
“I’m with Second Sister,” Liu Yue added.
“I’m with Third,” said Ji Shuiyao.
In total, more people guessed the one on the left was Qiu Qianwei.
Then Tantai Yaoyue and Qiu Qianwei turned around to reveal the answer.
The left was Tantai Yaoyue. The right was Qiu Qianwei.
Luo Qingqian and Liu Yue were the only ones who guessed correctly.
Tantai Yaoyue hadn’t had enough. She pulled Qiu Qianwei aside again, and the two of them changed into another set of clothes before repeating the ga. They stood with their backs turned, and the sisters made new guesses.
They did this several more tis.
Eventually, everyone realized sothing—it was nearly impossible to tell the two apart from behind. Guessing was pure luck.
Tantai Yaoyue felt secretly delighted.
The more she resembled Qiu Qianwei, the happier she beca.
“Seventh Sister,” she said suddenly, “your Room Seven is a little small. Let give you my Room One. It’s the biggest one.”
“I’m the youngest,” Qiu Qianwei said gently. “It makes sense for to have the smallest room. I don’t mind.”
“Precisely because you’re the youngest, you deserve the best,” Tantai Yaoyue said, her tone firm.
The others watched with envy. But there was nothing they could say. Qiu Qianwei was their baby sister—being spoiled was practically her birthright.
“Big Sister, you’re being way too good to ,” Qiu Qianwei said, touched.
“It’s only right,” Tantai Yaoyue replied, reaching out to pinch her cheek affectionately. “But later on, if I ever do sothing that upsets you, you can’t hold it against , okay?”
“You scold sotis and even restrict , but I know it’s always for my own good,” Qiu Qianwei said, misunderstanding the deeper aning entirely.
