"Don’t cry. Please, don’t cry," he said, his voice a little shaky. "I should be the one apologizing. I’m the one who made you misunderstand..."

"No, no!" Roxanna said quickly. "It’s not your fault either! Azul just wanted to make happy!"

The two of them kept trying to take the bla, going back and forth like that, and it didn’t look like either of them would stop anyti soon.

Inside the hut, Cyrus and Luan had been watching the whole thing through the window.

Cyrus rested his hand on the window fra and leaned his chin on it, while Luan stood right behind him.

"Should we step in?" Luan asked. "I’m starting to get a headache just watching them bla themselves like that."

Cyrus let out a soft chuckle and shook his head. "No, let them be," he said softly. "It’s their problem, so they should solve it themselves."

After all, if they interfered too much, Roxanna wouldn’t have the chance to truly bond with each of her husbands.

"Well... I just hope they stop arguing before Calen cos back," Luan said with a sigh. "That dog will definitely jump in and make things more chaotic."

"That’s not a bad thing either," Cyrus replied. "In the end, we’re all family. Everyone just wants to do what’s best for all of us, especially for our wife."

Back outside, Roxanna and Azul ended up covering each other’s mouths at the sa ti; Roxanna’s hand over his mouth, and his over hers.

Even so, their eyes were still locked, both of them clearly refusing to back down.

[Why is he so stubborn?! I’m the one who’s wrong! He should just accept it!]

Azul frowned. She was just as stubborn as he was.

After a mont, he let out a tired sigh and slowly pulled his hand away from her mouth. But before Roxanna could speak again, he quickly said, "No one is wrong!"

Then he raised the hand that was still holding the envelope. "H-How about you read my letter instead?"

Roxanna’s gaze shifted from the envelope to Azul, then back again. She did it a few tis before finally realizing how much effort he must have put into making it.

She couldn’t ignore that. "A-Alright," she said softly. Even though she still felt guilty, she tried her best to push it aside. "I’ll read your letter."

She took the envelope carefully and opened it, revealing a folded piece of brown paper. She handled it gently, afraid of tearing it by accident.

"Aelin said my writing is good enough, but... I think it still looks bad," Azul admitted, his face turning a little red. "B-But even so... I hope you can still read it."

Roxanna let out a small laugh. "Don’t worry. I’m sure I can rea—"

[What the hell is this?!]

Roxanna froze. Her eyes moved slowly across the paper, then stopped. Then moved again, and then stopped again.

"Azul?" she called, her voice a little uncertain.

Azul straightened right away. "Y-Yes?"

Roxanna lifted the paper slightly, still staring at it. "Is this... your handwriting?"

Roxanna fell silent again because the paper in her hands was filled with... sothing.

Yes, Azul was able to write, but his handwriting was uneven. So letters were too big, so too small. So leaned to the side, while others looked like they were about to fall off the page.

And so words... she couldn’t even tell where one word ended and another began.

"Is it... is it really that bad?" Azul asked softly, his voice full of worry. His hands even felt cold as he waited for her answer, afraid she might scold him for being a bad student. "I’m sorry, I should have—"

"This is good!" Roxanna quickly cut him off. She looked up at him with a small smile. "You only learned for one week. Of course it won’t be perfect yet."

"Don’t worry. Don’t worry." Roxanna stood on her tiptoes and gently patted his head. "I’ll try my best to read it!"

A few lines appeared on her forehead as she tried to read what Azul had written. To be honest, she felt like reading his handwriting was even harder than doing a physics test.

[The system will be happy to help, Host!] the system chid in cheerfully. [The system can scan the letter for you for only 100 SP!]

Without thinking too much, Roxanna answered right away. [Yes, please!]

[Ding!]

[Scanning service purchased: 100 SP]

[Total Spirit Points (SP): 317,950]

[Scanning in progress...]

A faint glow appeared over the paper, so soft that only she could see it. The ssy lines slowly shifted in her vision, becoming clearer, easier to read.

[Ding!]

[Scan complete.]

For a mont, Roxanna didn’t move. Then... her eyes slowly traced the words again. Fortunately, this ti, she could read them. Her fingers tightened slightly around the letter as she read those words.

[To my beloved wife, Roxanna.]

[I’m not sure what kind of love letters you used to receive in your old world, but this is the first ti I try to write sothing like this. Aelin helped learn, but these words... they are mine.]

On the other side, Azul lowered his head slightly, his ears turning red.

[Roxanna... I don’t know many beautiful words, but I know one word to describe you: sun.]

[You’re like a bright sun that warms everything around it.]

[When I feel cold, you make feel warm.]

[When everything is dark, you make it feel bright again.]

[Sotis... I can’t look at you for too long because you’re too bright.]

Roxanna held her breath as she continued reading. Her eyes grew hot because, honestly, she had never received a love letter like this before.

[But even then... I still want to stay close to you. I want to stand beside you, even if I am not as bright.]

[I want to protect you, even if I’m not strong enough yet.]

[I know you’ve been hurt many tis, so if you let , I want to be your sky, soone who can hold your light close.]
