With that, Xia Liang hung up the phone, placing a hand on her waist.
"Let's just wait for the show to start."
Han ngyu, however, wasn't interested in watching any show. Her interest was now entirely on Xia Liang.
"So what about now?"
"Now? We drink."
Since the woman was being so forward, Xia Liang certainly wasn't going to back down. He wasn't afraid of having another lover, after all. He picked up his glass, a slight smile playing on his lips.
"Now, it's your turn."
With that, he downed the drink in one gulp...
Five minutes later, Han ngyu finally broke away, gasping for breath.
HUFF... HUFF... HUFF...
"You're out of breath already?"
In contrast, Xia Liang was perfectly calm. What was five minutes? He could go for half an hour without breaking a sweat.
Han ngyu shot Xia Liang a look, her words hinting at sothing more. "With things like this, it's too early to draw conclusions."

The two flirted for a little while longer until most of the alcohol on the table was gone. Seeing that the ti was right, Xia Liang pressed the call button again.
Before long, the manager ca rushing over.
"Is there anything else, Mister Xia?"
Still acting casual, Xia Liang produced a card.
"Bring two more sets!"
The manager's eyes lit up. Xia Liang pointed at Shi Qiang, who was busy drinking.
"This ti, put it on his tab. His na is Shi Qiang!"
"Of course! Of course!"
After swiping the card, the manager respectfully departed to make the arrangents.
Watching the manager leave, Han ngyu gave Xia Liang a surprised look. After all, Xia Liang had said Shi Qiang was the one buying the drinks. And judging by the way those won were flocking to him, he had to have money. Han ngyu had subconsciously assud Shi Qiang was so rich heir. But now, it seed Xia Liang was the one footing the bill. This left her completely baffled.
Weren't rich heirs like them supposed to co to bars to show off? Ordering bottles of Ace of Spades, having 'Young Master Zhao' cover everyone's tab... isn't that the whole point? But Xia Liang was strange. He paid quietly and let soone else take the credit. What sort of bizarre hobby was this for a rich kid?
Han ngyu was confused, but she wasn't going to remain in the dark. She asked Xia Liang directly, "Why are you doing this?"
Finishing another glass, Xia Liang didn't beat around the bush. He gestured toward Shi Qiang in the middle of the crowd. "He's been my good buddy since we were kids. Unfortunately, he was played by a 'Sea King' for two years, getting strung along like one of her fish. I just want to give him a push, let him see her true colors and learn a thing or two."
Hearing Xia Liang's explanation, Han ngyu, for once, found herself thinking seriously about it. "What thing or two?"
"If you want to get the girl you like, you have to work for it! Work hard to get rich!"
With that, Xia Liang drained his glass.
Just as he hung up, Zhou Xiangqiao's car pulled up to the entrance of Wendy Bar.
This is it! After passing through security, she entered the bar and was imdiately hit by a blast of air-conditioned wind thick with the sll of smoke and alcohol. The music was deafening. Zhou Xiangqiao, being a regular at bars, was used to the atmosphere and didn't react much.
Just as she started looking for Private Room 3, the DJ on stage grabbed the mic and roared, "Let's give it up for Private Room 3! Young Master Shi in Room 3 just ordered two sets of the Ace of Spades Dragon Set!"

The whole club erupted in cheers again. The girls with the signs from before reappeared, parading through the crowd.
"Young Master Shi?" Zhou Xiangqiao murmured. It has to be him! The surna Shi is quite rare, and he's in Private Room 3. It all fits.
Hearing the DJ's announcent, Zhou Xiangqiao's heart pounded with excitent. As a club regular, she knew exactly what the Ace of Spades Dragon Set was. One set cost a staggering 88,888 yuan. And that guy had just ordered two.
Just as she was trying to calm her racing heart, she overheard people nearby buzzing with excitent.

Hearing the chorus of cheers, Shi Qiang was bewildered. These girls were all completely out of his league before. He wouldn't have dared to even speak to them, let alone drink with them. But now, they were all chanting his na.
Shi Qiang glanced at Xia Liang, who was sitting nearby with a grin. Xia Liang's expression seed to tell him not to be afraid. He knew this was all because of Xia Liang. In that instant, sothing seed to click for Shi Qiang.
He looked at the manager standing respectfully before him.
"Sir, shall we open these for you now?"
"Yes," Shi Qiang nodded.
From her spot in the crowd, Zhou Xiangqiao watched. Even though she had suspected it, seeing this with her own eyes was still hard to accept. It was really him. Five sets of Ace of Spades. 460,000 yuan. The man she'd once looked down on was spending money like it was nothing. All of this could have been hers.
Xia Liang's sharp eyes spotted Zhou Xiangqiao in the crowd, and the smile on his lips widened.
Han ngyu glanced toward the crowd. "She's here?"
"Yep." Xia Liang nodded.
After a round of scintillating dancing, the manager led the perforrs away again. Now, a new wave of girls flocked over.
"Handso, let's have a drink together!"
"Handso, you've had so much to drink. Here, have so fruit."
As she spoke, a girl held up a peeled grape between two delicate fingers, bringing it to Shi Qiang's lips. She cooed, "Open wide... ahhh..."
Shi Qiang was dumbfounded. This kind of life... does it really exist? He hesitated, unsure if he should open his mouth.
Watching from the side, Xia Liang couldn't help but shake his head and laugh. Still so spineless. He knew all about these common bar flirtation tactics.
Seeing this, Han ngyu teased him, "What's wrong, getting jealous? Why don't you order a round in your own na? That'll solve it."
"Why would I need to, when I have you?" Xia Liang replied, pulling Han ngyu into his arms.
In truth, several won had noticed the handso Xia Liang and wanted to try their luck with him, but seeing Han ngyu at his side, they all backed off.
