Tong Dongnuan glanced at the entrance to the haunted house. A gigantic statue of a demon stood there, looking as if it had escaped from Hell itself. It had huge fangs, sharp claws, long horns, and a gaping maw, poised as if waiting to devour people. The inside of the haunted house was a pitch-black abyss where nothing could be seen.
GULP.
Tong Dongnuan couldn't help but clutch Xia Liang's arm tighter, her petite body shrinking into his side, nestling against him like a little bird seeking refuge.
"Alright, let's go."
"Oh, okay..."
Tong Dongnuan's heart started thumping violently.
As soon as they entered the haunted house, a chilling, eerie aura washed over them, accompanied by a wave of dampness. It felt like the very breath from the deepest pits of Hell.
Tong Dongnuan, you can do this! You used to be the fearless Master Tong who was afraid of nothing! she cheered herself on.
Holding his hand, she took a step forward.

Tong Dongnuan was already white as a sheet, her body quivering uncontrollably. Helpless, Xia Liang looked at her pale face. He gently cradled her small face, and then... a deep kiss landed on her lips.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP...
Her heart, which had been pounding from terror and tension, suddenly seed to fall silent. Tong Dongnuan's eyes flew wide open, and she seed to forget everything in the darkness. In her world, there was only Teacher Xia and the deeply affectionate kiss on her lips.

The agent continued, "Mister Xia, the interested party saw the information for Room 701 in Building 7 and thinks it looks good. They're asking if they could see the apartnt first?" After a pause, the agent added, "If it's not convenient for you, we can just tell them to wait until they've made a firm decision."
If Xia Liang didn't agree, the agent would have to refuse. Ultimately, as the landlord, it was his right to decide who could view the property.
"No, that's fine. When are you thinking of coming over?"
"When would you be available?" the agent asked quickly.
"Let's see," Xia Liang said, checking the ti. He thought for a mont and decided on noon. Any earlier and he wouldn't be able to get up. That girl Tong Dongnuan had really worn him out these past few days. "How about noon tomorrow?"

"Mister Xia," an unfamiliar voice said. "It's about the viewing appointnt. The lady who scheduled it for today asked if we could possibly move the ti up a bit, as she has other engagents this afternoon."
A viewing? Xia Liang suddenly beca much more alert. He now rembered the appointnt he had made with the agent. Looking at the clock, he saw it was almost 10 AM. He didn't feel sleepy anymore, so he readily agreed.
"Alright then, let's et at the property managent office at 11 AM."
