The four were, of course, Ninth Brother, Scorpion, Ah Cai, and Stone.
"Still pretending?" Ninth Brother glared fiercely at Xia Liang. "Co ho with us!"
As he spoke, he reached out to grab Xia Liang's arm and pull him away.
Xia Liang frowned at the sight and, with a swift movent, dodged Ninth Brother's hand. "I think you have the wrong person."
Hearing this, Ninth Brother shot a look at Ah Cai and Stone. The two understood imdiately, splitting up to block Xia Liang's escape routes. Only then did Ninth Brother put on a furious expression, pointing at Xia Liang as he angrily proclaid, "As the saying goes, don't air your dirty laundry in public! But I can't stand it anymore—it's this man! He deceived my sister and got her pregnant! Now he has the nerve to deny everything."
He then tugged on Scorpion's arm. Scorpion, jolted back to her senses, stepped in front of Xia Liang to shield him, her voice thick with sobs. "Brother! I don't bla him! If he won't admit it, then fine! I'll raise the child by myself."
What in the world is this? Is this so new kind of honey trap? Are scams these days really this elaborate?

Seeing how well Ninth Brother spoke, the crowd voiced their support.
"No problem!"
"Take him back and teach him a good lesson!"
"You can take him, but don't kill him!"
"They probably won't. Look at that girl, she's still protecting that scumbag even now."
"Anyway, it's their family's business. Let's not get involved."
Amidst the noisy chatter, the onlookers parted to form a path.
"Let's go!" Ninth Brother signaled Ah Cai with his eyes.
Ah Cai yanked Scorpion away. "Cousin! A scumbag like him isn't worth it!"
Scorpion's cries were heart-wrenching, a sound to break any listener's heart and bring a tear to any onlooker's eye. "Sob... Brother, please don't be hard on him," she wailed. "I don't bla him... sob..."
Scorpion's naturally gentle and frail appearance was highly deceptive, and this scene only amplified the crowd's sympathy.
"Oh, the poor child."
"Another girl hurt by love."
"May all won in this world be treated with tenderness."
"Dear child! He's not worth it! A man like that isn't worth your tears."

Hearing this, everyone froze.
