Even so, Ethan didn’t know what kind of skills would suit his current class. Omniblade ant a sword user who adjusted their skills and abilities based on the weapon or elent they used.

"I’m new to this class. Can you tell more about Omniblade?" Ethan asked.

The male staff mber instinctively turned his head, looking at Ashley as if wondering where she found such a fool like Ethan—soone who picked an unfamiliar class to use for life.

Ashley simply nodded, signaling the man from the city cathedral to explain more about the Omniblade class to Ethan.

In the end, the staff mber cleared his throat and agreed. He stepped forward and began explaining what the Omniblade Class was and what kind of power it possessed.

"Omniblade is a new class that appeared after the update nine months ago. You could say it was quite popular at first," the man said.

"However, as ti went on, the number of players interested in Omniblade dropped sharply. At this very mont, you’re the only one who’s chosen it since the release of Full Drive VR," he added.

"Is that because this class is weak?" Ethan asked.

"On the contrary. This class was created to be a new kind of power that no one had ever imagined before. But people lost interest once they realized Omniblade was too difficult and irrelevant for most players," the man explained.

Because it was difficult, that ant the class wasn’t weak.

Not only did the man explain how the class started, but he also told Ethan many other things—one of them being about the skill set system.

Since its abilities depended on the weapon or elent used, Ethan would naturally have several different modes.

"The default skill set works the sa way as a warrior’s skill set. That ans even if you change weapons right now, your skills will stay the sa," the man said.

"So I need to buy skill sets and match them with my weapons’ characteristics. Am I right?" Ethan asked.

"Exactly."

Ethan nodded. He had to admit, the Omniblade’s abilities were quite tricky. There would be a lot of skill choices to manage.

He also had to rember every one of his skill sets—their powers and buffs.

The risk was that every ti Ethan changed swords, he had to change his skill set again.

Thinking about all of it made Ethan dizzy. He started to realize why Omniblade hadn’t won the hearts of many players. The class just wasn’t efficient.

Ethan had thought he would automatically get skills that matched his swords’ elents, but he was wrong. The swords only affected ATK, DEF, and Buff—not the skill set.

"Is there anything else you’d like to know about Omniblade?" the man asked.

"I don’t think so. I know where to go if I have questions about this class."

"Of course, Mr. Ethan. You can visit the Cathedral of Light anyti. We welco everyone."

After finishing their business in the Class Advancent room, Ethan and Ashley left the place.

As they walked out, Ashley occasionally looked at Ethan’s face. His expression was serious.

"If you weren’t familiar with Omniblade, you should’ve gone with Knight Templar, like you always do," Ashley said.

"At first, I wanted to. But sohow, this class felt like it was calling ."

"Omniblade chose . It flew toward , asking to choose it," Ethan said.

"I don’t understand what you an, Ethan."

Ethan smiled. What mattered most now was learning more about Omniblade and the characteristics of his two legendary swords.

With his experience, Ethan believed he could understand the nature of both swords, even though they had different elents.

They walked out of the city cathedral and headed down the main street.

Ashley said she would return to the LionArk headquarters to handle so guild paperwork related to the city’s alliances.

Ethan told her he would find an inn near the LionArk base. He couldn’t stay at the headquarters since he wasn’t part of the guild.

He also didn’t want people to start spreading rumors about him and Ashley. That would only harm her and LionArk’s reputation because of his bad image.

When he arrived in his room at the inn, Ethan summoned his two legendary swords. The weapons floated in front of him, glowing with different kinds of energy.

Bloodblade Ashura released a crimson aura, while Tempest Reaver emitted a soft green light.

To check their characteristics, Ethan lightly tapped each sword twice. Two system panels appeared, showing their detailed stats.

[Bloodblade Ashura Ver. 1 (Legendary)]

[ATK: 850 || AGI: 75% || STR: 50% || Lifesteal: 5% of damage dealt || Elental Affinity: 70% Fire Damage]

[Tempest Reaver (Legendary)]

[ATK: 650 || AGI: 60% || STR: 25% || Movent Speed: 35% || Elental Affinity: 80% Wind Damage]

From what appeared on the panels, Ethan could already tell the general attributes of both swords. Bloodblade Ashura clearly had higher stats than Tempest Reaver.

Still, compared to most other swords, Tempest Reaver was far superior.

Luckily, Ethan owned both of these legendary weapons. He only needed one more sword to complete his set of three swords—three different powers, three different skill sets.

"I already know their base stats. Looks like I need to visit an item shop to find the best skill set for both of my swords," Ethan said.

Day turned to night. Ethan decided to go out after dark since it felt like the right ti to walk around the city.

He left the inn and strolled down the main street. Even at night, the city remained lively, full of players coming and going.

Ethan walked alone, ignoring the hostile looks from others watching him along the way.

Even so, none of them dared to act, let alone attack him in the middle of the city. Their lives were far too valuable to risk just to fight Ethan.

When he reached the city square, Ethan stopped for a mont, admiring the busy trading scene.

Not only NPCs, but many players from various guilds had opened their own shops to earn more money.

Soon, guild-owned shops would attract more custors than NPC stores.

Ethan stopped walking when he arrived at an item shop that sold many accessories, potions, and bundles.

He preferred NPC shops over guild ones since he thought NPCs were more reliable.

NPCs wouldn’t lie or intimidate. The transaction process was always smooth between both sides.

"Welco," greeted a woman around twenty-two years old, with long black hair flowing over her left shoulder.

Ethan walked in, following her toward the counter. The woman kept smiling, ready to help him with anything he needed.

"Is there sothing I can help you with, sir?" she asked.

"I want to buy a skill set."

"All right. What’s your level, sir?"

"Level 62. My class has been upgraded to Omniblade."

"Omniblade? That’s interesting. You’ll need a lot of skills that match your sword abilities," said the woman.

I didn’t expect her to know about the Omniblade class. This might be easier than I thought.

Ethan opened his inventory and displayed his two legendary swords. He showed them to the woman.

"Please recomnd so skill sets that fit the abilities and attributes of these two swords."

"Understood. I’ll give you so recomndations. But in the end, you’ll have to decide," the woman said with a smile.

"Of course."
