Ethan and Risa walked together across the stone bridge to enter the black castle. When he looked around the area, he clearly saw many parties lined up to wait for their turn.
They could be counted easily, and the uniforms they wore had different colors and patterns.
Even so, Risa was sure the number of parties inside this floor boss castle was not greater than the number in the floor one boss castle.
In fact, there were far more parties on the first floor in her opinion.
Ethan stopped walking, becoming the last party to arrive in that place, since ti kept moving and day turned to night.
There was no foolish party that dared to travel through the forest at night, much less challenge a floor boss.
So parties inside the castle kept watching Ethan, not because of his face or appearance, but because of his confidence and reckless attitude.
He did not have any party mbers. The friend he brought was a red cursor monster he should have killed, but instead he befriended it.
"You? Why are you bringing that monster?" asked a woman with a sharp, shrill voice.
"So what? Are you bothered by my friend?" Ethan asked.
"Of course. It can kill all of us," the woman answered firmly.
"I will be the one who kills all of you if you try to cause trouble with or my friend," Ethan said firmly.
"Who do you think you are? What can you do? You ca here alone!" she shouted.
Ethan stretched out his hand, summoning Bloodblade Ashura and gripping the sword with his right hand.
His appearance changed sharply. His black hair lit up into a reddish color and the power in his body rose drastically.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
The woman froze, silent without saying a single word when she saw Ethan’s power. Not only her, but the other parties inside the castle reacted the sa way.
Tension ford between them, almost turning into a fight between Ethan’s party and the woman’s party.
But Risa stepped in to stop the conflict, explaining that there was no need for a fight.
Risa knew Ethan was strong. She was sure Ethan could defeat them. But their defeat ant their death.
In Risa’s mind, Ethan had already fallen into the hatred of many people, maybe even the whole world.
If Ethan attacked them and even killed them, his reputation would only get worse. Risa did not want that to happen.
Seeing Risa co and calm him made Ethan store Bloodblade Ashura again. His appearance returned to normal and his aura settled.
[Mode Ashura Deactivated]
The woman looked frightened. She stepped back toward her party to get away from Ethan.
Every party had seen Ethan’s power, and none of them dared to threaten or bother him after that mont.
To them, Ethan was not an ordinary person. Challenging him ant death.
One by one, the parties entered the floor boss room as it opened. Risa once again did the sa thing she had done at the floor one boss castle, counting.
She counted the ti when a party entered and ended when that party exited. Risa did not do it just once. She kept counting for each party that got a turn at the floor boss.
The average ti each party needed to finish the challenge was twenty-five minutes, about three to four minutes longer than the previous floor.
That was more than enough to prove the floor two boss monster was much harder than the kobold boss.
One by one, the parties entered the room. So succeeded and teleported straight to floor three.
Others failed and chose to give up. There were even parties that lost half their mbers and failed to kill the boss.
After waiting long enough, it was Ethan and Risa’s turn to face the floor boss. Ethan’s assumption was wrong.
There were so foolish parties that pushed through the forest and tried to challenge the boss, even if there were only three of them.
They saw Ethan enter the room with a girl, only the two of them. Those people began to question Ethan’s sanity, especially when one party had already lost all three of their friends because of the floor boss.
If they failed, then how could Ethan, with only two mbers, succeed? It looked difficult or even impossible.
Arriving inside the boss room, the door closed on its own. Many torch pillars lit up with blue fire, brightening the place.
Risa looked at it, smiling in awe. But Ethan was different. He focused sharply on the fire-tailed lizard monster standing four ters tall in front of him.
The weapon held by the monster was a spear with an iron blade wrapped in flas, a common weapon for a lizard monster.
I’m worried that fire lizard has an AoE attack that might hit Risa.
"Lyodra! Neryss!"

Hearing their nas called by Ethan made their chibi bodies fly forward, glowing red for Lyodra and blue for Neryss.
They absorbed 1000 of Ethan’s MP, becoming a total of 2000 MP since Ethan summoned both soul servants directly.
Soon, their light faded and disappeared, replaced by the forms of adult won wearing dresses with different thes, ocean and lava.
"You two stay here and protect Risa."
Neryss and Lyodra agreed. Lyodra stabbed her fire spear into the ground, wrapping Risa in a do of fire. Neryss raised her magic staff, creating an ocean wall surrounding the area.
Risa looked touched by Ethan’s effort. She never expected Ethan would do sothing this big just to protect her.
Ethan focused his eyes and mind forward, watching the boss lizard that roared and hissed in front of him.
Not wanting to waste more ti, Ethan stretched his hand and summoned his Bloodblade Ashura.
When he gripped the sword, power flowed through his body and his appearance shifted again.
[Mode Ashura Activated]
The huge surge of power from Ethan provoked anger from the boss lizard. The monster gripped its spear with both hands and swung it sideways toward Ethan.
Ethan narrowed his eyes, seeing the slash attack rushing toward him. He did not want to lose. Ethan swung his sword sideways to launch a crimson slash.
Both attacks collided, creating a large explosion that pushed Ethan and the lizard boss back.
Ethan narrowed his eyes again, realizing he needed to defeat the boss quickly.
He gripped his sword with both hands and leaped high into the air, activating the Skybreaker Leap Skill.
The boss lizard tried to strike Ethan, but failed. Every spear strike it released was blocked perfectly by Ethan.
Ethan landed hard on the ground, creating a field of random sword slashes that spread around him.
The boss lizard was close to Ethan, injured and heavily affected.
Because of the increased damage from the Rage Infinite buff, the boss lizard’s HP was drained completely. Its body exploded and shattered, leaving magic particles floating to the sky.

Ethan smiled, still in his Ashura Mode. Seeing Ethan successfully kill the monster made Risa happy.
Lyodra and Neryss detected no more threats. Both soul servants returned to their original forms, passive mode and chibi bodies.
Risa stepped toward Ethan with a smile. Ethan turned and raised his hand, gently patting Risa’s head.
"I’m fine."
"I know," Risa said.
Soon, the room door opened and everyone looked inside. They clearly saw Ethan defeat the floor boss in less than five minutes, sothing terrifying in their eyes.
A teleport crystal appeared in the room. Ethan turned and smiled. The crystal would send Ethan and Risa straight to the third floor.
"Let’s go."
Risa cleared her throat and agreed. For Risa, reaching floor fifty was a duty she had to complete to save her entire tribe.
For Ethan, floor fifty was his real contribution to LionArk after the disappointnt he had received before.
They both had the sa goal, and that was why they worked together.
