Chapter 263: Forge! II

“Living Forge Physiology.”

HUUM!

The mont Achilles called upon it, the air shimred.

Around him, the world distorted, not from heat, but from sothing more primal, more sacred.

An illusory forge blood from his body.

It unfurled like a living star, a swirling crucible of molten color and celestial fire. Purple and gold flas weaved with crimson arcs, forming a semi-transparent forge that pulsed in rhythm with his heart.

And in his hand…

A hamr.

No, not a simple hamr.

An illusory forgehamr, sculpted from his very soul.

Made from the grandeur and imnsity of his Adrastia Emperor King Lineage!

Purple-gold, translucent yet real. The head of it was embedded with phantom veins of his bloodline, starlight running like liquid tal across its surface.

He raised it high.

Then, slowly, reverently, he lowered his hand.

With this forge, he could make anything that he wanted. He could make any weapon or armor with absolutely any material.

He could make a weapon out of the air around him, or out of the waters of the spring below him, or out of the trees or even starlight itself!

Anything that he wanted, he could use as the material, as this was exactly how terrifying the inheritance that he had obtained from his great grandfather was.

This was Cataclysm’s Heart, and the forge it gave.

And when he thought about the first thing that he could forge, as well as what it could be made out of he had in his mind, but the decision was made rather quickly.

From his chest—no, deeper—from his marrow, from his very Adrastia Emperor King blood…

Blood welled up.

Not in a crimson stream, but in shimring, radiant threads of light.

Each droplet of blood was akin to a sun, a star, a testant to what he was.

He called it forth, shaping it, twisting it midair with sheer will.

The blood congealed, hardened, twisted again, and it ford into the pool of blood that ca from the depths of his body as it radiated and shone with a terrifying glimr of starlight.

And Achilles moved.

BOOM!

The hamr fell.

A single, soul-shaking strike.

The blood quivered, folding upon itself.

Flas, abyssal flas, spread out and covered everything.

All qualities of his forging Assimilations were utilized.

BOOM.

Another strike.

The resonance of the hamr upon the Living Forge was not just a sound.

It was a call.

A rhythm.

BOOM.

BOOM.

The sound echoed outward.

Across the Primal Neon Tower.

Across the sea of Thalassara overhead.

Across the Adrastia Dynasty continent floating in the sky.

The sound was not just heard, it was felt.

It stirred the souls of all who dwelled there, a deep, instinctive call to sothing ancient and powerful.

A mory of the stars before the world was ever born.

In the Life Spring clearing, the hamr’s rhythmic forging continued.

Achilles shaped the blood, twisting it into…

A Bow.

This was what he envisioned.

Long and sleek, yet terrifying in its majesty.

The limbs of the bow were forged into a mirrored crescent shape, almost translucent but rippling with hues of crimson and gold, like an endless sunrise trapped within polished glass. Thin, vein-like tendrils of starlight webbed the surface, like constellations engraved in flesh and bone.

At the bow’s center, where the grip would sit, the starlight ford a core, a pulse, a heart, throbbing softly with life.

The bowstring?

It was not made.

It was summoned.

A thread of pure matter, drawn directly from the Sea of Thalassara itself, shimring with silver-blue light, fused seamlessly with the bow, taut and waiting.

Achilles could not explain the glorious sensation that he felt every ti that his hamr thundered down. It was like a part of himself was molding and cradling and forging sothing of his very own being into a different form!

And as the final strike fell…

BOOOOOOOM!

A pillar of light erupted from the forge.

Purple, gold, crimson.

It shot into the skies. Above the Sea of Thalassara.

An aurora of ancient colors, painting the sky above the Adrastia Dynasty for all to see.

For hours to co, that light would not fade.

It would burn.

And at this mont, Rose Adrian, floating up the crystalline stairs of the Primal Neon Tower, paused.

Her green hair shimred under the moonlight, her violet eyes wide.

Drawn by the sound, by the hamr’s call, she moved silently through the bioluminescent forest, guided by instinct.

When she reached the Life Spring clearing…

She saw him.

Achilles stood there, bathed in the dying glow of the Living Forge.

And in his hand…

The bow.

It radiated power.

But not just power.

It radiated him.

The essence of Achilles Adrastia Maxwell. His blood. His legacy.

And as he turned slightly, lifting the bow, the details unfolded before his eyes like a declaration of conquest:

Achilles lowered the bow slowly, his fingers brushing across its smooth, starlit surface.

It pulsed faintly against his skin, alive, waiting.

A gift.

A promise.

For her, and for him.

He looked toward the edge of the forest.

Rose stood there, unmoving, her eyes wide and shining.

For a long mont, neither spoke.

The aurora above bathed them both in the light of ancient glory.

Then, Achilles smiled, a rare, soft smile ant only for her!
