Chapter 304: Chicken Shit! II

A pair of eyes watched the distant continent!

The air distorted around them, flas curling in slow spirals as if reluctant to exist beside such overwhelming wrath.

Azuryan the Verdant Fla watched.

From her perch high above the drifting clouds, her wings were folded in silence, the tips blazing green.

She hovered alone at the front of a burning sky filled with over three thousand phoenixes behind her.

Their feathers blazed with hues of green and gold as they looked mystical and filled with glory!

She had not co to admire.

Her mission was vengeance.

For the Triarcan Keep, they had decided for Solmyron, her counterpart, to go and oversee!

Azuryan…she had unfinished business. Unquenched fury!

Ayan was dead, alongside her legion as she now tracked down the culprit.

She could sense the Legion of Phoenixes that were likely under his mind control even now, similar to the Phoenixes she had to kill personally because of this enemy!

Azuryan did not rage.

She simply rembered.

Her voice, when it ca, was calm.

“Phoenixes of the Everburn Aerie.”

A ripple passed through the skies.

The flas of thousands flickered in unison.

No sound erged- only reverence. Only heat. Only glorious, scorching heat!

“Before you,” she said, her words woven with the power of wildfire and echo, “is a continent housing the one responsible for the death of thousands of Ancient Millennium Acheron Phoenixes. Your bretheren that you used to know and love. Phoenixes I watched grow up and taught myself!”

WAA!

The erald fire in her eyes narrowed.

“The enemy is a brutal invader of our continent and desecrator as…they only deserve death!”

…!

Winds howled behind her, summoned by the fury of living fla.

“Set forth.”

She unfurled her wings. They stretched wider than fortresses, broader than skyscrapers, and flas poured from their tips in curtains of green and gold.

“Burn their roots. Cleanse their continent. Reduce them to cinders!”

WAA!

Then she turned.

A single beat of her wings.

The skies ignited.

The three thousand phoenixes followed.

A river of fire surged toward the Adrastia Continent, a skyborne inferno with no brakes and no rcy.

And ahead of it all, Azuryan flew like a judgnt wrapped in wings!

The skies wept with fire.

Red and verdant searing green, interlaced with molten gold!

Thousands of legional phoenixes rode the storm, their massive wings slicing through clouds as molten trails of lava-like fla fell in screaming arcs behind them. The sky above the Adrastia Continent, once a serene do of radiant blue sea, now buzzed under their wrath.

The radiant blue sky, an ethereal Sea of Thalassara that covered the havens of the floating Adrastia Continent, shimred with celestial glow.

But that serenity shattered.

The mont the Phoenixes appeared, the entire sky darkened.

Below, across the vast sprawl of the Adrastia Continent, millions lifted their eyes.

In the verdant forests of the pastThornveil Colonies, where trees pulsed with life, children and mothers stared skyward. In the frostbound corners of Glacivane, warriors halted where they stood, breath catching in cold mist as wings blotted the sun.

And across the fused cities of Neon, Titanfall, and the Magitech Dynasty, many looked up!

The Thalassarians were the closest.

And…

A single emotion unified them all.

Dread.

Azuryan’s eyes burned with erald hellfire as she looked down at them. Her voice rang like thunder, sweeping through the clouds.

“This is the recompense for the devastation your so-called King has wrought! For the death of many phoenixes, for the scattering of our sacred legions!”

HUUM!

Her voice twisted into a bellow as her beak opened.

And from it, a pillar of continent-shattering, reality-scorching green fla erupted downward.

Thousands followed suit.

Like a hellish apocalypse, the sky lit up in streaks of erald and gold, the heat so intense that even the blue sea above shimred under its weight. The air boiled. The world seed to tilt.

Then…

BOOOOM!

A shockwave rippled across the skies.

And yet…

An unseen boundary flared to life.

It ca into view not as a titanic do of golden purple light.

Runescriptures etched into the scaffolding of the Titanwall Do shimred to life in synchronized brilliance!

A continent-sized construct of protective will, forged from Primordial Energy and Evolutius Energy!

Of an old age, and a new age!

The flas hit.

And stopped.

Not an inch.

Not a single scorchmark.

The blistering fires fell against the Titanwall Do and slid off like rainwater cascading down smooth glass.

The heat dispersed.

The clouds parted.

And in the skies, the millions who had braced for annihilation slowly opened their eyes.

To see glory.

The Do shimred with radiance. The flas that had promised extinction now danced harmlessly on the outer surface, falling away like burning blossoms, descending upon the world in a scene that belonged in myth.

Azuryan’s beak closed slowly.

Her eyes narrowed.

All around her, her phoenix legion faltered mid-air, the endless roars quieting, confusion replacing fury.

That was when they felt it.

A pressure.

An aura.

A terrifying, towering force of power surged forth from within the blue sea of Thalassara that blanketed the skies of Adrastia.

It streaked across the sky like a teor as behind it followed Rose.

Aliya.

Dr. Shaw.

And many others.

The ones that had been teleported away by Achilles from the skies of the Triarcan Keep.

But the one before them all whose aura eclipsed all others…

Was the Primordial Avatar of Achilles Adrastia Maxwell!

He stood in the air, calmly.

Golden light pulsed off his body.

Hair shimring in strands of liquid authority. Each lock flowed like a waterfall of power. His eyes glowed brighter than the brilliance of Thalassara. His body held none of the wear of battle. No dust. No sweat.

Only power.

He looked at Azuryan, whose massive fra hovered at the head of her legion.

He tilted his head.

“When I saw Solmyron in the Triarcan Keep,” he said, voice laced with calm tyranny, “I wondered where the other chicken shit ruler of the Phoenixes was.”
