Chapter 306: Target Practice II
Behind Rose, Dr. Shaw soared upward in a coat that glead like polished sapphire.
Aliya, holding a shimring liquid stellar spear, rode a shimr of starlight up into the maelstrom.
Lancelot, one of the fee Celestbone Stage Astral Core Ascension entities among them, surged with with swirling frost and power!
King Flawake surged into the skies in a body surrounded by crimson fury as he had an obsidian hamr in hand that any Titan Dwarf would consider sacred.
They all rose.
To war.
To vengeance.
To…target practices as Achilles had declared.
And as they t the Phoenixes, the sky above the Adrastia Continent beca a storm of myth and fury.
A storm of Evolutius Energy and Primordial Energy!
Achilles didn’t speak again.
He only stepped forward and floated in the stillness, hovering above the Adrastia Continent within the dual dos of his Territorial Domain V and the Titanwall Do.
Below, Rose and the others had surged forward, now engaged in a bloom of motion and firelight as the sky teetered between annihilation and brilliance.
Above, Azuryan’s form raged like a sovereign inferno, her wings stained with erald judgnt.
But Achilles… he remained still.
His gaze remained fixed on her while his left hand calmly moved.
With a single breath, he cast sothing he had been thinking off for quite so ti.
Prival Epoch Bloom VI.
…!
BOOOM!
From the air around him, golden fissures of ti split reality.
Rivers of burning, slow-turning amber light swirled into existence as though the very laws of space were lting under his fingertips.
The sky darkened from the vast, radiant canopy of the Prival Epoch Bloom expanding.
Within the do of 100 miles, the flow of ti twisted.
Golden vines of fate, destiny, epochs, and evolution stretched and pulsed like veins in the havens.
Between the rivers, fragnts of stars shimred. New skies blinked into being and vanished in flashes, the energies crackling like age itself rebirthing.
And within it…
Ti itself bent.
Two hours within this field equated to one outside.
Two days, one outside.
But even more than the chanics, it was the potential.
His golden eyes shone with introspection.
‘What is power… if it belongs to only ?’
Within the bloom, his mind worked. Thoughts moving faster than even the starlight that clung to his skin.
‘If power is to an anything, it must be sothing others can also grasp. Rose and everyone else…I may not always be there to protect them, so they should always have the power to protect themselves if need be!’
He smiled faintly.
He wanted to give them…evolution.
HUUM!
The Prival Epoch Bloom surged. Rivers of temporal gold bathed the battlefield, pulsing through the air like living light. Achilles willed its effects to only apply to himself and those marked by his authority.
That…was when it happened.
A change. Unexpected.
From above the skies- no, from beyond- threads of light tore through the do.
Not attacks.
But…beams of Destiny that only he could see. Maybe the Monkey King if he was here too.
Streams of radiant banners, woven from Planar threads of cause and destiny descended like spears of light.
One struck Rose.
Another, Aliya.
Dozens more followed, each piercing his allies.
Then one struck him.
BOOOM!
Power ignited.
Rose’s body erupted with starlight so intense it tore the air. Dr. Shaw’s limbs quaked as a flood of magic, muscle, and clarity ran through his veins. Aliya scread as her body began to shine with a celestial silvery might!
Achilles’ own blood boiled.
He felt it.
His Prival Epoch Bloom had triggered sothing.
Sothing not easy to even trigger in the first place as it dealt with chanics of this Plane even he did not know fully know!
Planar Destiny.
And whatever it was… it was recognizing them.
Empowering them.
Now.
His eyes shone brighter.
“Verdant Celest Realm VI.”
The world cracked open.
From the sky, seeds fell- stars masquerading as pollen.
The battlefield below shimred with roots. Then stellar trees. Then multicolored stelllar forests.
In a blink, a living forest erged. Towering with crystalline trees of white jade, trunks wrapped in constellations, leaves shimring with mana.
The forest grew around the phoenixes. Dividing them. Isolating them.
The trees pulsed.
And fought.
Vines whipped out and tore through the sky, deflecting flaming wings. Trees absorbed solar fire, analyzing it, then launching counterbursts of searing, celestial chlorophyll.
The phoenixes panicked.
Azuryan roared.
Her flaming form twisted mid-air, folding inward, green-gold feathers shrinking, coalescing.
Then…
BOOOOM!
She landed before Achilles.
Her humanoid form.
Seven feet of burning beauty. Erald skin patterned with feathers. Her eyes were pools of molten fla, and her wings, though diminished, flickered like blades of destruction.
Nine tails of white fire writhed behind her, each a weapon.
“You vile human,” she spat. “It is this nature of yours… this wanton destruction, greed, this manipulation… that led to your enslavent in the previous age! You know nothing of unity or balance. You twist the world around your image!”
She thrust her hand forward.
A Celestbone Wing ford, blazing with transcendent fire. It crashed down toward him.
Achilles raised his hand.
“Ascendant Lunar and Solar Constructs.”
Nine constructs burst into reality.
Humanoid suns of gold. Moons of silver taking form.
They orbited him like glorious thrones.
Three ford a shield above his head. Three darted toward Azuryan in spiraling fla. Three began rotating in wide arcs.
The Celestbone Wing hit the constructs.
And buzzed as it was held off entirely!
Azuryan’s eyes widened.
Achilles floated forward.
His aura dimd the Verdant Celest Realm behind him. The forests parted for him as if in prayer.
“You can scream about humans all you want,” he said, voice quiet. “But you’re wrong.”
“You speak of balance, but burn indiscriminately. You speak of history, yet act as tyrants.”
He raised his hand. A spear of golden light ford in it.
“This ti… we’re not the ones begging to be free.”
Achilles let out a light smile.
“I told you, Azuryan.”
BOOM!
“I’m trying to make sure… you don’t leave here alive.”
…!
Onward!
