Chapter 421: Consequences! I
Rose said nothing for so ti as if she was processsing everything, and only after a while did she breathe out.
Then she smiled…but not the warm expression of a smile.
It was sothing sharper, more dangerous, carrying edges that spoke to protective instincts!
“Ethemia wants you to spread your lineage across multiple species,” she said. “To create dozens or hundreds of progeny…”
Rose stepped closer, her erald eyes blazing with determination that could have ignited small suns. “Tell honestly..do you think this strategy is necessary? Do you believe it’s one of the ways to protect Arya and ensure our family’s survival?”
…!
The question was heavy.
Achilles felt his consciousness processing the fundantal tension of the question.
The clinical logic was undeniable as he…could also feel an inkling with his Lineage. His blood burned as if it was telling if he was able to truly and freely allow for many carrying the Adrastia Emperor King Lineage to rise, he would unlock wonder he could not imagine right now.
So…he answered honestly.
“I don’t know,” he admitted.
“The strategic reasoning is sound. A single Adrastia Emperor King caused these Outsiders to plot and plan across eons. If there were dozens or hundreds…and I can feel sothing that I cannot quite put an understanding on.”
He trailed off.
Rose nodded slowly, her expression cycling through emotions too complex.
When she spoke again, her voice carried resolution that had been forged through her green flas.
“I’ll always be by your side regardless,” she said, each word carrying absolute certainty. “When it cos to procreation, if it really is necessary…” She paused, her erald eyes reflecting love.
“I’ll be your only one. But I’ll pick and choose for you who you can procreate with to achieve the goal of progeny. And it stops at procreation, and it is always referred to as such. No attachnts, no emotions. Okay?”
The offer hung between them like a bridge spanning impossible distances.
Achilles smiled as he brought her into his embrace.
She placed her head on his chest as she comtinued.
“Those so called Outsiders targetted the First Adrastia Emperor King for a reason. They will target you and Arya, so we must do everything we can to make sure they cannot threaten you.”
…!
“We’ll face whatever cos together,” she said, her smile carrying imnse warmth.
Her erald fire danced around them both, painting the hospital room in hues of glory. Her expression beca stern soon after as she voiced out coldly. “So…when do we start conquering the Star Seas?”
Achilles hugged her even tighter as he said…
“Soon. Soon!”
At these words, she pushed out of his embrace and looked at him head on. Her eyes burned fiercly as she began tying her hair into a ponytail like soone ready to put in heavy work.
“Okay. Even if they say it impossible for you to have more progeny with the sa species…nothing prevents us from continuing to try. So you…will have to try a few dozen tis a day at the very least! And that, Little Fatty, is non-negotiable!”
…!
Achilles’ eyes shone brightly at these words.
He looked at this woman in front of him as truly, he loved her too much!
So he simply said…
“Yes, Ma’am.”
—
In existence, there are countless trillions across different worlds, realms, and planes who face their own consequences every day. All as a result of their choices.
A rchant chooses to cheat his custors. A king chooses to oppress his people. A mother chooses to protect her child. A warrior chooses to flee from battle.
At a certain point, they made a choice. At a later point, they would face the consequences of these choices.
Choices, and Consequences.
The universe doesn’t forgive. It doesn’t forget. It simply… delivers.
And at this point in ti in the Star Seas, it was ti for many terrifying consequences to bloom across the cosmic expanse for choices that beings had made over the years.
The reckoning had begun!
—
Within the Star Seas, twelve massive warships cut through the void like wounded titans seeking sanctuary.
The vessels stretched for miles in every direction, their hulls bearing the distinctive design of the Sovereign Void Imperium…sleek obsidian fras adorned with stellar purple wings that caught and refracted starlight.
Towering masts of crystallized void rose from their centers, each one inscribed with runes that pulsed with accumulated authority.
But the ships looked battle-worn. Shredded. Their purple wings bore tears that spoke to combat.
Scorch marks traced patterns across their hulls while entire sections of their superstructure had been twisted into configurations that defied normal engineering.
The Void Hamr, The Stellar Requiem, The Crimson Eclipse… each warship carried battle honors earned across cosmic campaigns, yet now they limped through space like survivors of apocalyptic conflict!
They entered the region of the Sovereign Void Imperium with the desperate urgency of refugees seeking salvation.
The territory spread before them was a glorious one.
Scattered worlds rotated in perfect orbital harmony, their surfaces gleaming with cities that stretched across entire continents. Planes of Existence drifted through space like cosmic jewels, each one housing civilizations that asured their histories in geological epochs.
At the center of this organized chaos, hundreds of Planes clustered around a gravitational nexus that served as the beating heart of imperial authority!
Each plane pulsed with its own internal radiance while maintaining precise positioning.
Aboard the flagship Void Sovereign vessel, Achilles stood in the disguise of Marshal Korvain Ashfall.
His crimson hair moved with artificial currents while his golden suit bore carefully crafted damage that told the story of desperate combat against overwhelming odds.
Behind him, three other Marshals maintained positions that expressed military hierarchy and shared trauma.
Their expressions were heavy, marked by a heavy kind of exhaustion!
Marshal Veyra Nightfall stepped forward, her obsidian skin gleaming with embedded starlight while her silver hair was bound in military braids that spoke to decades of service.
Her uniform bore the distinctive markings of soone who’d achieved the second stage of Stellar Genesis Embodint through thodical advancent rather than sudden elevation as at this ti, her voice rang out!
