Now reading: Chapter 523: An Era of Peace! I from I Can Assimilate Everything, a Action novel by Adui.

A day passed.

And at a ti where even the passage of hours seed heavy, that single day carried the weight of utmost peace and serenity.

It was a quality so unfamiliar after weeks of constant vigilance that its presence felt almost disorienting.

The Void.

An unknown distance away, far from any nearby Star Seas... stellar light itself never reached these depths where darkness reigned absolute.

At an area that held no difference from countless other regions of emptiness, unseen by eyes that might have searched for it, there existed a rounded section of the Void that contained within its boundaries sothing impossible.

A radiant blue Sea of Thalassara, blazing with inherited light that should not have been able to exist in such darkness.

Inside it, the sensation of peace perated every cubic ter of stellar water, settled into the consciousness of every being sheltered within its depths.

At this mont, there was no worry of invasions, no fear of wars, no concern that powerful entities would suddenly descend with intent to destroy or subjugate.

The pressure that had beco normalized had simply vanished.

It felt like the start of a new era!

At this mont, at the peak of the Primal Neon Tower in what used to be the center of the Colony of Neon, a grand banquet of celebration unfolded.

The colony had co unfathomably far from its origins as a tiny city surrounded by Evolutius Beasts.

A crystalline purple-gold castle stood above the vein-stalk structure of the Primal Neon Tower like a crown declaring triumph over adversity.

Inside, hundreds of beings ran about while enjoying food and conversation that flowed with the ease of people who had finally been granted permission to relax.

The sound was trendous...laughter mixing with music, voices raised in toasts and declarations, the ambient noise of celebration vibrant.

Major David stood near one of the crystalline pillars, gesturing animatedly while recounting so battle to Luna and others whose expression cycled between amusent and exasperation.

Nyxeria drifted between groups with feline grace.

The many different past Thrones of Colony Dynasties mingled with representatives from Ancient Lineages.

Every single being distinguished enough to warrant invitation enjoyed their part in this ongoing celebration.

On the highest floor of the castle, removed from the celebration’s epicenter but still connected to its energy, Achilles stood with Rose on a balcony overlooking the transford landscape of their Empire.

The two were adorned in unique attires that marked this as formal occasion.

Achilles was in a dark purple suit that seed to absorb light rather than reflect it.

Rose wore a jeweled fiery green dress that moved like living fla, gemstones embedded throughout its structure pulsing.

They looked out at the blinking vibrancy of entities moving through the citadel of Neon...high skyscrapers that had been reconstructed with glory.

Rivers of the Sea of Thalassara flowed through the skies above everything, radiant blue waters defying gravity to create aerial channels where Thalassarians flew with joyous freedom.

The sight was ecstatic in its impossibility...water that existed without containers, beings that swam through air as if it were ocean!

Light from the stellar waters illuminated everything below, creating shadows that danced and shifted with the movent of countless lives all existing in proximity without conflict.

Rose drank golden liquid from a crystalline glass- juice squeezed from Evolutius Fruits that had been cultivated in gardens now relocated to the Void, sweetness enhanced by existential manipulation that made simple refreshnt into sothing that could nourish enhanced physiology.

She smiled as she turned to face Achilles.

"Little Fatty has co far in life," she said.

...!

He had co far.

And truly, he had.

From the slums of a city where Advanced Humans barely acknowledged his existence, where daily survival required constant vigilance against beasts and thugs.

Achilles smiled as he closed his eyes, consciousness expanding to sense the wonders surrounding them.

He drank from his own glass.

At this ti, he could feel contentnt settling into his being with unfamiliar weight.

No Nar’Thyss to worry about...they couldn’t find this location even if they devoted significant resources to searching.

No threats requiring imdiate response, no enemies plotting attacks that demanded constant vigilance.

Just ti to enjoy what they’d built and increase power while deciding how to move forward!

The sensation was almost disconcerting in its novelty.

Rose’s voice echoed out again, carrying amusent.

"I saw our parents gossiping downstairs," she said, erald eyes twinkling with barely contained laughter. "They were discussing how they may want another official celebration for and you...a proper ceremony since they didn’t get to be part of any before everything beca complicated."

Achilles smiled at such words. He reached out and placed his hand around her waist.

"For you," he said quietly, "we can have any celebration they want. Multiple ceremonies if that makes them happy."

Rose nodded cutely at these words.

Steps echoed from behind them.

Achilles’s consciousness tracked them without turning, identifying each presence through the unique signatures of power they radiated.

The figures of the First Adrastia Emperor King through the Eighth walked toward them.

Adras and Thalsian looked toward Achilles with eyes blazing pride.

Adras ca forward first and spoke.

"Son," he began, gaze sweeping across Achilles and Rose with approval that needed no elaboration.

"What exactly is the plan now?"

"My daughter-in-law has told sothing about Foldless Ones? The Civilization of Life?" His eyes blazed with curiosity mixed with anticipation.

"When is all of that happening?"

The Adrastia Emperor Kings were not passive entities content to rest on accomplishnts already achieved.

They looked ahead to futures still unfolding, to challenges that would require coordination and planning across multiple scales of existence.

And Achilles was already planning those futures as he looked at the lineage of beings assembled before him.

He set his glass down on the balcony’s crystalline railing with deliberate care, the gesture buying monts to organize thoughts into explanations that would convey scope without overwhelming with unnecessary detail.

Because the scope was grand.

Unimaginably grand!
