The domain that had operated under established hierarchies for centuries now functioned according to principles that its original administrators would struggle to recognize!
In that past day, Achilles had spread out his Shadowborn Legions across the Sanctuary with systematic thoroughness that ensured complete coverage of every region.
The twilight beings found every single hidden Living Necrocracy that had embedded themselves within the population. Each discovered infiltrator was brought to Achilles, and he proceeded to assimilate more of these beings who accepted nothing but death as their fundantal philosophy, extracting their mories and capabilities!
But he had effectively secured the Sanctuary beyond simply eliminating known threats, and he began transforming the strongest Living Lives within it into Pri Necrocratic Lives through application of his unique authority.
He used the tier of Reverent Control for all of them apart from Mycelle, creating fanatics who looked toward him like an undeniable leader they would lay their lives down for without hesitation or doubt. Their devotion was absolute and unbreakable by any external influence, and they ford a core of a rapidly expanding force that would serve his erging Civilization.
He had been busy and accomplished much in the last day through relentless application of his capabilities, but all of it felt minor compared to the ti that he got to spend with Rose.
At this mont, his body within the Sea of Thalassara rose up from a radiant blue-gold bed surrounded by jeweled crystalline walls that ford private domain accessible only to him and his queen.
The space was elegantly appointed with carefully selected furnishings that combined aesthetic beauty with functional comfort, and ambient authority maintained perfect environntal conditions.
The astonishingly gorgeous figure of Rose could be seen covered by countless smooth sheets that concealed her transford physiology. She slept soundly with an expression of complete peace.
Achilles looked at her with an expression that softened from his usual analytical intensity.
Out of all the gains he’d made, out of all the power that he’d obtained through unprecedented assimilations and violations of cosmic principles, he still believed that the biggest prize he’d ever managed to pull off and keep was this amazing woman who had chosen to align her existence with his.
He smiled with genuine warmth that rarely showed in his interactions with others, and he leaned down to give her a gentle kiss on the forehead before floating out of the private domain.
After Rose had assimilated the Pri Living Existential Authority of Necrocratic Life, she obtained a version of the sa abilities he possessed, although her capabilities were slightly less potent since she was not a pioneer of the Way of Assimilation but rather soone who had integrated what he’d already discovered. Many of the terrifying abilities seed to be exclusive to him as original synthesizer despite her power having exploded upward.
And after feeling this exuberant strength flooding through her transford existence, she had proceeded to spend the next several hours testing things out with him in what started as experintal comparison of capabilities and evolved into sothing more intimate.
Their interaction eventually led to them being embroiled in battle within this private domain that combined genuine combat with other forms of intense engagent, and the confrontation ended in her loss as he maintained slight edge in capability!
She now slept soundly after pushing herself to exhaustion exploring the limits of what her new form could accomplish.
Achilles closed his eyes as he floated in the radiant blue seas of Thalassara. Schools of blue-gold fish swam around him, and the ambient peace of this carefully maintained sanctuary allowed his thoughts to settle into contemplative patterns.
As he thought about all that had happened in his current life, he recognized this was exactly what he was trying to protect through all his dangerous gambits and violations of established order. He wanted to protect that woman sleeping peacefully in the private domain behind him, and he wanted to ensure his lineage could flourish in this isolated sanctuary without facing extinction from forces that operated at scales they couldn’t adequately resist.
He knew that his current actions of leeching off and devouring the very authorities of two different Civilizations could invite terrifying enemies who would view his existence as a threat requiring imdiate elimination.
Well, not could invite such attention but were definitely attracting notice from beings whose power exceeded anything he could currently handle, and he had to be extrely careful about what ca next.
Even though the leaders of these Civilizations were supposedly slumbering or collapsed after mutual annihilation during, all of them were still trying to recover enough power to make their return to full capability. If such terrifying beings ever moved against him directly before he fully possessed the strength to go against entities bearing the distinction of THE, things could turn out catastrophically bad for everything he valued.
So he had to prepare with thoroughness that would give him the maximum advantage when the inevitable confrontations arrived.
One of the ways he was preparing involved maintaining a duplicate body outside in The Void as he continued to assimilate it endlessly, pushing to see just how high he could integrate this particular authority into his existence before Existential Corruption began creeping back.
So far the corruption was only rising slowly despite massive quantities being processed, and even then the accumulated taint was being cleansed and purified by the authority of the Civilizations that he was inadvertently building!
Which brought him to the next critical step in his preparation, and he looked out into the radiant blue sea with expression that combined determination and cold calculation about what must be done.

He called out grandly with a voice that carried across dinsional layers, and he officially proceeded to establish the Civilization of Necrocratic Life. The authority surrounding him responded to his declaration with enthusiasm!

Yes, because the enemies that he had made through his violations were bound to be so terrifyingly powerful that conventional preparation would prove insufficient, he had to move with speed that would surprise opponents expecting gradual developnt.
He would establish his Civilization officially now as foundation for aggressive expansion, and his next move would not be passively waiting for forces of Living Necrocracies to receive news about him and organize a coordinated response.
He was already preparing Mycelle and others of his newly transford Legions for departure from this Sanctuary of Life, planning to branch out toward other Sanctuaries where the Primordial Civilization of Life maintained presence. But more audaciously, he intended to target the Veiled Necrocratic Sanctuaries that he knew the locations of from mories extracted during assimilations of the Living Necrocracies, and he would strike at enemy strongholds before they could properly organize!
He had to move quickly with relentless aggression that would keep opponents off-balance, because conquest did not wait for anyone to feel adequately prepared, and the enemies coming for him would not play fair or show rcy when they arrived with overwhelming force!
