Inside the county jail, the candles on both sides of the corridor flickered precariously, the dim light casting eerie shadows on the dilapidated and old cells.

From deep within the prison ca cries of pain, the voices of several n, chilling to the bone.

"You bastards, you really have so nerve!"

"You even dared to make a move against the old master of the Lu Family; you’re tired of living!"

"You fools, don’t you know the old master of the Lu Family is Mr. Ceng’s uncle?"

"Mr. Ceng instructed the two brothers to stay awake tonight and properly take care of you useless trash."

"Quick, tell us who ordered you to assassinate the old master of the Lu Family. Speak up, and you won’t have to endure this suffering!"

In a sowhat simple-looking cell, two young governnt officials were present.

Both of them held short whips, diligently flogging the n tied up in front.

The tied-up strong n looked grueso, with skin and flesh exposed, bloodstained, with blood marks on their faces.

"Damn it, will you speak or not!"

"Forget it, let’s take a break and deal with you properly later."

The two young officials seed exhausted from the beating.

Seeing the n still silent, they walked out of the cell together and sat down at a decaying wooden table, drinking from the water on the table.

A breeze blew through, extinguishing most of the candles along the corridor.

Only a few candles remained, making the already dim prison even darker.

Before the two young officials could react, their eyes went dark, and they fell unconscious.

A tall, imposing figure walked towards the cell where the beaten n were held.

And those n, their mouths stuffed with thick rags, were silently celebrating the end of the flogging.

Suddenly, a handso tall man appeared before them, removing the rags from their mouths.

The strong man tied in the middle looked puzzled, unsure who the person in front of him was, but felt a sense of foreboding and called out loudly.

"Who the hell are you!"

"Hey, you two little punks outside, soone’s here."

"I’m Lu Xuan, son of Lu Jiahe!"

"You..."

The three strong n instantly beca terrified after hearing this, looking at the tall man with eyes as if they had seen a ghost.

Lu Xuan stared at them coldly, as if looking at dead n.

The strong man in the middle saw Lu Xuan’s youthful appearance, and his fear quickly vanished, replaced by a disdainful laugh.

"Hehehe!"

"So, you’re the son of that old guy Lu Jiahe. What, you think a brat like you can get us to spill?"

"Physical pain can’t extract answers, so you’ll have to taste the agony within!"

Lu Xuan reached out with his large hand, pressing it on the strong man’s head. His terrifying inner qi ravaged through the strong man’s body.

"Ah!"

In less than half an incense stick’s ti, Lu Xuan glanced at the corpses of the n he had torn apart with his inner qi, then turned and walked out without looking back.

Because Lu Xuan had already gotten the answer he wanted.

The Huang Family!

In Huang Yangping’s room, three people were gathered inside, with an elderly man standing guard outside. He was the butler of the Huang Estate.

The three inside were Huang Yangping, Jia Sheng, and Huang Yangping’s son, Huang Wen!

"Brother-in-law, what do we do now!"

"Those fools were captured; I’m worried they’ll expose ."

Jia Sheng paced back and forth in the room, evidently anxious.

Huang Yangping sat calmly on a chair, unaffected by Jia Sheng’s words.

Seeing Huang Yangping’s indifferent deanor, Jia Sheng quickly pleaded, "Brother-in-law, you can’t leave hanging!"

Huang Yangping, frustrated with Jia Sheng’s stupidity, couldn’t help but scold.

"Useless!"

"They say it’s you, then it’s you; what’s the evidence? You just don’t admit it!"

"Oh, right, luckily I didn’t leave anything behind with those fools."

Huang Yangping’s words suddenly enlightened Jia Sheng.

Disappointed, Huang Yangping continued, "Is Lu Jiahe dead?"

"Not dead!"

"That old guy, truly lucky, the poison I prepared didn’t kill him!"

Thinking about it, Jia Sheng felt puzzled.

By logic, the poison acquired from rare venomous snakes should be incurable.

Yet, according to news from the Lu Residence, that old guy Lu Jiahe was fine.

The room fell silent again until Jia Sheng couldn’t sit still.

Finally, Huang Yangping spoke, "Since that old guy Lu Jiahe didn’t die, he will surely be wary, making it tough next ti."

"Since that’s the case, then target his sons; let that old guy taste the pain of losing them."

"Right, brother-in-law is correct; I’ll get it arranged."

Jia Sheng’s crafty features broke into a smile, seemingly agreeing with Huang Yangping’s idea.

Huang Yangping nodded, then gently spoke to the young man beside him, "Wen’er, you’re still injured. You should go back to your room and assist your uncle in the coming days!"

"Yes, father!"

Bang!

The door suddenly was smashed open by a body and fell heavily to the ground.

Huang Yangping looked at the body on the ground, his eyes showing disbelief.

Because, the body on the ground was the Huang Estate’s butler.

At this mont, lying on the ground, the butler’s chest was half-caved in, with a massive footprint on his chest.

Lu Xuan walked in from outside, his cold gaze sweeping across the three people in the room.

He had just hurried over from the Jia Family. Not finding Jia Sheng there, Lu Xuan rushed to the Huang Family.

Without speaking, Lu Xuan glanced at the so-called Qingyun County magistrate, Huang Yangping, as though looking at a dead person.

Qingyun County magistrate?

"How dare you!"

"Who are you!"

"Daring to trespass into a governnt official’s estate!"

"This official sees you have a death wish!"

"n!"

Huang Yangping unleashed the aura of a Martial Artist at the Bone Marrow Refining Realm, watching Lu Xuan outside warily.

What’s wrong with him, a Bone Marrow Refining Realm martial artist, feeling scared.

Lu Xuan didn’t answer Huang Yangping’s question; he moved like a ghost right before him!

In Huang Yangping’s horrified gaze, Lu Xuan’s large hand pressed on his head, inner qi surged from the palm, shredding Huang Yangping’s internal organs.

Soon after, Lu Xuan repeated the process with the other two in the room, leaving as a shadow, disappearing into the sky.
