The sound of the Bell rang out in the cavern. The mont it rang, the invisible sound waves condensed into a mass and rushed toward Shen Bai.
The sound waves could disturb one’s mind, but they had no effect on Shen Bai.
Shen Bai raised the Longsword in his right hand. With the blessing of the Mystic Heart Spell, the Bell’s attack had no effect on him.
On the blood-red Longsword, Sword Qi pulsed with a brilliant, righteous aura, contained but not yet released.

Then, the Sword Qi continued onward, its montum unabated, and plunged into the humanoid aberration’s chest.
A roaring boom echoed out, and the entire cavern began to shake violently.
Nauseating black smoke billowed from the humanoid aberration, spreading out from the wound in its chest.
In the blink of an eye, the humanoid aberration before them was like ice scorched by fire. It dissolved into a cloud of black smoke and vanished in an instant.
Three wisps of Evil Qi appeared and were collected by Shen Bai.
This was the most he had ever obtained at once, proving that the humanoid aberration had been powerful enough to provide three wisps of Evil Qi.
But there was no joy in Shen Bai’s eyes. Instead, he sighed with considerable regret.
