As soon as he stepped into the Primordial Magnetic Divine Mountain, Chen Sheng felt the scenery before his eyes suddenly transform.
The majestic mountains he had observed from afar now turned into a series of magnificent peaks arranged in a harmonious manner, each shrouded in swirling clouds and mist.
Amidst the depths of the mist, the flying eaves and curved corners of pavilions and towers vaguely appeared, with countless restriction runes flickering and shifting among the clouds, emitting an indistinct oppression, as if the entire Divine Mountain was enveloped in an invisible net.
Master Hualong pointed to a peak ahead, where colorful feathered spirit birds perched, and laughed:
"That is Chonglou Peak, the main peak of the Talisman Hall. Eight thousand years ago, Ancestor Zhong Lou erged, a master of the Talisman Hall who achieved Great Success, creating a path of cultivation up to Quasi-Tier Five. This peak is nad in his honor."
He then gestured toward another peak surrounded by starlight:
"That is Inference Star Peak, the foundation of the Array Hall. Three thousand years ago, the Grand Ancestor Master integrated the principles of celestial movent into the arrays, forcefully creating a new lineage, granting Inference Star Peak its current status."
Following his direction, Chen Sheng saw talisman light occasionally shooting up from Chonglou Peak, while Inference Star Peak was enveloped in a faint starlight, with mist drifting along the trajectories of stars, evidently concealing intricate star arrays.
He nodded from ti to ti, pondering:
"Indeed, within the Daoist Sect, all paths thrive—sword cultivation, body cultivation, magic cultivation, and even various side skills have their inheritances. My talents in Sword Dao, Array Dao, Alchemy Dao, and Artifact Dao will surely be fully nurtured here."
The two flew for another incense stick’s ti when three particularly tall Divine Peaks appeared ahead, their bodies piercing the clouds, surrounded by five-colored auroras, faintly resonating with the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi.
Master Hualong’s tone beca solemn:
"These three are the core of our Daoist Sect—Jiuxiao Peak, Primordial Peak, and Primordial Magnetic Peak, each hosting a main hall, commanding all sect affairs."
"Currently, it is Han Lou True Monarch’s turn at the Primordial Magnetic Peak Main Hall. He is a Grandmaster of the Alchemy lineage, and since Fellow Daoist is entering the sect through Alchemy Dao, it’s truly fortuitous."
Chen Sheng nodded, a look of gratitude appearing on his face.
In fact, this wasn’t luck; he had inquired beforehand about which True Monarch was on duty and deliberately displayed his identity as a Tier Three Middle Grade Alchemy Grandmaster to gain entry into the core of the Daoist Sect.
If any of the other three True Monarchs had been on duty, Chen Sheng would have showcased skills in arrays, artifact refining, and such.
Along the way, the restrictions around beca more concentrated, with vibrant runes weaving into a net in the void, ready to unleash astonishing might at the slightest touch.
But when the dragon-shaped Jade Order in Master Hualong’s hand lit up, the restrictions retreated like a tide, clearing a golden avenue ahead, allowing unobstructed passage.
Upon reaching the main hall of Primordial Magnetic Peak, a cultivator in gray robes was waiting outside.
This person was slightly chubby, with a kind face, emitting the aura of a Mid-stage Golden Core.
Master Hualong introduced with a smile:
"Here is Fellow Daoist Tingyu, a newly inducted Tier Three Middle Grade Alchemy Grandmaster, not yet one hundred and fifty years old. I specifically brought him to pay respects to the True Monarch."
"And this is Steward Elder Master De Ming."
Upon hearing Chen Sheng’s identity and age, Master De Ming’s eyes flashed with surprise, then he showed a warm smile:
"It’s truly fate, as I too originally belonged to the Dan Vein, but lacking in talent, I switched to the Artifact Vein, and now have just reached the threshold of Tier Three Lower Grade."
"For soone so young to achieve such attainnt, we must draw closer in the future, so that I might learn so Alchemy Dao insights from you."
"Fellow Daoist De Ming, you’re too kind." Sensing the goodwill in his words, Chen Sheng hurriedly clasped his hands in response, "I’ll be relying on your guidance in the future."
After so brief pleasantries, Master De Ming laughed and said:
"I will now announce your presence, for the True Monarch has been in quite a good mood recently, and with such talents arriving, he’ll surely be even happier."
This was both a truth and a suggestion—the timing to seek an audience was optimal.
Chen Sheng and Master Hualong promptly clasped their hands: "Thank you, Fellow Daoist."
Monts later, Master De Ming briskly walked out from the hall’s interior, lightly nodding to both: "The True Monarch invites you in."
With that, he led them to a splendid door engraved with a dragon and phoenix auspiciously entwined.
"Enter."
A voice, ethereal like heavenly music, ca from within the door. Before the words faded, the heavy door slowly opened.
An indescribable aura spread from the hall, perfectly restrained so as not to feel oppressive, instead imparting a sense of peace.
Master Hualong led the way inside, with Chen Sheng following closely.
At the center of the hall, seated on a jade throne, was a young Daoist.
His handso features seed almost otherworldly, dressed in a moon white Daoist robe, exuding no discernible aura yet giving an ethereal impression.
His form seed completely rged with the surrounding void—both as immovable as a towering mountain and as elusive as a particle of dust; clearly before one’s eyes, yet giving the sensation of being far away.
Chen Sheng was inwardly astonished:
"Is this the Divine Technique of a Nascent Soul True Monarch? Truly unfathomable."
"Tingyu pays respects to the True Monarch."
Chen Sheng composed himself, bowing respectfully.
Han Lou True Monarch raised his eyes, with a warm smile:
"I heard that the young friend is a Tier Three Middle Grade Alchemy Grandmaster; could you perhaps perform a demonstration?"
After a slight hesitation, Chen Sheng replied: "I ca in haste and didn’t bring alchemy materials with ."
Han Lou True Monarch laughed heartily, waving his hand:
"No matter."
"Young friend, just ntion the Pill Formulas you excel at, and the required materials, fire chamber, and furnace will all be provided by the Daoist Sect."
Hearing this, Chen Sheng didn’t hesitate any longer—a Nascent Soul True Monarch wouldn’t covet his Pill Formulas. He clearly announced the Pill Formula for the Profound Essence Barrier-Breaking Pill.
