No sooner had Daniel settled into the Lord’s Manor than a blood-red world announcent resounded across the entire world of Stellar.

[The six races—beastfolk, dwarves, elves, goblins, Bimon, and mammoths—have declared the formation of the "Sixfold Alliance" and officially declared war on the Human Empire!]

"The humans know no justice. They crossed our borders, burned our city-states, slaughtered our people, and seized our lands. Their hands are drenched in blood!"
"Today, our six races stand shoulder to shoulder. We seek not conquest, but only the return of all that was taken from its rightful owners!"
"The tyranny of humankind shall fall. Their walls shall crumble. Their rule shall co to an end. By blood and blade, we swear to fight until the final shadow has faded."
[Server-Wide Announcent: A major version event has now begun! Players who participate in this event may earn massive rewards! All players, prepare yourselves!]
The announcent rang out three tis in succession. Crimson text flashed before every player’s eyes, like a declaration of war written in blood.
The World Channel instantly exploded.
"Another version storyline? Why is it advancing so fast?!"
"By the gods, I’m only level twenty and I already have to take part in a major version event?"
"I don’t think this has anything to do with our levels. It’s because soone has already reached that stage! Faustus is just completely insane!"
"This feels a little rough. One against six? That’s a headache."
"What’s there to be afraid of? During the Battle of Desperation, Faustus slaughtered hundreds of millions of players and tens of billions of monsters all by himself! How could these non-human races be any stronger?"
"You’re underestimating them. All six major races have huge numbers of legendary-grade powerhouses! Did that secret realm even have legendary-grade enemies?"
"Hiss... if that’s true, then this really is huge."
"It’s definitely a serious challenge, but still! There’s no way players are going to be the main force in a war on this scale... unless you’re Faustus."
"Uh... fair point!"
Standing atop the high platform of the Lord’s Manor, Daniel gazed toward the roiling storm clouds gathering in the northern sky.
A faint smile curved at his lips.
With the main armies of the non-human races concentrated in the north, this was actually good news for him.
That vast stretch of the Ironhamr Plains would beco his hunting ground.
Daniel was not at all surprised by the Sixfold Alliance’s declaration of war.
Scouts from the non-human races had already been making restless moves along the border. Now that their army stood beneath Everwinter City, all they had done was tear away the final veil.
War had only ever been a matter of ti.
He took his seat at the head of the hall, pondered for a mont, then opened the mission editor.
His fingers traced one command after another through the air, every parater weighed and reconsidered again and again.
A mont later, he confird the release.
A golden announcent burst before the eyes of every player in World Zone 616.
[World Zone 616 Announcent: Player "Faustus" has issued the world quest "War Edict"! Pay 100 copper coins to qualify for the quest!]

The announcent sounded three tis in a row.
The World Channel erupted once more.
"By the gods! Faustus is making his move!"
"Take it! Take it! Take it! If Faustus is involved, you can accept it with your eyes closed!"
"Exactly! The big guy gets the at, and if we’re lucky, we can at least drink so soup!"
Countless players rushed to pay the copper coins and sign up, not even bothering to read the quest details first.
Only after a line of golden text appeared in their quest logs did they finally see the full contents of the War Edict.

At the sa ti, the system notifications at Daniel’s ear poured down like a torrential storm.

The players’ enthusiasm for purchasing quest qualification was unbelievably high.
Daniel glanced at his wealth value. In just a few monts, it had already broken through the ten-billion mark.
And the number was still climbing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Daniel muted the notifications and summoned all the high-ranking commanders of his legions.
Inside the council hall, candlelight stretched every shadow long across the floor.
Hudson, Victor, Alan, Aliris... every face was solemn and resolute.
Daniel briefly inford them of the Sixfold Alliance’s declaration of war.
The hall fell silent for a mont, then was quickly engulfed by a heavy, suppressed fighting spirit.
Hudson was the first to rise, his voice steady as iron.
"My lord duke, the Polaris Legion currently numbers eleven million soldiers, while the Doom Legion has fifty-five million. We possess one epic-grade legion, one legendary-grade legion, and countless elite forces. That strength is enough to deal with any non-human race."
Daniel nodded, his gaze sweeping across every person present.
"The main forces of the non-human races are currently tied down at the northern fortress, locked in confrontation with the imperial army."
His voice was not loud, yet every word carried clearly to everyone in the chamber.
"Our target... is the beastfolk main city—Everfrost!"
Victor’s eyes lit up.
"The beastfolk have transferred all of their elite forces to the northern front. Everfrost must be badly undermanned right now."
"If we can take it in one stroke, not only will we relieve the Empire’s pressure, we’ll also drive a nail into this plain."
"Exactly."
Daniel rose to his feet and walked to the enormous map hanging on the wall, then pressed a finger against the location marked Everfrost.
"You are to draft a detailed battle plan centered around this main city. Within one day, I want to see a complete proposal."
"Yes, sir!"
Everyone answered in unison.
Daniel turned back, his gaze sweeping over every face once more.
Candlelight danced in his eyes, as though so ancient fla were burning there.
"The non-human races have never abandoned their desire to destroy our human kind!"
His voice was low, but full of force.
"It is our duty to fight for the protection of our people."
At once, every commander in the hall rose to their feet and placed a clenched fist over the chest.
"For humanity!"

One day later.
Outside Polaris City, a dark mass of troops stretched to the horizon.
Sixty-five million NPC warriors stood in formation, their armor gleaming with a cold tallic sheen beneath the morning light.
Behind them stood millions of ordinary players. So rode warhorses, so led hunting hounds, so carried giant bows nearly as tall as they were, and so leaned on rune-inlaid staves.
The sa battle intent burned in every pair of eyes.
Standing atop the city wall, Daniel looked down upon this iron tide that he had built with his own hands.
"Move out."
The grand army began its march.
The road from Polaris City to Everfrost turned out to be unexpectedly smooth.
The beastfolk had clearly adopted a scorched-earth and defensive consolidation strategy, pulling all scattered populations and military forces back into their main city.
Along the way, apart from scattered wild beasts and routed scouts, they encountered no resistance of any aningful scale.
Only after half a day’s march did the outline of Everfrost appear on the horizon.
