"No, we can't just walk away. Look at the Pokémon in this forest!" Feng Che pointed toward the clusters of Bug-types frozen to the ground. "Even if we dodge the mountain ourselves, how could we live with the guilt of letting these innocent lives perish?"

Bugsy let out a long sigh, his shoulders slumping. "You're right. Even if I escaped, my conscience wouldn't let rest."

"Everyone, co forth!"

With a sweep of his hand, Feng Che released his entire team. "Our goal is to shatter that ice mountain in the sky. It's a massive risk, but I need you all to stand with . There are countless lives down here depending on us. Use your absolute strongest attacks—let's do this together!"

Seeing the unwavering determination in his Pokémon's eyes, a surge of pride and warmth washed over Feng Che.

"Venusaur, use Grassy Terrain, then charge Solar Beam!" "Zeraora, prep Plasma Fists and aim exactly where Venusaur's beam hits!" "Ditto, split and transform into Zeraora! Double the Plasma Fists!" "Sirfetch'd (Farfetch'd), Scyther—use Slash!" "Aerodactyl, Gyarados, use Hyper Beam!" "Frogadier, Water Shuriken!" "Torracat, Vulpix, use Flathrower to thaw the frozen Pokémon on the ground—save as many as you can!" "Corvisquire, Brave Bird!"

Feng Che's commands rang out in rapid succession.

"I'm with you! Go, my team!" Bugsy released his Scizor, Vespiquen, Heracross, Pinsir, Yanga, and Ninjask, directing them to assist in the rescue operation on the forest floor.

Venusaur erupted with a brilliant green radiance, covering the forest in a lush Grassy Terrain. The warmth began to seep into the ice blocks, reviving the trapped Bug-types. They began to struggle free, joining Torracat and Vulpix to rescue their kin.

High above, Venusaur fired five consecutive Solar Beams. Gyarados and Aerodactyl followed suit, their thick Hyper Beams screaming through the air.

BOOM! BOOM!

The massive ice mountain shuddered, a deep, jagged fissure snaking across its surface.

"It's working! Zeraora, go!"

Ditto split into two clones, both transforming into the Mythical Zeraora. They leaped high into the air, mirroring the original's movents as they rained down ten thousand golden fist-prints. Golden arcs of electricity spider-webbed across the glacier. The cracking sounds grew louder as the fissure widened, though the effort exhausted the clones, causing them to dissolve back into a limp, tired Ditto.

Corvisquire coated itself in an aerial armor, slamming into the glacier with a devastating Brave Bird, further destabilizing the mass. But it wasn't enough—the mountain was still descending.

Farfetch'd, having used Swords Dance and Focus Energy, stood before Feng Che. Feng Che handed the duck a bottle of high-grade sake. "It's up to you now, buddy. We can't let this forest die."

The duck grabbed the bottle, downed it in several gulps, and smashed it against the ground. Black aura billowed from its body as Fighting-type energy surged into its leek, which grew to a staggering three ters in length.

[Farfetch'd: BRING IT ON!]

With every ounce of its strength, it cleaved at the fissure. The strike was so heavy it drained the duck's stamina instantly, yet it refused to let go. It raised the leek again, striking a second ti. The crack deepened, but the mountain held.

"That's enough! You've done great, don't force it!" Feng Che shouted.

The surrounding wild Pokémon let out a collective cry, as if cheering for the duck. Sensing a final surge of power, Farfetch'd unleashed one last, earth-shaking strike.

CRACK!

The fracture spread across the entire mountain. But before it could fully shatter, a green streak blurred past, executing a Brave Bird of its own. It was Rowlet, finally awake, piercing through the heart of the glacier like an arrow.

The mountain disintegrated into fine snow and ice shards.

Farfetch'd almost spat out a mouthful of blood in frustration. [Farfetch'd: Are you kidding ? My big mont... stolen by the sleepy kid?!]

Enraged and emotional, a brilliant white light suddenly enveloped the duck. It had landed its three critical hits.

"..." Feng Che was speechless. "It actually evolved because it was too angry?"

Rowlet tumbled from the sky back into Feng Che's arms, imdiately falling back into a deep sleep.

Suddenly, a tinkling, bell-like laughter echoed through the clearing. Feng Che looked up to see a small, green, fairy-like Pokémon: Celebi.

The Voice of the Forest fluttered down, sprinkling green stardust over Feng Che's Pokémon to restore them. A sphere of green light then sank into the back of Feng Che's hand. He felt a sudden, profound connection to the world—he could understand the hearts of the Pokémon around him.

"This is... the Viridian Power?"

"Thank you, brave trainer," Celebi's voice echoed in his mind. "This is the forest's gift for standing tall when the world grew cold. Treasure this power."

"Wait, Celebi!" Feng Che called out before it could vanish into a ti-ripple. "My Rowlet... he sleeps constantly. Can you tell what's wrong with him?"

Celebi placed a small hand on the owl's forehead. After a mont, it shook its head. "He is healthier than any Grass-type I've seen. He is overflowing with Grass-type Origin. I cannot 'fix' what isn't broken. Seek out the Shaymin of the Gardenia family in Sinnoh. It is a master of life-energy; perhaps it can guide him."

Celebi then vanished into the folds of ti.

"Sinnoh again," Feng Che mused. "First the moon islands for the sleep, now Shaymin. I definitely have to go there."

He turned to his newly evolved Sirfetch'd. It now had white feathers and a thick, unibrow-like mark. It wielded a sturdy leek lance and a leafy shield.

Pokémon: Sirfetch'd Potential: Epic (Cyan) Level: 55 Type: Fighting Evaluation: A unique warrior that grows stronger the more it drinks. Note: Currently the highest-level Pokémon in the team (Gym Leader Tier).

"Level 55... you can probably take on a Pseudo-Elite now," Feng Che said, satisfied.

He recalled his team to let them rest. But just as he turned to leave, a swarm of Beedrill descended from the canopy....
