Leon abruptly stopped. The buffalo-headed monster didn’t.

Its fist slamd directly into Leon’s chest, sending him flying backward. Yet Leon’s eyes remained fixed on the translucent panel before him.

A look of excitent flashed across his face.
The next mont, he crashed into the cavern wall.

Leon’s eyes widened. At the sa ti, the thod of casting the spell flowed into his mind as naturally as breathing, as though he had known it his entire life.
"The defense boost isn’t that great compared to the ice shield, but 50% damage?" His heartbeat quickened. "My current Damage stat is 72. With a 50% increase, that would make it 108. That’s equivalent to the damage of a B-Class Knight."
Excitent surged through him, his eyes sparkling.
The Frost Monarch’s Blade vanished into his storage panel.
"The sword is definitely stronger overall." Leon clenched his fist. "But this new spell... I should give it a try."
Imdiately, he focused on the flow of Qi through his ridians according to the newly acquired technique.
"Ice Layer." The mont the words left his mouth, a layer of crystalline ice rapidly spread across his fist. The ice wasn’t thick like a shield.
Instead, it wrapped tightly around his hand like a second skin.
Leon flexed his fingers. A sense of power instantly filled him. He glanced at his ice-covered fist before lifting his gaze toward the charging buffalo-headed monster.
"You like punching, right?"
A savage smile appeared on his face as he rolled his shoulders. "Let’s see how your punches compare to mine."
The next mont, Leon shot forward once again.
The buffalo-headed monster closed the distance as well.
Both of them drew back their right fists.

Their fists shot forward simultaneously.

A loud bang echoed, a light shockwave erupting.

Before he could press his advantage, two more monsters charged toward him.
One was an elite goblin with a single cyclopean eye.
The other was a bizarre beast with two horse-like heads growing from the sa body.
But neither managed to get close. Before they could even touch his shadow...

The Raging Inferno’s Wings streaked through the air. Two invisible flashes tore across the battlefield. The next instant, both monsters froze. Then blood erupted from their heads.
The daggers had pierced straight through their skulls.
Their lifeless bodies crashed heavily onto the ground.
Leon didn’t even spare them a glance. His attention remained fixed on the buffalo-headed monster.
The creature had just managed to climb back to its feet. Leon imdiately closed the distance.

His ice-covered fist shot upward in a vicious uppercut. The punch slamd directly into the monster’s chin.
A loud crack echoed through the cavern. The creature’s feet left the ground instantly. Its enormous body was launched backward like a ragdoll, helplessly tumbling through the air.
Suddenly, every monster froze in place.
The only things still moving were the Raging Inferno’s Wings. The invisible daggers continued darting through the battlefield, piercing monsters left and right.
Then...
The entire horde erupted.
"GRAAAHHHH!"
"ROOOAAARRR!"
The monsters charged with even greater ferocity than before.
Thud!
Thud!
Thud!
Thousands of heavy footsteps pounded against the ground. The entire cavern shook violently beneath the stampede. Dust and small fragnts of stone rained down from above.
Yet Leon didn’t retreat. A layer of crystalline ice wrapped around both of his fists.
An orc broke through the crowd and reached Leon before others could, its battle hamr already swinging forward.
But Leon was faster.
BAM!
His punch slamd into the monster’s ribs.
A sickening crack echoed through the cavern. The orc’s body bent violently before it was blasted away like a cannonball, crashing through several monsters before disappearing into the horde.
Another creature rushed in before the others could reach him.
A small minotaur.
BAM!
Leon threw another punch.
The monster suffered the sa fate.
Its body was launched into the distance, bowling through countless monsters along the way.
Then the true chaos began.
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
Leon punched relentlessly, each strike carrying enough force to send monsters flying.
From a distance, it looked less like a battle and more like artillery fire. The swarm desperately tried to overwhelm him through sheer numbers. But they couldn’t.
If Leon had been fighting alone, he might have eventually been buried beneath the endless tide.
The real problem was the Raging Inferno’s Wings.
Invisible.
Unpredictable.
Deadly.
The twin daggers tore through the battlefield like ruthless predators. Wherever they passed, monsters collapsed.
Heads were decapitated.
Skulls were pierced.
Blood sprayed through the air.
They were like tigers unleashed upon a flock of sheep. One monster fell. Then another. Then another.
Yet strangely...
Their numbers didn’t seem to be decreasing.
Leon noticed it. But he didn’t dwell on it. His entire focus remained on the battle.

His eyes glead with anticipation. ’Let’s see if I can unlock another spell.’
Ti continued to pass as monsters fell one after another. Minutes turned into hours.
Yet the battle showed no signs of ending.
Leon remained at the center of the endless slaughter, his fists and invisible daggers relentlessly tearing through the horde.
Finally, after three hours and forty minutes of nonstop combat, the notifications he had been waiting for appeared before him.
