"It’s ti to go back."
Leon had spent months in this place. He climbed all the way to the top of Hell’s Pool, crossing each level one by one. The mont his feet touched the cliff at the summit, the air rippled before him, and a gate slowly materialized.
Leon turned around and looked at Hell’s Pool one last ti.
"Thanks for making stronger... and for the weapons." His voice was soft, as though he were speaking to the lingering soul that supposedly resided within this place. Then he turned around and stepped into the gate.
Unbeknownst to him, a figure had been watching from afar the entire ti. It was none other than the white serpent in her human form — the sa woman who had helped Leon and the others escape the Hidden Realm.
At the mont, her brows were tightly furrowed. "Damn you, Renata," she hissed through gritted teeth. "Don’t you dare hog Master before ."
A monster suddenly appeared behind her, preparing to pounce. But her hand shot backward instantly.
Boom!
The creature exploded into chunks of frozen flesh and blood. She didn’t even bother looking at it.
Clearly, she was in a terrible mood.
anwhile, Leon erged from the other side of the gate.
The mont he did...
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
A female scream echoed from directly behind him. Before Leon could even react, a fireball slamd into his back.
Boom!
The impact blasted him several ters away.
"Pervert!" the sa female voice shouted furiously.
The flas didn’t harm Leon in the slightest, but the force behind the attack was still enough to send him flying.
Leon slowly climbed to his feet. "Damn it. Who let this madwoman out of the house?" he cursed. "Who is she calling a pervert?" He was just about to march over and give her a piece of his mind when a cool breeze brushed past his body.
Leon froze. Slowly... Very slowly...
He looked down. Instantly, every trace of anger vanished. In its place remained only pure, overwhelming embarrassnt.
Because...
He wasn’t wearing any clothes.
"Damn it. I completely forgot that my clothes had turned into ashes.’ He nearly cried inwardly.
"Scarface." He whispered instantly.
Imdiately, the black mask erged from his storage panel. He grabbed it in one swift motion and attached it to his face. Dark attire rapidly spread across his body, the mask covering his face.
anwhile, the owner of the voice was already on the move again. She appeared to be a young woman carrying several bags of groceries, likely returning from a shopping trip.
The bags were now lying on the ground. In her hand was a wand pointed directly at Leon.
She began chanting.
Several blazing spheres of fire appeared around her, each one radiating intense heat.
By then, Leon was fully covered by the Scarface armor.
The fireballs shot toward him. Leon didn’t dodge. He didn’t prepare to defend himself either. Instead, he spread his arms wide as if he were welcoming an old friend.
Boom!

Boom!
The fireballs exploded one after another upon impact. But this ti, Leon didn’t move an inch. Instead, system notifications appeared before him.
[You have absorbed Fire Energy.]
[You have absorbed Fire Energy.]
[You have absorbed Fire Energy.]
Leon’s eyes lit up. A grin spread across his face. "That’s right! I’m a pervert! So what?" he shouted shalessly. Then he pointed at her. "If you’ve got what it takes, hit with more of those fireballs!" He declared. ’Yeah. Feed so more of those. Go ahead.’
The woman was stunned for a mont. Then her expression darkened, as though she had been pushed beyond the limits of her patience. She raised her hand sharply.
One fiery lance materialized in the air.
Then another.
And another.
Soon, five blazing lances hovered around her, spinning rapidly. Smoke hissed from their razor-sharp tips as they all pointed directly at Leon.
Then she thrust her hand forward. The lances shot out.
Leon narrowed his eyes. ’Those are powerful.’ Then he chuckled the next mont. ’Let’s see how much I can take.’ He spread his arms wide just like before.
He still believed he could simply absorb the fire.
Bam!

Bam!
Bam!
Bam!
All five lances struck him head-on. A triumphant smile imdiately appeared on the woman’s face.
Only to freeze the next second.
Leon had indeed absorbed all the fire energy.
But the spinning force behind the attacks was another matter entirely. Five grueso wounds tore open across his chest. Blood splattered onto the ground.
Yet that wasn’t what shocked the woman.
It was what happened next.
The wounds began healing. Imdiately.
Right before her eyes.
The torn flesh wriggled and reconnected. Blood stopped flowing. The damaged skin rapidly restored itself as though ti itself was reversing.
The woman staggered back in disbelief.
"W-What..." Her voice trembled. "What are you?"
Leon looked down at his chest and nodded in satisfaction. Then he looked back at her.
"Human, of course." He paused before grinning. "But can you keep throwing those fireballs?"
The woman stared at him as if she were looking at a monster wearing human skin. A mont later, she spun on her heels and bolted away without another word. "What the hell is that thing?"
Leon blinked. Then he scratched his cheek helplessly. "I didn’t scare her that much, did I?"
Shaking his head, he turned around and started running toward his ho. It didn’t take long for him to arrive.
He stepped inside and was about to head toward his room. But then he noticed sothing strange. The house was completely silent. No one was there. No food had been prepared.
A sense of unease imdiately crept into his heart.
Without wasting another second, Leon rushed into his room. He removed the Scarface mask and quickly changed into a fresh set of clothes. The mont he finished, he turned around and was about to head back outside.
But, just then...
Buzz!
Buzz!
Buzz!
His phone suddenly buzzed with notification sounds.
Leon frowned and pulled it out. The mont he read the ssage on the screen, his expression darkened instantly. A chilling aura spread from his body.
’Brother... I’m in danger. Please save . Bowen Estate.’
