A senior brother with an honest face guided Chu Fan down several bluestone paths to Cao Feng’s residence.

It was a rather quiet and secluded courtyard.

Before he even drew near, he could already hear shouts coming from within the courtyard.

He saw Cao Feng sitting in a chair, holding a cup of tea, his brows tightly furrowed as he watched a boy of about thirteen or fourteen practice the Twelve Forms Fist.

The boy’s movents were sowhat flamboyant; he had only grasped the form, not its essence, and had clearly failed to comprehend the true aning of the Fist Technique.

Yet, the way his blood and qi surged as he threw his punches made even Chu Fan inwardly surprised.

Two middle-aged n in brocade robes stood to the side, their auras profound. They were also frowning as they watched the boy practice.

The mont Cao Feng caught sight of Chu Fan, his tightly knitted brows relaxed, and a smile appeared on his face.

He quickly waved him over. "Chu Fan! Perfect timing! Co over here and help teach this brat... I can’t stand teaching him anymore. He’s driving absolutely mad!"

Hearing Cao Feng’s words, the boy stopped his movents and turned his head to look at Chu Fan.

His face instantly flushed red with defiance. "He’s Chu Fan? Second Uncle, you want soone who’s been in the Seven Stars Gang for less than two months to teach ?"

"When I started my cultivation, he was probably still playing in the mud sowhere!"

"Xingxuan! Show so respect!" one of the middle-aged n at the side chided in a deep voice.

But the boy just curled his lip, his expression still one of arrogance and defiance.

Cao Feng shook his head helplessly. "This kid’s na is Li Xingxuan. He’s that girl Qingxue’s younger brother. He’s incredibly arrogant. His standards are high but his skills are low. He’s always saying the Twelve Forms Fist is just a basic Fist Technique and looks down on it, pestering every day to teach him more ’profound’ Martial Arts..."

"As a result, after years of practice, he still hasn’t mastered a single one of the Twelve Forms to Perfection!"

"It’s simply outrageous!"

"In a mont, I want you to teach him a good lesson for . Knock him down a peg and show him that there’s always soone stronger!"

Li Xingxuan heard every word and instantly exploded with anger, all composure gone. He shouted at Chu Fan, "Teach a lesson? You think you’re worthy? Co on, let’s go at it!"

The two of them imdiately took their stances in the courtyard.

Looking at the obviously spoiled boy before him, Chu Fan couldn’t help but ask, "Master Cao, should I go easy on him, or be a little rougher?"

To Li Xingxuan, these words were incredibly grating.

He let out a low roar, "How dare you look down on !"

He attacked first, lunging at Chu Fan with a Tiger Pounce. The move had so ferocity, but in Chu Fan’s eyes, it was riddled with openings.

Chu Fan sighed inwardly.

His Twelve Forms Fist had long since reached Perfection and Broken the Limit. His understanding of this Fist Technique was likely second only to its creator.

’How could it be difficult to deal with a Li Xingxuan who hadn’t even brought a single form to Perfection?’

With just a shift of his feet, he deftly dodged the lunge. His right hand shot out like a nimble snake from its hole, hooking and pulling at Li Xingxuan’s wrist.

Li Xingxuan imdiately felt a clever Force assault him, destabilizing his stance and sending him stumbling forward.

Seizing the opportunity, Chu Fan sidestepped, his left elbow striking like a dragon erging from water, and gently nudged Li Xingxuan’s back.

THUMP!

Unable to stop his forward montum, Li Xingxuan fell flat on his face, a pathetic sight.

The whole thing happened in a flash. It couldn’t even be called an exchange of blows; it was more like a one-move takedown!

Li Xingxuan lay sprawled on the ground, his mind buzzing as he began to question his very existence.

The two middle-aged n at the side were also pale with astonishnt. They exchanged a look, each seeing the utter shock in the other’s eyes.

They had long heard that Cao Feng had recently accepted two extrely talented disciples, one nad Zhao Tianxing and the other Chu Fan.

But they never would have expected that Chu Fan, who had broken through to the Blood Nourishing realm after Zhao Tianxing, would possess such an incredible talent for Martial Arts!

Chu Fan had joined the Seven Stars Gang a re fifty days ago!

Yet his execution of the Twelve Forms Fist was so fluid and effortless, so exquisitely perfect... ’Does he look like soone who’s been imrsed in this art for years, as if he’s already brought all Twelve Forms to the realm of Great Success?’

’But how is that possible?!’

’How long has he even been practicing?!’

"I don’t accept this! That was a sneak attack!"

With his youthful temperant, Li Xingxuan’s face turned purple with indignation. He scrambled back to his feet and charged at Chu Fan again.

Chu Fan shook his head. This ti, he didn’t even move from his spot. Just as Li Xingxuan’s Fist Force was about to connect, Chu Fan’s right hand shot out like lightning and precisely struck the nerve on the boy’s elbow.

"Ouch!"

Li Xingxuan’s entire arm imdiately went numb and weak, his attack crumbling in an instant.

Chu Fan gently pressed his palm against the boy’s chest, and he toppled backward again. He fell harder this ti, and the pain brought tears to his eyes.

"Hahaha!"

Cao Feng burst out laughing and walked over to Li Xingxuan. "You brat, now do you understand that there’s always soone stronger?"

"That paltry talent of yours is nothing in front of a true genius! It’s not even worth ntioning!"

"The Twelve Forms Fist is an excellent Technique for polishing your foundation and breaking through the five stages. But you refuse to cultivate it properly, leaving your foundation unstable. Instead, you’re overambitious, daydreaming all day about profound Martial Arts. It’s utterly foolish!"

Scolded until his face was beet red, Li Xingxuan was overwheld with sha. He hung his head, not daring to say another word.

Seeing this, the two middle-aged n hurried forward to help him up. They cupped their fists in salute to Cao Feng and Chu Fan before quickly leaving the courtyard with the dejected Li Xingxuan.

With the trouble taken care of, Cao Feng was in a great mood. He turned to Chu Fan with a broad smile. "So, what did you need for? Is it about Master Zhou assigning you to that brat Zhou Ye’s command?"

"Hmph. That Zhou Ye is a narrow-minded fellow. If you think it’s going to be a problem, I can..."

"Thank you, Master Cao, but it’s not about that." Chu Fan shook his head and said respectfully, "I ca to ask for your guidance on breaking through to the Bone Marrow Forging realm."

"I was wondering, Master Cao, if you might have a manual for it, like the one you gave for Blood Refining?"

Back when he was breaking through to Blood Refining, Cao Feng had given both him and Zhao Tianxing a small booklet. The Cultivation Technique and precautions for Blood Refining within it were far more detailed than in the Boxing Manual, and it even included annotated experiences from their seniors, from which he had benefited greatly.

Hearing this, Cao Feng’s brow furrowed slightly, and his tone held a hint of reproach. "Chu Fan, you’re getting ahead of yourself."

"On the path of cultivation, overambition is the greatest taboo."

"Although it has been so ti since you broke through to the Blood Nourishing realm, you should be focusing all your efforts on reaching the Blood Refining realm and solidifying your foundation."

"Once you naturally break through to Blood Refining, I will of course make arrangents for you to tackle Bone Marrow Forging. The manuals, the Elixirs..."

Chu Fan calmly interrupted him, "Master Cao, I already broke through to the Blood Refining realm this morning."

PFFT!

Cao Feng, who had just taken a sip of tea, sprayed it all out.

He snapped his head up, eyes wide with disbelief. "You... what did you say? Say that again!"

In the fifty days since Chu Fan joined the Seven Stars Gang, even if he had only broken through to the Blood Nourishing realm yesterday, he would still be hailed as a genius, enough to have all the Incense Masters fighting tooth and nail for him.

But Cao Feng knew that Chu Fan had actually reached the Blood Nourishing realm long ago; he just hadn’t registered it with the Deacon Hall.

Cao Feng had never imagined that while everyone in the gang thought Chu Fan had only just reached the Blood Nourishing realm, he had already broken through to Blood Refining today!

’This isn’t just genius...’

’This is simply monstrous!’

Cao Feng slowly rose to his feet, staring intently at Chu Fan.

He knew Chu Fan would never lie to him about such a matter, nor would he boast. Still, he couldn’t resist the urge to verify it for himself.

He slowly extended his right fist, a layer of faint blue Primordial Qi enveloping its surface. In a deep voice, he commanded, "Use your full strength and punch !"
