Now reading: Chapter 213: Runic Thread from I Can Program My Body?, a Fantasy novel by LordGrimR.

In his runic space, great changes had occurred.

Beside the golden runic core was a white thread that seed to connect to nothingness.

Tracing the thread, he sensed the runic module linked to Camilla.

"This—"

Just as he could faintly perceive the outside world from the runic space, he could now slightly sense what Camilla was doing.

Though he couldn’t see, feel, or hear anything, there was a vague impression of her figure.

"Could this be the true ability of the Runic Body?"

With this thread of connection, Camilla could practically serve as his second physical body.

Though he couldn’t transfer his consciousness to her, he could control her using various module systems.

To test if it would work, he quickly edited a basic version of the [Sensing Module System] and sent it to Camilla through the runic thread.

---

In the outside world, noticing Nash seed a bit distracted, Camilla began to explore how she could use the module system.

But before she could proceed, she suddenly felt a foreign energy enter her body.

Instinctively resisting, she quickly extinguished it like a faint candle.

"What was that? Is that you, Nash?"

"It’s . Don’t resist—I’m trying sothing."

"Alright..."

This ti, prepared for the energy infusion, Camilla suppressed her instinct to resist.

If it were anyone else, feeling such a foreign and mysterious energy enter their body, they might struggle to control their instincts, no matter how hard they tried.

But trusting Nash completely and with deliberate focus, Camilla allowed the new module system to load successfully on her virtual panel.

[Uploading Sensing Module System]

[Sensing Module System Activated]

"Huh? What’s this for?"

While she could grasp the purpose of the [Adaptive Module System], she had no clue about this new module.

"It’s a success!" Nash, too excited to answer Camilla, watched as a new screen appeared in the runic space.

On the screen, it showed his image from Camilla’s perspective!

This ant his runic module system wasn’t a one-off creation; he could continuously update or revoke others’ access to it.

More importantly, with this permanent connection, the runic module system was no longer just a local version but an online one!

Turning his theory into reality, how could he not be thrilled?

Furthermore, during this small test, Nash discovered another astonishing fact.

He could gather data through Camilla’s vision!

Though he only received basic visual feedback for now, once the universal [Sensing Module System] was fully developed, he could have a data-gathering source rivaling the original.

Turning toward Camilla, who was still clueless about the matter, Nash could only smile.

"What? Was your experint successful?"

"More than that." Nash bead.

"Then congratulations... Anyway, can you teach how to use this adaptive system? And what’s the sensing module for?"

"The Adaptive Module System should work passively. However, it still doesn’t have a water-adaptive input, so it only has so basic correcting function."

"As for the Sensing Module System, it’s just a prototype without much function."

Nash had infused the [Adaptive Module System] into Camilla in advance to check for any errors.

Though he was confident in his ability, testing was better than theory.

As for the [Sensing Module System], besides feeding him Camilla’s vision, it had no other function.

"Oh~ Then shall I dive now?"

Learning she couldn’t test anything, Camilla quickly lost interest, thinking it was more fun to swim.

Though it was as dangerous as the other extre zones, it was enjoyable, without the constant pain.

"Go ahead. Tell if you feel anything during your dives," Nash reminded her.

The universal module system he shared with Camilla might not show errors yet, but under extre stress, its shortcomings could surface.

"Alright..."

Diving toward the ocean floor, Nash stayed put, checking if the runic thread had a distance limit.

From 100 ters, 300 ters, 500 ters, 1 kiloter, 3 kiloters, 5 kiloters, and finally 7 kiloters, Camilla reached her limit and began to ascend.

"It seems the runic thread’s range is quite far," Nash thought, waiting for Camilla to surface.

As for why he thought it was far rather than limitless? It’s because the runic thread grew fainter the farther Camilla went. The consumption of void energy also increased.

Though almost negligible, when using the [Sensing Module System] to connect to Camilla’s vision, it surged noticeably.

Soon, as Camilla erged from the water, Nash noticed her nose and ears were bleeding, as if her body was breaking under pressure.

With a mind clouded with dizziness and confusion, she didn’t react until Nash called her na several tis.

"Huh? This is dangerous," Camilla muttered, fear lingering in her voice.

She had thought diving to the ocean floor was fun, but as she ascended, death began to silently claim her life.

"Stupid, the ocean isn’t just about breathing, it’s also the pressure. With your ascension speed, you’re lucky you’re still conscious." Nash shook his head, gesturing around.

At this mont, like Camilla, most others had finished their first dive.

But aside from a few conscious individuals, most were bleeding from their noses and ears, floating dizzily in the sea.

It wasn’t that they were ignorant about the pressure, but they were simply too confident in their strength.

Diving at their fastest speed, they thought they had calculated everything.

But as they ascended, feeling panic and unable to breathe, they unconsciously rose faster from the water.

As a result, they floated like dead fish, aimlessly in the sea.

"Rest first, then tell about the feedback from the module system. How did it work for you?"

"Hmm..."

Though Camilla’s body healed quickly, she clung to Nash, feigning weakness as she described her experience in the depths of the water.

While the [Adaptive Module System] still lacked a water-adaptive function, it helped her better control her void frequency.

Like an autocorrection device, it smoothed out her unconscious inputs.

The problem was that her habits and other factors caused contradictions in so areas, needing more calibration.

Overall, though not perfect, it improved her instinctive void frequency control by 30–50%.

"I see..."

Considering her words and the visuals he saw through the [Sensing Module System], Nash quickly recalibrated the [Adaptive Module System].

"Try again and see if there are still errors..."

Soon, joining Camilla’s continued dives, Nash began adjusting and calibrating the [Adaptive Module System].

For now, lacking experience, he could only repeatedly tweak the module system he shared with Camilla.

In the future, with enough data, he hoped to create a truly universal module system that needed no adjustnts.

For now, he could only toil away and adjust it manually.
