"Activate..." In a five-star danger zone, Nash craved nothing more than safety.
With the free barrier provided by the Void Administrator, they could have more breathing room to adapt.
Soon, seeing the white light enclosing the ruins, the seeded talents finally had ti to relax.
"Finally safe..."
"How long does the protective barrier last, Noir?"
"Seven days."
"Seven days? That should be enough to build a primary shelter."
The barrier was only a temporary reprieve from the Void Administrator.
Once it expired, they would have to fortify the shelter themselves.
Shortly after activating the barrier, Nash began investigating the shelter permissions, buildable architectures, and territorial map.
After so exploration, Nash learned he had four permissions.
First was the rit ratio allocation, which granted him the authority to distribute rits between the shelter and those who killed the dark beasts.
This ant he could redirect all rits to himself if he chose.
Of course, doing so without reason was just asking for trouble.
Second was the mission and reward assignnt.
Using the dark plane’s built-in panel, he could assign missions with treasures or rits as rewards.
Due to its lower utility in low-level shelters, this was mostly used in high-level ones.
Third was tax allocation. For every transaction or rit exchange, Nash could set the tax amount.
He could even decide who paid it, whether it was those conducting the transaction or the buyers.
Finally, he could set and divide danger zones around the shelter.
Once they conquered a zone, they could claim it as shelter territory, preventing higher-tier dark beasts from entering.
This was how safe zones with fixed difficulty were established.
Nash guessed that this unregulated zone was already divided by the Void Administrator, only giving them access to subdivide it further.
Besides these four permissions, all others seed to be locked.
Nash couldn’t even see their nas, only knowing what shelter level he would need to unlock them.
"This is really like a ga."
Though he knew the dark plane was like a deadly ga where one could level up, collect loot, and gather resources, he hadn’t expected it to be gamified to this degree.
He even learned that shelters had levels.
From his exploration, the shelter’s level depended on its overall strength.
This included the number of conquered danger zones, the number and quality of powerhouses, rit acquisition, architectures, resource flow, and more.
This ant that while the shelter could level up, it could also be demoted due to poor managent.
As for the benefits of shelter levels, beyond the increased rit rewards and loot percentages, the shelter’s leader would receive various buffs.
Unfortunately, since the shelter was only at level 0, Nash received none.
Turning his attention to buildable architectures, Nash saw various structures he could construct at the shelter’s current level.
These included walls, residences, roads, markets, training facilities, defensive buildings, and more.
These buildings could be built even without materials or manpower, as long as they had enough rits.
It seed the Void Administrator wanted them to focus on killing dark beasts rather than toiling over construction.
Unfortunately, these rits could only co from what the shelter earned.
Otherwise, they could pile up the rits they have to build an impenetrable shelter.
Browsing the buildable architectures, Nash couldn’t find the teleportation station or the hallowed core chamber.
"It seems those can only be accessed at higher levels..."
Turning to the Territorial Map, a blank panel appeared before his eyes.
Besides the center, where they were, everything was blank.
Since it didn’t show the positions of the seeded talents, Nash felt a bit disappointed.
"I thought it was a live map."
From the small image on the panel, Nash noticed that, though detailed, it was static.
Besides showing what they had encountered, there was no real-ti update.
Exploring further, he found functions for placing buildable architectures and dividing territory.
Unfortunately, without a clear view of the ruins they were in, Nash couldn’t do much.
"Have you learned everything in the shelter panel?" Natasha asked, noticing Nash’s movents.
"Hmm, I roughly know how to use it."
"That’s good. Then it’s ti for you to assign missions."
"Missions? Can’t I just send them to the communication port?"
The mission permission only allowed him to set tasks in their panels.
For Nash, it was the most useless function.
With the [Team Module System], couldn’t he do the sa?
Although the communication port was the only one working, it was enough to distribute the work.
"No, the mission permission is the basis for our contributions to building the shelter," Natasha said.
"Oh? You also get benefits from building the shelter?"
"Of course. Otherwise, who would follow the shelter leader?"
"Based on our contributions, we’re allocated a percentage of the shelter’s bonuses, like amplifying our training, comprehension, strength, and more."
"I see. Then let set the mission." Nash nodded in understanding.

Now that they were in the protected period, they should quickly scout the surrounding environnt and earn rits to build a defensive fort.
"You still haven’t nad the shelter?" Natasha noticed, seeing the mission panel appear before her eyes.
"Haha, I can’t think of anything. Why don’t you suggest a na?"
"You’re the leader, you think." Natasha rolled her eyes, not great at naming things either.
"What about you, Camilla? Any ideas?"
"Nope, my mind’s blank~" Camilla shrugged her shoulders.
"Then let’s na it Starfire Shelter. The kindling we’ll nurture to rise through the stars," Nash said after a mont’s thought.
"Tsk, what a poetic na. I didn’t know you had a talent for this," Natasha teased.
"Haha, Boss Noir is a genius!" William chid in.
"Starfire Shelter? It’s indeed full of aning," Van Gage added.
"Alright, stop flattering. It’s ti to get to work. Let’s divide the teams and explore the surrounding area."
"Understood, Leader Noir!"
