A Few Days Later in Eastdam State, Eastdam City:

Arriving at the capital of the Eastdam State, Eastdam City, Nash went straight to the administrative hall.

Looking at the mountain of files before him, Nash let out a deep sigh.

"Should we call you Captain Nash or Chancellor Nash?" Hector joked.

"Call whatever you want."

After agreeing to Trish’s request, Nash had been sent to Eastdam State to train his managent skills.

Eastdam State was one of the wealthiest state on Earth, second only to the four major states.

With a total area of three million square kiloters, it housed over 600 million people.

After the Great War that wiped out tens of billions of people, reducing Earth’s population to a few hundred million, the planet had begun to recover, now boasting over seven billion people.

Holding nearly a tenth of the global population and being one of the wealthiest regions, many squads had vied for control of Eastdam State.

Unfortunately for them, with Trish’s intervention, the position had fallen to Nash.

anwhile, staring at the pile of docunts before him, Nash felt a headache coming on.

Due to the recent rebellion of the Earth Horizon Alliance, which had killed most of the Arleanian rulers, the land was in complete anarchy.

Businesses, establishnts, institutions, facilities, malls, and residences had been looted one after another.

With the governnt in shambles, the state had beco hell on Earth.

Managing this place without any help was an impossible task.

"Do any of you know what to do?"

"You’re kidding, Captain. How could rough people like us manage sothing like this?"

Under Arleanian rule, unless soone was academically gifted, they were either trained for the military, sent to work in the mines, or left to scrape by.

Administrative positions had always been dominated by the Arleanians.

"Hah... looks like I’ll have to handle this myself."

Having managed a multi-trillion-dollar company before, Nash wasn’t intimidated.

But given the current chaos, steering Eastdam State back on course would be an exhausting, ti-consuming effort.

"First, issue a task to the organization to clean up this ss. We’ll pay them in cash and Void Crystals," Nash instructed Amber.

"But where do we get Void Crystals, Captain?" Amber asked worriedly.

Previously, Eastdam State had trillions in cash reserves but not a single Void Crystal.

As one of the wealthiest states on Earth, it had an annual revenue of millions of Void Crystals.

However, after the Earth Horizon Alliance took over, all those reserves vanished into their pockets.

With nothing left, there was no way to entice those Void Warriors.

"We’ll take it as a loan. As long as the Eastdam state’s mining organizations start, we’ll pay them back with interest."

At this point, Nash was willing to pay any price to get this problem off his hands.

The sooner it was resolved, the sooner he could focus on studying the Runic Space.

Even though this would cut into his personal inco, he didn’t care.

Of the millions of Void Crystals that the Eastdam state would mine, 90% would go to the Earth Horizon Alliance.

The remaining hundreds of thousands would be used to pay the Void Warriors and teams stationed at the mines.

After all expenses, Nash would make tens of thousands of Void Crystals.

Compared to the Crimson Phoenix squad’s previous inco of approximately 500 void crystals over five years, the difference was staggering.

Still, thinking of what he could achieve in the dark plane, he didn’t want to spend his ti managing a state.

Soon, after they talked about the details of the compensation, Nash turned to another critical issue: reorganizing the state’s governnt.

Without a functioning governnt, Eastdam State would remain in chaos even if they eliminated cri.

"Emily, you’ll be in charge of this. I need a complete governnt body as soon as possible."

"Leave it to , Captain!" Emily readily agreed.

Unlike hiring squads from the Earth Horizon Alliance, recruiting officials from the city was a simple task.

She just needed to convince the forr officials to return to work and fill the remaining positions.

"Hector, you’ll be in charge of the Void Crystal mining." Nash turned toward Hector next.

"What do I need to do, Captain?"

"Just restore the previous system," Nash said with a smile.

Those mining families and organizations were probably more anxious than he was.

Owning massive mining groups, they were losing tens of thousands of Void Crystals over the past few months.

"I know exactly what to do."

Thinking of cutting deals with those wealthy families and organizations, Hector couldn’t help but feel excited.

These families and organizations had an interstellar force behind them.

Earning only through various taxes and the lousy mining team of the state, Hector thought of negotiating a better deal.

"What about , Captain?" Amber asked.

"You’ll be the secretary of the state, assisting in managing the Eastdam state."

"Good, as you ordered, Captain!"

---

Soon, after finalizing the details, they all got to work.

Nash also began uploading vast amounts of information about Eastdam State into the [mory Module System].

As the saying goes: Know yourself and know your enemy.

Without a deep understanding of Eastdam State, he couldn’t properly begin his work.

Since this was tedious chanical labor, Nash activated the [Autonomous Module System] while simultaneously working in the Runic Space.

The [Autonomous Module System] was designed to handle monotonous daily tasks—waking up, cooking, driving, traveling, and even basic conversations.

Though a bit stiff, it could control his body while his mind focused on more important matters.

Knowing he would be occupied with governnt affairs most of the ti, Nash decided to create a specialized runic program for governance within the [Autonomous Module System].

"Let’s see..."

Connecting the data gathered by the [mory Module System], he began inputting various response commands.

The process was similar to the [Combat Module System]’s auto-response and auto-dodge functions.

Compared to creating a new runic module, creating an additional runic program wasn’t difficult.

---

After a week of refining various responses and counterasures, the Basic Governance runic program was complete.

[Autonomous Module Functions: Daily Chores, Basic Cooking, Basic Conversation, Basic Driving, Basic Governance]

"Just a little polishing and I won’t need to work anymore!" Nash grinned in excitent.

Scanning the reports, he saw the chaos in the Eastdam state had been successfully quelled, the governnt officials were back to work, and the mining teams had resud operations.

Wanting to test his new program, Nash activated the [Autonomous Module System].

[Input the task to be completed.]

"Manage Eastdam State’s governnt affairs for three days."

With the task set, Nash went back to the Runic Space, observing his body’s actions from within.

Booting up, his body imdiately began scanning the docunts before it.

With the Basic Governance runic program active, it quickly identified loopholes in the proposed plans.

Circling the errors and writing notes for revision, it set the flawed docunts aside.

For well-structured plans with minimal issues, it approved them.

If it encountered a complex docunt lacking a programd response, the system flagged it for Nash’s personal review.

With precise data from the [mory Module System], his body processed each docunt at lightning speed.
