Now reading: Chapter 567: Void Pulse Upgrade (2) from I Can Program My Body?, a Fantasy novel by LordGrimR.

Soon, after covering the defense, acceleration, and firepower of the Void Pulse, Philo moved on to the laboratory.

Aside from the three essentials keeping Nash safe, the lab held its own importance.

After all, if not for Nash’s insistence, what they had initially intended to deliver was a fully equipped scientific battleship for exploration and discovery.

Naturally, the Void Pulse’s scientific potential had been enhanced to match.

Unlike the standard equipnt and laboratory setup they had previously given Nash, what was on the ship was sothing else entirely.

"What is all this?"

Nash stared at the array of apparatus, equipnt, and devices filling the room.

"This is the Covenant of Truth’s most advanced exploratory equipnt. Using these, you can detect the most minute fluctuations in space." Philo explained.

The equipnt was designed to discover new materials, uncatalogued creatures, and study cosmic events and phenona.

"These will be invaluable once you advance to the tier 6 realm. And if you ever want to go further down the scientific path, this equipnt is essential."

Upon reaching the realm of law, tools like these would beco a divine aid.

Nash could study phenona at greater depth, on a larger scale, and in their most extre states; things that once passed him by would beco open books.

"It must be expensive."

"You have no idea. This set of equipnt is comparable to a tier 9 treasure." Aldric muttered from the side, his envy barely concealed.

Even he, a tier 6 scientist, didn’t have access to sothing like this.

How could he not be jealous?

Without the right equipnt, he had been forced to personally station himself in the Solaris Domain and slowly study his topics of interest on his own.

"Haha, how about I invite you onto my crew once the Cosmic Competition is over, Lord Aldric?" Nash offered.

Having a tier 6 scientist, and a Planetary Master at that, was more than he could ask for.

"Tsk. I’ll hold you to that, brat. But make sure you co back first." Aldric grumbled, though his tone carried warmth.

Despite the jealousy, he genuinely treated Nash as a friend, a prodigy, and soone worth looking out for.

Worried about his safety in the competition, he couldn’t help but throw in a word of caution.

"No need to worry. I reinforced this ship to the best of my abilities. Even if Nash runs into a tier 9 dark beast, he’ll co out without a scratch." Philo said confidently.

"What about a tier 10 Dark Beast?" Nash asked, curious.

"Ha. Good luck, kid. Pray you co out alive." Philo smiled helplessly.

No matter how skilled he was, the materials allowed in the Cosmic Competition were strictly limited.

Once it exceeded the permitted threshold, it wouldn’t be allowed in at all; otherwise, it would only draw greater danger to the area.

Fortunately, unlike what Nash feared, the dark beasts appearing in the Wild Void Area during the competition would be capped at tier 9.

Any tier 10 dark beasts would be dealt with in advance before they could cause problems.

With a monster like that loose, not even a fleet of tier 8 battleships would fare well, much less a single ship.

Moving on, Philo continued introducing the rest of the additions.

After the lab ca the ecological garden, lined with spatial arrays that transford the interior into a sprawling mountain paradise.

Although training or any high-intensity activity wasn’t possible here, as the space was too unstable, it was a perfect place to unwind and feel the world.

The soil and minerals on the ground were equally unusual.

Regardless of species, the garden could sustain any plant up to tier 8 without any issue.

Moving to the next area, they arrived at the containnt chamber, where Nash could hold any creature he fancied.

It was outfitted with sophisticated equipnt for studying and operating on living subjects.

And if the need arose, it doubled as an interrogation room, functional for extracting information from an unwilling prisoner.

After that ca the kitchen, bedroom, entertainnt area, and more.

Mindful of Nash’s ntal health during long expeditions, each space had been carefully designed to let the mind decompress.

He could live on the ship for thousands of years as though it were an ordinary planet.

Whatever he needed or desired, it could be accommodated.

The ship was also fully self-sustaining, removing any concern about running out of supplies during extended voyages.

Finally, they arrived at the control center, Philo’s significant addition.

Stepping inside, Nash imdiately saw how different it was.

Instead of banks of controls scattered across every surface, there was a single sphere floating at the center of the room.

"Can it be fully controlled by mind?"

This feature wasn’t commonly available.

Most battleship operations were already autonomous, and the few tis manual control was needed, managing an entire tier 8 battleship with a single consciousness was near impossible.

Even a War God couldn’t pull it off.

Although Nash was confident he could manage a ship this size on his own, Philo shouldn’t have known that.

"Don’t worry. I integrated that small chanical being you brought earlier."

"Atom?"

At Nash’s words, the floor shifted and warped, rising into the familiar shape of Atom.

"Master. We et again." Atom bowed.

"You’ve been watching this whole ti."

"I apologize, Master. Lord Philo said it was a surprise."

"Never mind that. Tell what you can do now."

"Hmm."

With Philo’s upgrades, Atom could now perfectly control the entire ship without any lag.

That minuscule delay might seem trivial, but at the Void Pulse’s speeds, having seamless, complete control was revolutionary.

If before Atom had been a passenger along for the ride, now it was an extension of his own body.

"Haha, Atom. Show him the main part." Philo ordered.

But instead of acting imdiately, Atom turned toward Nash, waiting for confirmation.

Nash was his master. He had only deferred to Philo earlier because he believed it would make Nash happy.

"Go ahead. Show what you’ve been hiding."

At Nash’s confirmation, the room—no, the entire ship began to contract and distort.

With the floor collapsing, everyone instinctively used their power to lift off the ground.

"This is—"
