A month later, Nash reconfigured the [Control Module System] with ease.

Freeing over half of his computational power made everything easier to handle.

If not for the complexity of converting soul essence to soul crystals, he might have finished it in a week.

Testing the [Control Module System]’s efficiency, he watched soul essence rapidly condense into crystals.

Like water turning to ice, Nash estimated that before long, it could form an arctic continent inside his origin space.

"This speed should be enough." Nash muttered, adjusting the condensation rate.

Any faster, and he wouldn’t have enough soul essence to distribute.

"It’s ti to create the industrial potion-making and purification machine."

Thinking of Julius’s request, Nash felt a slight headache coming on.

That quickly reminded him of the plan to improve the education system across the Sun Star Void Area.

Opening his intercom, Nash called Julius.

"Is there anything you need, Commander Nash?"

"Hmm. How is the education system improvent plan I ntioned before? Has it been implented?"

"Yes, we are already building universities on each planet. We are also creating customized tests to sift through each talent."

"Oh? Did the other cosmic team alliances agree?"

This plan of his wasn’t fully funded by them alone, aning the other cosmic team alliances had to contribute.

Training professionals from scratch wasn’t cheap by any asure.

If calculated until full growth, the total cost might surpass that of a fully built Great Barrier Array.

"They agreed and promised to cooperate with us fully."

Although expensive, the cost was gradual.

Depending on individual growth, the tiline could stretch to hundreds or even thousands of years.

Of course, as ti passed, more and more talent would erge, increasing the cost alongside it.

"That’s good. What about the customized tests you’re creating? Isn’t there already a built-in test in the virtual world?"

"It’s not specific enough. I spoke with civilization managers and various leaders, and we agreed it was more practical to train professionals instead of purely scientists." Julius explained.

To accommodate everyone from all ethnicities and races, the virtual world’s test was too broad.

Although it was accurate at detecting scientific talent, that wasn’t what they needed.

They needed professionals specializing in many different fields.

Not only would it cost less, it would also be faster and more efficient.

"I see. That’s a good idea. Let know once the results are out." Nash muttered in approval.

He was never as fixated as others when it ca to cultivating scientists.

Although they were pillars of civilization, so were all kinds of other professionals.

Furthermore, they were in a wild, void area, full of chaos and killing.

Instead of creating and discovering new knowledge, it was better to apply what they already had.

Besides, they weren’t lacking in inheritance.

With the knowledge the Convention of Truth had copied for him, they wouldn’t hit any bottleneck until the tier 8 realm.

Picturing more professionals being cultivated and coming to his aid, Nash eagerly got to work on the industrial potion-making and purification machine.

A month later, as all universities were built and filled with complete equipnt, a planet-wide examination began to unfold.

In the Star Alliance Territory, Mordous Planet, an innocent five-year-old girl sat on a swing.

Looking up at the sky, instead of a smile, she was filled with sadness.

Having beco an orphan just a few months ago, little Lilia had her mind full of thoughts of revenge.

"Lilia, what’s with the frown? If you have sothing on your mind, you can talk to ."

"Sister ri— It’s just that my father and mother..." Unable to finish her words, Lilia began to sob.

Filled with talent, her parents had joined the general army and fought against the swarm of dark beasts to defend their ho.

But unlike others who returned, the two of them didn’t.

Consud by grief, Lilia felt like a hollow shell with no purpose left in the world.

Fortunately, the territory under the Star Alliance was full of humanitarian spirit.

For orphans, especially those of martyrs, everything they needed was fully funded.

From food and shelter to companionship and education, nothing was left out.

But that wasn’t what she wanted.

She wanted power. Power to wipe out the dark beasts that killed her parents.

Unfortunately, after a test, it was found that her combat talent was weaker than her parents’.

Without enough resources, the most she could reach in the future was Void Commander rank.

With no clear path forward, Lilia was filled with gloom.

"You little girl. You can treat us like your family." Sister ri pulled Lilia into a hug.

"But— but—"

"If you want to do sothing, why don’t you attend the unified testing at the university?"

"University? What is that?"

"It’s a training ground for professionals. No matter what talent you have, you can grow there." Sister ri explained simply.

"Train? Would it make strong?"

"Surely! With the talent your parents had, how could you be any worse?"

"Then I’ll try!" Filled with newfound hope, Lilia stood up.

---

Mordous University.

Guided by Sister ri and the others, Lilia and the children of the orphanage sat down to take the test.

The test for each age group was different.

For Lilia and the others, it was filled with pictures and patterns they had never seen before.

But following the staff’s prompts and guidance, they completed the test within an hour at most.

Taking tests like this at least three tis a day, a week quickly passed.

Waiting for her results, Lilia was torn between eagerness and dread.

What if, like her combat talent, she was a failure here, too?

Thinking back on the tests she barely understood, her confidence began to crumble.

"Cheer up. No matter what happens, you still have us."

Encouraged one by one, the children gradually cald down.

Then finally, after waiting a while, instead of a results sheet, a group of people walked in.

"Who is Lilia?"

"What’s the matter? Did sothing happen?" Sister ri asked first.

"We’re here to welco a prodigy." The bespectacled man at the front said with a wide smile.

"Uh— is it Lilia?"

"Yes. A prodigy in weapon manufacturing. A future pillar of the Star Alliance!"

"Really? Can I be a pillar of the Star Alliance? Can my talent be used to kill dark beasts?!" Lilia asked, her eyes lighting up.

"An SSS-class weapon manufacturing genius. You could set fire to an entire swarm of dark beasts..."
