Zhao Rui said with a smile,

"Being short on cash is your problem. What are you asking for? If you don’t practice martial arts, then just sit tight!"

"Oh, no problem. Goodbye, Aunty!"

Zhao Rui said with a smile on his face.

Hearing him call her "sister" earlier and then "Aunty," the crowd burst out laughing.

"You..."

The woman huffed twice, turned, and got off the bus.

The few high school students in the back row exchanged helpless glances and also followed the group off the bus.

After they left, Zhao Ke silently glanced at his brother, a look of confusion in his eyes.

Zhao Rui couldn’t help but roll his eyes. He shot his brother a glare and whispered, "I may have learned martial arts to save lives, but not to be a do-gooder for just anyone."

Zhao Ke, sowhat confused, let out an "oh" and didn’t say anything more.

A short while later, those high school students returned to the bus, fuming and cursing under their breath:

"That shaless bitch, treating us like free labor. Her car ain’t that precious."

"Exactly! So what if we know Martial Arts? Does knowing Martial Arts an we have to lift her car for her? Who the hell does she think she is?"

The group sat back in their seats, grumbling, and imdiately soone turned their head curiously to ask what happened.

They explained that the wrecked cars were too badly damaged. They tried lifting them a few tis, but the force was uneven, which only caused more damage.

So, the well-to-do woman had a sudden "bright idea" and asked them to help carry her car past the wreckage on the side of the road.

Of course, the young n refused. Why should they?

When the woman saw they were unwilling, she beca dissatisfied and started using high-minded, righteous argunts to pressure them.

Then, the people around them also chid in, saying they were so amazing, just like Superman, so what’s the big deal about lifting one car?

These words instantly made the group explode with anger.

They all furiously traded a few insults before returning to their respective vehicles.

After hearing the whole story, Zhao Ke finally understood what his brother had ant.

He couldn’t help but shake his head.

"We’re only ten kiloters from the county town. Why don’t we take a shortcut and run there? With our leg strength, we should be able to get there quickly."

Just then, a boy sitting nearby suddenly suggested.

"Good point. Rather than just sit here waiting like idiots, we might as well head ho. We can even make a show of it for that bitch."

"Yeah!"

They were all for it and imdiately got off the bus.

Zhao Ke asked curiously, "Brother, can they really run as fast as a car?"

"More or less. Why?"

"Then wouldn’t you be even faster?"

Zhao Rui looked at his younger brother with an unfriendly gaze and sneered, "You wish."

"Heh heh!"

Zhao Ke scratched his head. Ever since experiencing the backlash from taking that dicine, plus spending the last six months with Tian Yaru and being influenced by her, his mindset had changed a lot.

He was also trying to accept being ordinary.

Zhao Rui had naturally noticed his brother’s recent changes, and he was quite pleased.

"Let’s go! Off the bus!"

Zhao Rui smiled, was the first to grab his backpack, and walked to the front. With a brief murmur, he got straight off the bus.

Zhao Ke hesitated for a second before hurriedly following him.

After the two got off the bus and were about a hundred ters from the road, Zhao Rui grabbed Zhao Ke by the waistband, tapped his feet lightly on the ground, and instantly shot forward, leaving the ground.

The cold headwind whipped against Zhao Ke’s cheeks like a knife of frost, a sensation that was indescribably... invigorating.

"Brother, brother! I was wrong!"

Zhao Ke looked at the ground flashing past beneath his feet, and the terrible feeling of his body not being under his own control instantly washed over him.

He didn’t dare struggle, afraid that if his brother lost his grip, he would really fall.

Zhao Rui just laughed loudly, turning a deaf ear to his pleas, and continued forward against the cold wind.

However, he did slow down to about the speed of an electric scooter.

Anyway, the county town wasn’t far. It would only take ten or twenty minutes.

With a push of his foot, Zhao Rui would often leap seven or eight ters. Sotis, by stepping on stones or plants, he could even stay airborne without falling.

These magical sensations made Zhao Ke feel like he was in a dream, a truly unique experience.

The two of them rushed toward the county town like this. After a short while, they suddenly saw two groups of people in a standoff ahead.

To be more precise, one group was surrounding another.

Zhao Rui’s vision was incredibly sharp, and he recognized at a glance that the ones surrounded were the sa young n who had left earlier.

"Brother, what is it?"

Zhao Ke asked curiously.

Before Zhao Rui could answer, the roar of motorcycles echoed from far behind them. Then, they saw a group of people on motorcycles rushing over, carrying clubs and pipes.

Zhao Rui quickly dodged out of the way.

Just as he was wondering what was going on, he heard a woman’s voice from one of the bikes shout, "Hey, you! Weren’t you the one getting smart with on the bus?"

Zhao Rui turned his head and saw, sitting on the back of a motorcycle, the heavily made-up middle-aged woman who had been looking for a Martial Arts Student on the bus earlier.

"Aunty, can I help you?"

Zhao Rui paused, asking in confusion.

"Little bastard, who are you calling Aunty? He’s one of them, too. Beat him up! He doesn’t know Martial Arts."

the woman said viciously.

"Holy shit!"

This was a real eye-opener for Zhao Rui.

Beating soone up over such a trivial matter?

’What’s this woman’s deal, being so arrogant?’

As soon as the woman finished speaking, five or six n got off the motorcycles and surrounded them, each looking fierce and nacing.

Zhao Ke’s legs were trembling with fear. "Brother, brother, they’re being so unreasonable."

Zhao Rui just smiled and bent down to pick up a few stones from the ground.

Ever since he’d gotten the hang of using Macadamia Nuts as projectiles, Zhao Rui had gotten lazy.

He was now always tempted to toss a few ’darts’ for fun.

"Yo, kid, what do you think you’re doing?"

A guy with yellow hair finished speaking, raised the club in his hand, and swung it straight at Zhao Rui’s head.

’Swinging a club over such a small matter?’ Zhao Rui’s eyes turned cold. ’These people must be incredibly arrogant and domineering in their daily lives.’

He pulled Zhao Ke behind him, and with a flick of his wrist, a stone shot through the air, flying rapidly towards the yellow-haired man.

The yellow-haired man hadn’t even taken two steps before the stone hit his calf. He let out a yelp, fell to the ground, and clutched his leg, wailing in pain.

Clearly, the blow had broken his shinbone.

This single move stunned the rest of them.

"He’s a practitioner! Get him together!"

The scar-faced man driving the motorcycle in front of the woman frowned and shouted angrily.

He was clearly the leader of this group.

At his command, the n around them instantly charged at Zhao Rui.

Zhao Rui didn’t waste any words. With several flicks of his wrist, stones shot out in all directions like a goddess scattering blossoms.

With a few sharp CRACKS, half of the n were knocked to the ground. The other half barely managed to dodge, but they were drenched in a cold sweat from the shock.

"Boss, he’s too strong."

The few who hadn’t been hit quickly turned and ran back to the motorcycles, speaking with lingering fear.

"Brother Lang, you have to step in!"

Scarface raised a hand with a grave expression, silencing the crowd’s chatter, and spoke to soone behind him.

As soon as he finished speaking, a man in his thirties stepped out from the shadows.

"You’re a student?"

The man had a long, thin face and a full beard, giving him a decadent air.

"You don’t look like a common thug!"

Zhao Rui retorted.

The lanky-faced man smiled, wasted no words, and lunged forward, attacking with a whip kick.

Unhurried, Zhao Rui stepped back, turned, and executed a back kick, already employing a Technique from the Great Strength Vajra Leg.

This Martial Arts was ferocious and powerful, its techniques fierce and sharp. Once initiated, it was like a river bursting its dam, sweeping down in an endless torrent.

The lanky-faced man t each move with a counter. Before they knew it, they had exchanged seven or eight kicks.

Powerful Inner Qi radiated outwards, kicking up clouds of dust on the dirt path.

"Good kid, good skills!"

After exchanging about ten blows, the lanky-faced man saw an opportunity, stepped back, and said loudly, then turned to Scarface. "Let them go."

At his word, Scarface imdiately nodded. "On Brother Lang’s account."

The woman behind him was about to speak, but Scarface silenced her with a look.

Seeing that they had already written the entire script without him saying a single word, Zhao Rui felt a bit helpless.

’Oh well,’ he thought. ’The less trouble, the better.’

He walked over to Zhao Ke’s side, pointed two fingers at the seven or eight motorcycles, and flicked them repeatedly.

Instantly, bolts of Profound Yin Gang Qi shot out, precisely piercing the motorcycles’ tires.

A series of loud POPS rang out!

After doing this, he grabbed Zhao Ke, leaped up, and departed without a backward glance.

Scarface and the others had not expected him to pull such a move at all. Enraged, they were just about to spit a few curses and give chase,

when they heard the lanky-faced man shout, "Everyone, shut up! He’s a Grandmaster Realm expert!"

At these words, everyone froze, stunned.

Scarface’s face turned pale. He whipped his head around to look at the heavily made-up woman and—SLAP!—he smacked her across the face, leaving five clear finger marks.

"Are you blind? You do nothing but cause trouble for !"

"Now look what you’ve done! You... I..."

Scarface was so angry he was sputtering incoherently.
