The counselor sighed.
He was just a low-ranking counselor.
There were precedents, after all. What good would reporting it do?
"Alright, then. I’ll request a few days off for my brother. He’ll need so ti to recover from these injuries."
"No problem."
The counselor imdiately nodded in agreent. As long as he didn’t have to deal with the Martial Arts Team, even a week’s leave would be fine.
Zhao Rui nodded. He led Zhao Ke out of the administration building, and they got into their car and drove straight off campus.
「Not long after they left.」
A group of Martial Arts Team mbers stood around a dozen or so people who were frozen like wooden posts, utterly baffled. They couldn’t even figure out where to begin.
"Coach, we can’t unseal these acupoints!"
A sharp-looking young man with a serious expression walked over to a middle-aged man standing nearby.
He spoke in a deep voice.
"Even you can’t unseal them?"
The coach’s gaze sharpened. He strode over to the human posts, placed a hand on one, and probed their condition for a mont.
After a long mont, his face darkened. "What a formidable Sealing Technique."
He then looked around. "Where did they go?"
A student from the crowd imdiately pointed to a distant administration building and said, "They went to the School of Managent’s administration building. I think they’re freshn from the School of Managent."
"Let’s go have a look!"
With that, the coach led the way toward the School of Managent building in the distance.
"Coach, what about them?"
A team mber pointed at the immobilized students and quickly asked.
"What do you an ’what about them?’ Move them into the shade! Do you want them to bake to death in the sun?!"
"..."
The onlookers struggled to hold back their laughter, but inwardly, they were overjoyed.
’Finally, soone is putting the Martial Arts Team in their place.’
「A few minutes later.」
The Martial Arts Team coach led a few team mbers nacingly into Zhao Ke’s counselor’s office.
"Where are those people from earlier?"
The coach demanded in a hostile tone the mont he entered.
"Th-they left!"
"Left? Where to?"
"Uh, Coach Lu, uhm, they’re all students, let’s not blow this out of proportion. It’ll look bad. Besides, the student from my class is the one who got beaten up!"
The counselor mustered his courage to argue on Zhao Ke’s behalf.
"What ’beaten up’? Hurry up and give your student’s phone number!"
Coach Lu shot him an annoyed glare.
Since the Spiritual Qi Revival, Coach Lu’s Martial Arts had broken through to a new level. His power and influence on campus were second to none.
"Hey! Let’s talk this out calmly."
"Calmly? What is there to talk about!"
Coach Lu grabbed the counselor by the collar and glared at him.
The counselor’s legs went weak with fear, and he quickly gave him Zhao Ke’s contact information.
Coach Lu then had a team mber call Zhao Ke and tell him to unseal the students’ acupoints.
Zhao Ke answered the phone. Before he could say more than a few words, Zhao Rui took it from him. "When I decide they’ve been punished enough, I’ll unseal their acupoints."
"And when will that be?"
the team mber demanded anxiously.
"Tomorrow at noon! Of course, if you can unseal them yourselves before then, they’ll suffer less!"
After saying that, Zhao Rui hung up the phone.
"Bro, is this going to be okay? Let’s not make a big scene!"
Zhao Ke said cautiously.
"Wouldn’t it be better if we did?"
Zhao Rui smiled. ’If I’ve reached this level of the Martial Dao and still can’t act on my own will, what was the point of all my training? Might as well have fed it to the dogs!’
Even if a Dharma Realm master showed up right now, he was confident he would remain undefeated.
The Spiritual Qi Revival had begun. On the surface, social order seed intact, but undercurrents were already surging below.
The distribution of power, the division of classes, and the web of personal interests were all undergoing subtle changes.
Zhao Rui didn’t want his younger brother to be provoked and beaten up every other day.
A single, decisive show of force would be enough.
"He said he’ll co unseal the acupoints tomorrow at noon!"
"And... and he said... if we could do it ourselves before then..."
The Martial Arts Team mber who made the call reported awkwardly in the office.
"Alright, I heard everything."
Coach Lu’s face was extrely grim.
He had thought that with his Martial Arts at this level, there was nothing in the entire school he couldn’t handle, except for an honorary professor from the Taishan Sect.
And now, here he was, completely stumped by a simple Sealing Technique.
"Let’s go back!"
With a cold expression, Professor Lu led his team mbers straight back to the Martial Arts Team’s area.
’If I can’t undo this, I’ll be utterly humiliated.’
"What was that?"
’Looks like that student of mine is more than he seems!’
Zhao Ke’s counselor watched in stunned disbelief as Coach Lu led his people away.
「In the training grounds of the Zizhou University Martial Arts Team.」
A dozen or so students stood in a row. Apart from their breathing and the slight twitching of their skin and muscles, they were exactly like wax statues or wooden carvings.
Coach Lu stood behind one of the students with a solemn expression, his palms pressed against the student’s back.
He circulated his True Qi through the student’s Eight Extraordinary ridians, attempting to break the Sealing Technique.
’What’s happening?’
After more than half an hour of this, Coach Lu’s face was grim.
This Sealing Technique seed to have a life of its own. No matter how he tried to clear it, as soon as it encountered his True Qi, it would spontaneously regenerate and slowly grow stronger.
In fact, the more True Qi he used to break it, the stronger its sealing power beca.
At the sa ti, it was continuously depleting the Inner Strength within the victim’s body.
Only when all the Inner Strength True Qi was completely dissipated would the person whose acupoints were sealed regain their mobility.
But by then, their foundation would be shattered, and they would never be able to pursue Cultivation again.
No Martial Artist could endure that.
"Coach, why don’t we ask Daoist Zhang to take a look?"
A team mber who was on good terms with one of the sealed mbers couldn’t help but speak up.
Coach Lu’s eyes sharpened, and he shot a fierce glare at him.
It scared the team mber so much that he lowered his head and didn’t dare to look up for a long ti.
Just as Coach Lu was deep in thought, a group of middle-aged n walked in, surrounding an old Daoist with a grizzled beard.
When the team mbers saw them, their hearts lifted with joy, and they quickly cleared a path.
"Coach Lu, what’s wrong with these people? Sothing this major happened, and you didn’t notify ."
A middle-aged man spoke in a cold, naturally imposing tone.
"Dean Wang, I was just trying to find a solution!"
Coach Lu retorted, clearly displeased. He was annoyed that so student had been a tattletale.
But this was a huge incident; he didn’t need a student to spread the word.
News had already spread throughout the entire campus.
"Have their acupoints been sealed? Who did it? You can’t unseal them?"
Dean Wang looked at the students and asked in confusion.
As soon as he spoke, Coach Lu shut his mouth and didn’t say a word.
’What was he supposed to say? That he couldn’t do it? That would be a huge slap in the face.’
"You, speak!"
Dean Wang pointed to the Martial Arts Team Captain standing nearby and asked in a deep voice.
He was a dean, after all. Coach Lu’s attitude had already sparked his displeasure.
A bit of arrogance was fine on a normal day, but if that arrogance reached the point where he ignored a direct question from his superior, then that was a different matter entirely.
"Dean, I heard them say they had a conflict with a student from Business Administration. As a result, their acupoints were sealed, and they ended up like this."
The Martial Arts Team Captain said sheepishly.
It was embarrassing to admit.
"Business Administration? Have you gone to find their instructor?"
"We did. We made a call, and the person on the other end said he’d let them suffer for a while and wouldn’t unseal their acupoints until noon tomorrow."
When Dean Wang heard this, his brow furrowed. Clearly, the other party was not soone to be trifled with.
He then looked at the Daoist beside him and said, "Then I’ll have to trouble Daoist Zhang to give it a try."
Daoist Zhang stroked his beard, nodded, and stepped forward.
He reached out, felt one student’s pulse, and discreetly sent a sliver of True Qi into their body.
A mont later, he began tapping his palm against the student’s body in a rapid sequence. His movents were so fast the onlookers couldn’t even see his hands.
「A few minutes later.」
Daoist Zhang’s form beca visible again. He frowned and said, "This technique is bizarre. It has traces of a Demon Sect’s Finger Technique, yet its core is righteous and pure, like that of a Righteous Sect’s Taoist Martial Arts. I can’t quite get a handle on it."
"I fear a rash attempt at Unsealing Acupoints might damage their foundations!"
"Furthermore, their bodies are also afflicted by a Poison Skill. It isn’t potent, but if this drags on for too long, it will likely cause harm."
"For now, the best course of action is to contact the other party as soon as possible and have them resolve it."
"I, for one, am quite curious to know which Daoist Sect this disciple hails from to have such profound skill."
He was curious because, according to eyewitnesses, the one who sealed the acupoints was very young and looked like a student.
After hearing this, Dean Wang nodded and asked, "Where’s the phone number? Give it to ! I’ll make the call!"
