Song Ziwen’s face turned deathly pale. He clutched Cangwu Zi’s fallen body, trembling like a leaf as he stamred, "You fool—no, Grandpa, Ancestor! You can’t die! You have to protect !"

"You noisy animal!"

The middle-aged Daoist struck with hatred, sending a palm strike flying toward Song Ziwen.

Song Ziwen was so scared he wet himself and fainted on the spot.

"Bullying your benefactor? So this is how the Qingcheng Sect conducts itself!"

Just as the Daoist’s palm wind was about to hit Song Ziwen, two streams of Palm Force acted like a siphon, instantly pulling both the dood Song Ziwen and the unconscious Cangwu Zi, who was limp on the ground, out of harm’s way.

The middle-aged Daoist reacted with extre speed. The longsword on his back flew out, ready to sever the suctioning True Qi.

Unfortunately, a streak of black light shot through the air, striking the longsword with pinpoint accuracy and blocking the attack.

The middle-aged Daoist’s Power was profound. The mont his longsword was blocked, he flipped backward, using the montum to disengage. He abandoned his sword to break free, then twisted around and grabbed Cangwu Zi’s ankle, yanking him back in an instant.

"What fine skill!"

Two figures appeared not far away, a man and a woman. The man was gripping Song Ziwen’s neck, holding him like a dead fish and letting his unconscious body dangle toward the ground.

"I am Song He of Qingcheng. Are you two aware that Master Cangwu is an Elder of our Qingcheng Sect? Do you intend to make an enemy of Qingcheng?" the middle-aged Daoist demanded, his cold gaze fixed on the pair.

"How impressive. By the order of the Sect Leader, we are here to escort Guardian Cangwu back to the sect. All who stand in our way will be killed without rcy."

The young man sneered, showing no regard for Master Song He or the Qingcheng Sect.

"How dare you!"

Master Song He swung his longsword, and a crescent-shaped wave of True Qi sliced across the ground, heading straight for his opponent.

At the sa ti, he tossed Cangwu Zi to one of the accompanying Daoists and charged toward the pair.

The man unhurriedly dodged while still holding Song Ziwen, then flicked his right hand, sending several streaks of black light speeding out.

They shot toward the vital points on Master Song He’s body.

The two exchanged several blows from a distance, and for a mont, it was impossible to tell who had the upper hand.

"Soone from the ’Song’ generation is this powerful? You must be a core disciple of Qingcheng."

The young man hadn’t expected this Song He’s Martial Arts to be so superb, not in the least bit inferior to the older generation.

As the two clashed, the other Daoists no longer stood idle and surged forward.

However, the mont they moved, the young woman blocked their path.

The two sides began to fight, their movents wide and powerful, holding nothing back.

Master Song He, unable to gain an advantage after a long assault and worried about making a mistake, executed a feint and withdrew. "Stop for now!" he said.

He had heard the young man ntion obeying a Sect Leader’s order and retrieving a Guardian, so he knew this pair was definitely not from any ordinary sect.

He had already sent a voice transmission to the other Daoists with him, telling them to send a ssage requesting aid from the sect’s seniors.

"Stop? Very well. Leave Cangwu Zi behind, and I’ll let you go."

The young man spoke with his hands behind his back, his expression calm and composed, looking every bit the part of a peerless master.

"Are you sure you want to oppose the Qingcheng Sect?"

"The Qingcheng Sect? Is that supposed to be so great sect? Sorry, never heard of it."

Seeing his arrogance, Master Song He’s eyes filled with anger, but this was not the ti to escalate the conflict. Escorting Cangwu Zi to safety was more important.

"Form the Beidou Demon Suppression Array! Songshan, take Uncle Master back."

Seeing his opponent’s attitude, Master Song He knew this battle was inevitable.

He let out a great shout as True Qi swirled around him, and an inexplicable pressure instantly emanated from his body.

Then, a massive Dharma Body over ten ters tall appeared on the field.

The Dharma Body was an exact replica of Master Song He himself. It was clearly the Qingcheng Sect’s Dharma Divine Technique—the Profound Do True Self Aspect!

"A True Self Dharma Body? No wonder!"

Not to be outdone, the youth clapped his hands together. A wisp of black energy instantly spilled from between his palms, and in the blink of an eye, it transford into a monster resembling a Mountain Demon from a mythological totem.

This monster was a full twenty ters tall and rail-thin. Attached to its ribcage were two drum-like air sacs, thin as mbranes. With each breath, the mbranes would rise and fall, creating a whooshing sound.

"I’ve long heard that the Qingcheng Sect is arrogant and conceited, refining their own bodies into a Dharma Aspect. Seeing it today, I see your reputation is well-deserved, haha!"

The youth laughed heartily and flew to the monster’s shoulder, his tone dripping with ridicule.

"You who follow a heretical Side Path, how could you possibly comprehend the divine might of my True Self?"

Master Song He’s True Dharma Body erupted with power, charging directly at the youth.

The two massive behemoths clashed in an instant, imdiately kicking up clouds of dust and causing the ground to sink.

This True Dharma Body was ford by condensing True Qi into a physical form, no different from a real object. Its weight and power were both tangible.

"Since they’ve started fighting, we shouldn’t stand around either."

The woman who had co with the youth gave a sharp look and charged straight at the group of Qingcheng Daoists.

"Protect the Elder!"

"Form the array and defend the Elder!"

The Daoists stepped in the formation of the Qin Step, their longswords resonating. A powerful, unified force imdiately surged from their bodies.

This power was actually strong enough to faintly withstand the aftershocks from the battle between the two True Dharma Bodies.

The woman’s figure flickered as she moved with extre speed, lunging for Cangwu Zi. But the Daoists’ formation was wondrous; each ti, they were able to channel their power to block her advance.

The great battle between the two sides plunged the world into chaos, and the sounds of the conflict shook the heavens.

The strange phenona here could be seen and heard from a great distance.

"They really have no regard for our Taishan Sect. How dare they use a Dharma Body to cause chaos in our territory."

Not far away, a group of Taishan Sect Daoists who were speeding over grew furious at the sight.

The one in the lead had a grim expression, but he did not act rashly.

Among this group of Taishan Daoists, only Master Changfeng had barely stepped into the High Tier of the Divine Void Realm. He was still a long way from the Dharma Realm.
