"What’s buried here isn’t people?"
If they’re not people, what else could they be?
Gods?
But is he one now?
He definitely will be one soday in the future, but clearly not yet.
On a hillside in the Gods’ Graveyard, Lin Yi gazed into the distance at Morman, whose whole body was covered in black scales, not understanding what he ant by those words.
At the sa ti, Lin Yi was also curious who that "Tomb Guardian" signed at the end of the tombstone really was.
Was it him?
Just then, Morman, walking in front of Lin Yi, suddenly spoke:
"This World will undergo an unprecedented great cataclysm."
"If this cataclysm cannot be safely weathered, it will inevitably lead to the extinction of all living beings on this plane."
When he said this, Morman clearly paused for a mont before continuing:
"But in this cataclysm, I saw your figure."
"And I also saw two endings on you. Do you want to hear them?"
Morman’s words made Lin Yi’s heart jolt:
Good grief!
He opens his mouth and it’s either cataclysm or genocide.
Could it be that he’s taking for this World’s Savior?
And the so-called cataclysm in his mouth, could it be referring to the invasion of the Demon Race?
Lin Yi looked at Morman with so curiosity as well and asked:
"You can see the future too?"
Since Lin Yi’s reincarnation, this was the first ti, apart from the Beast God, that soone had spoken of things that were about to happen in the future.
Morman was likewise intrigued by Lin Yi’s words:
"You said ’too’?"
But Morman quickly understood and said calmly:
"So that ans you’ve probably t that guy Rek’sa already."
Lin Yi had nothing to hide about this and directly admitted:
"Yes."
"Yesterday, in the central area of the Demon Forest."
Then Lin Yi asked with so curiosity:
"You know him?"
Morman chuckled:
"You could say that."
But clearly Morman didn’t want to continue discussing that person and instead shifted the topic:
"You might want to hear the future I saw on you."
Lin Yi also withdrew the thoughts in his heart at this mont and said respectfully:
"Junior is all ears."
Morman then continued:
"In the two endings I saw... you’re dead in both of them."
"What?!"
Lin Yi’s eyes widened sharply as he looked at Morman in horror:
"Senior, are you joking with ?"
At first, Lin Yi thought that in the two endings he ntioned, the worst case would be one where he lived and one where he died.
But he hadn’t expected that in both endings he saw, he would be dood to die.
If anyone else heard this result, they would find it unbelievable and unacceptable. Lin Yi was naturally no exception.
Yet Morman seed to have long expected Lin Yi to react like this. He didn’t rush to refute him, but continued with what he had been saying:
"In the first ending, you die under the Nine Heavens Divine Tribulation."
Lin Yi felt like he was listening to so wild, nonsensical tale:
"Isn’t the highest Divine Tribulation just the ’Nine-Nine Celestial Tribulation’? Where did this ’Nine Heavens Divine Tribulation’ co from?"
The next thing Morman said imdiately left Lin Yi speechless:
"That’s only what you know."
Right!
Even though Lin Yi was a Reincarnator, in everything he had co into contact with over this past year, he’d discovered with so sorrow:
Every experience he went through kept refreshing his horizons and worldview over and over again.
When you think you’re a frog that’s already jumped out of the well, reality keeps telling you: you’ve only jumped from one well into another, slightly bigger well.
Because of that, Lin Yi directly jumped to the next question:
"Then what about the second ti?"
"The second ti?"
Morman said with a half-smile:
"By then, I’ll bury you here."
This ti he didn’t say how Lin Yi would die.
Just as Lin Yi felt a chill run down his spine at those words, Morman said:
"We’re here."
"What?"
Lin Yi looked up and realized that, unknowingly, he was already standing beneath that enormous statue on the hillside.
When Lin Yi finally saw clearly the statue towering dozens of zhang high, his expression changed drastically in an instant:
"That’s—!"
Lin Yi stared in shock at the statue clad in Battle Armor, sword raised and pointing into the distance, filled with majesty and a murderous aura.
What shook Lin Yi so much wasn’t the imposing presence the statue exuded, but that face full of resolve and determination.
The figure carved into this statue was actually Lin Yi himself!!!
Lin Yi stared, dumbfounded, at this "himself" whose overbearing aura of looking down on all living things couldn’t be concealed even as a stone statue, suddenly feeling his mouth go dry and unable to speak.
"Looks a lot like you, doesn’t it?"
Morman’s words instantly jolted Lin Yi awake:
"What!"
"That person isn’t ?"
At that, Morman gave Lin Yi a sidelong look and said:
"When did I ever say he was you?"
Hearing this, Lin Yi felt not only deeply embarrassed, but for so reason a trace of loneliness flickered through his heart.
But Lin Yi quickly adjusted his emotions and asked curiously:
"Then who is he?"
This was probably the first ti in his life that Lin Yi had encountered soone who looked so much like him.
Morman suddenly asked:
"Did you happen to notice that right next to the spot you crawled out of, there was a tombstone with his na on it?"
No sooner had Morman finished speaking than Lin Yi blurted out:
"You an Ling Yi? That Supre God Ling Yi?"
Morman glanced at Lin Yi and nodded:
"That’s him."
A man whose na was almost the sa as his own, and he actually looked almost identical too?
Lin Yi was starting to doubt life a little at this point.
He couldn’t tell if this guy in front of him had made it all up, or if such a person really existed.
But Lin Yi was clearly not very interested in that right now. Instead, he asked:
"So you brought here just to tell I’ve got two ways to die and that there’s soone who looks a lot like ?"
Standing beside the statue, Morman smiled faintly:
"Of course not."
Then, under Lin Yi’s bewildered gaze, Morman raised his hand and snapped his fingers:
"Snap~"
Just as Lin Yi was wondering what was going on, a chorus of moans like a hundred ghosts wailing suddenly rose in his ears.
From the hillside, Lin Yi looked out over the entire graveyard and saw countless figures crawling up out of the earth.
These figures weren’t the skeletal fras one might imagine, but one after another, humanoid transford beings who looked like Morman—walking upright like lizardfolk, their bodies covered in dense scales.
What shocked Lin Yi even more was that above all their heads appeared:

Among them, Lin Yi even saw an extrely familiar na:

Wasn’t this exactly one of the nas he’d just seen on those tombstones?
Staring at this woman in a black-and-red robe, holding a Magic Staff, Lin Yi actually found himself a bit dazed.
Looking around now, among this dense mass of Dragon-n, not only were all the Professions Lin Yi knew and didn’t know present.
But there wasn’t a single one among them whose Level was below Lv70.
When these figures surrounded the little hillside where Lin Yi stood like stars encircling the moon, suddenly they all, as if they had drilled this countless tis, dropped to both knees almost simultaneously and shouted in unison:
"We greet the Dragon Lord."
Morman glanced at the young man beside him whose shock was written all over his face and chuckled softly:
"What do you think of my masterpieces?"
Lin Yi looked at Morman in disbelief. Before he could speak, Morman once again opened his mouth:
"Do you think they’re qualified to fight for you—for all living beings on this continent?"
