In a place far from the bustling city, stands a cluster of bare, abandoned buildings.
The exposed concrete surfaces, with patches of moss, seem to tell their own stories.
"This area was supposed to be developed into a comrcial district by the Changsheng Group a few years ago, but due to so reasons, the Changsheng Group went bankrupt, and this place was left abandoned."
In the car, Mu Lingxue showed no sign of being worried about being brought to such a desolate place.
Instead, she casually introduced Zhang Xinying to the ’history’ of the area as if nothing happened.
"But it seems like Dachang International has bought it. In a few years, this place might not look the sa."
Just then, Zhan Tianpeng parked the car under one of the abandoned buildings, in a space resembling a garage.
While pulling the handbrake, he turned to the girls in the backseat and said:
"You all stay in the car for now, I’ll take you to the night market once we’ve dealt with the trouble outside."
He then signed to Ouyang Jing, repeating what he had just said.
Mu Lingxue didn’t ask much but instead turned on the car TV at the sa ti, finding Wang Zixin’s favorite cartoon, and said:
"Zixin, let’s watch so TV for now. We’ll go have fun once your brother finishes handling things, okay?"
"Okay."
The well-behaved Wang Zixin nodded.
Young as she was, she had no idea of the events about to unfold here.
Zhan Tianpeng affectionately patted Wang Zixin’s little head, pulling out snacks from his clothes he had grabbed from ho for Wang Zixin,
"Here, this is for you."
"By the ti you finish eating, your brother might be back already."
"Wow, it’s potato chips!"
Wang Zixin happily took them, while Zhan Tianpeng opened the car door and got out, stretching his muscles on the open ground outside.
At the sa ti, Guo Shaojie parked his car beside them, and Lin Yi and others got out one after another.
Soon after, a row of imposing black business vehicles parked in another open area.
A group of fierce-looking, hostile n got out of the cars.
In an instant, dozens of n surrounded Lin Yi and the others.
Just then, the door of the first business vehicle opened.
A middle-aged man in a suit stepped out.
When he looked towards Lin Yi’s side, an unexpected expression unconsciously appeared on his face as he said:
"I originally wanted to use her to lure out Feng Hua. Didn’t expect to draw out your entire rcenary Corps instead, haha~"
Qi Gang looked at these familiar faces before him, not expecting Feng Hua to gather the rcenary group from the ga into reality.
Among them, Tianzi, Handso, Red Eyes, Zhan Chen, and Stable as a Mountain were recognizable for their ga identities at a glance.
Because they hadn’t altered their appearances much when entering the ga.
Whether it was Guo Shaojie, Ouyang Hao, or Zhan Tianpeng, their real-life identities didn’t require hiding.
Wang Sijie and Fang Zhengrong, who didn’t understand much about the ga and joined, didn’t think about changing their appearance either.
Only Lin Yi chose to change his appearance in the ga.
Because of this, Qi Gang didn’t recognize this handso young man standing opposite as his bitter enemy: Feng Hua.
Not seeing who he was looking for among this group, Qi Gang glanced towards the car parked under the old building and said:
"Where’s Feng Hua?"
"What, does he not plan to co out and et his ’old friend’?"
Then he looked towards Guo Shaojie and others, sneering:
"Or is he scared, preparing to hide with those won and let you guys handle it for him?"
Finally, he couldn’t help but mock:
"Wasn’t that kid pretty good at fighting in the ga?"
Hearing Qi Gang’s remarks, everyone exchanged amused glances with a smile.
Qi Gang saw Ouyang Hao and the others’ reactions, puzzled:
"What are you all laughing at? Did I say sothing wrong?"
Noticing Lin Yi’s eye contact, Ouyang Hao instantly understood and stepped forward, saying:
"You didn’t say anything wrong."
"But if you want to see my boss Feng, I’m afraid you’re not quite qualified yet."
At this mont, not only did Qi Gang recognize the identities of Ouyang Hao and others, but upon seeing Qi Gang for the first ti, Ouyang Hao and others also recognized Qi Gang’s ga identity:
Divine Hall Madman!
It dawned on everyone then what trouble Lin Yi had ntioned before.
Ouyang Hao and others had heard of the rumors about the Madman before.
But it was the first ti Ouyang Hao encountered soone unable to handle conflicts in the ga, yet bringing those grievances into reality for a resolution.
If it weren’t for Lin Yi’s early discovery today, they would never have guessed that the so-called trouble was borne out of ga grudges.
Ouyang Hao stood less than a ter in front of Qi Gang, looking him in the eye:
"I used to respect you as a tough guy in the ga. But I didn’t expect you to resort to such shaless actions."
Ouyang Hao looked at Qi Gang impatiently:
"You better take your people and scram imdiately, or else..."
"Or else what?"
Qi Gang sneered dismissively:
"From the mont I made this decision, I never intended to give myself a chance."
