In front of a grand building in the Floating City, Yamada Miki, who had once ’crossed paths’ with Lin Yi, stood there, looking up at this ancient yet dignified tall structure.
"Mage Guild" were the five large words that caught the eye above the building.
After observing for a while, Yamada Miki stepped inside.
Perhaps due to the lack of visitors for a long ti, Yamada Miki slled a musty scent as soon as he entered.
The entire guild hall was in disarray.
The ruins of tables and chairs, torn cloth strips, mismatched pieces of equipnt and armor, and even shoes hastily left behind by soone were scattered everywhere.
In the dim moonlight, the large webs of spiders emitted a faint glow in the dark.
Everything here seed to be narrating to newcors the chaotic history that once unfolded here, filled with a sorrowful aura.
Yamada Miki wasn’t captivated by these sights, instead heading directly towards the stairs leading upwards. One step, two steps...
As Yamada Miki moved, the stairs made of wooden planks creaked continuously, echoing eerily in the empty hall.
When Yamada Miki reached the second floor, a figure stood with their back to him, facing a large floor-to-ceiling window.
The moonlight stretched his shadow, casting it on the wall behind Yamada Miki.
It seed as if this person was deliberately waiting here for Yamada Miki’s arrival, suddenly speaking:
"You’re here."
But Yamada Miki replied calmly:
"Mm."
Yamada Miki walked step by step towards the figure, finally coming to a stop behind them, then spoke:
"Now, aside from Emperor Pu, King Caesar, and that Feng Hua, everyone else has clearly taken our side."
The scene shifts, and Satan J’s pale face reveals a aningful smile:
"Do you know their current locations?"
Yamada Miki slowly said:
"Except for Emperor Pu, who is still unaccounted for, the actions of the other two are within our grasp."
Saying this, Yamada Miki looked at the terrifying man next to him:
"What is our task this ti?"
Satan J looked at the tranquil scenery outside, his eyes flashing red:
"Find a way to restore the teleportation array in the Western Continent, and find an opportunity to eliminate those three."
Then Satan J directed his gaze to the center of the city:
"But before dealing with them, we must make use of everything at our disposal..."

Bachman was carrying the teor Hamr with a grim face, leaping from one rooftop and slamming it down fiercely on another.
Under the imnse weight of the teor Hamr, Bachman broke through the roof, falling layer by layer.
When Bachman finally stood on the first floor, Lin Yi, in terror, glanced at Bachman, ready to flee to the other side.
But would Bachman let him succeed this ti?
Once again swinging the teor Hamr, he directly smashed through the wall, cutting off Lin Yi’s escape route.
Bachman stood at the only exit, glaring nacingly at Lin Yi:
"Run, go on and run!"
"Damned Demon Race, I’ll fight to the bitter end with you!"
A massive ball of light blasted open in front of Bachman’s chest.
"Arcane Missile"
"-2501"
But Bachman’s expression beca more ferocious as he withstood Lin Yi’s attack, gripping Lin Yi’s throat:
"Watch how slowly I will kill you."
Boruzak’s voice suddenly ca from outside:
"Have you caught the person?"
Bachman quickly replied:
"Demon Monarch, we have caught him."
Just after saying this, Bachman noticed the strange smile on the human’s face.
Bachman’s gaze narrowed:
"Why are you smiling?"
But at that mont, the human male who had been ’struggling’ in his hands suddenly vanished as if evaporated into thin air.
Bachman looked dumbfounded at the scene:
"What is going on?"
Boruzak, who happened to witness Lin Yi’s disappearance from behind Bachman, had his expression darken:
"Did you kill him?"
Bachman was terrified out of his wits:
"No, no, no, Demon Monarch, please let explain."
But just then, Bachman seed to be hit by so heavy strike and was uncontrollably flung backwards, crashing into a pile of rubble:
"Urgh~"
A mouthful of black blood spurted from Bachman’s mouth.
Yet despite this, Bachman could not care less about his injuries, hurriedly explaining:
"Demon Monarch, we might have fallen into a trap."
Boruzak glared at Bachman with a grim expression:
"I hope you can give a reasonable explanation, or else you report back to the Abyss."
Seeing Boruzak’s expression, Bachman realized that the Demon Monarch in front of him was truly angered.
It was the first ti in hundreds of years he’d seen him like this.
Bachman stamred in fear:
"At the start, when we were tracking this human, he was heading towards the teleportation array."
Boruzak’s expression changed drastically upon hearing this:
"Useless!"
Boruzak casually tossed a stone and then disappeared in front of Bachman.
The stone thrown by Boruzak pierced right through Bachman’s shoulder:
"Pssst~"
Bachman spat out another mouthful of black blood, his spirit instantly depleted, sitting down on the ground.
Yet even so, Bachman dared not harbor any complaints, struggling to stand up.
However, just then, Bachman suddenly sensed sothing, his eyes sharp:
"Who? Who is there!"
The next mont, a blond, blue-eyed man appeared in front of Bachman, smiling:
"Oh handso, or rather, not handso at all."
"Well, honorable Demon General, seeing your agony, let relieve you."
Seeing the opponent draw a two-handed greatsword, Bachman sneered:
"A re Third Transformation warrior, and you want to kill ?"
With his right arm severely injured, Bachman had to take up the teor Hamr with his left hand, eyes savage:
"Stay here as my food."
Yet before Bachman could reach for the teor Hamr on the ground, a two-handed greatsword had already pierced his left shoulder:
"Double Strike"
"Pssst"
"-5903" Critical Strike
"You!"
Bachman, already heavily wounded by Boruzak, was left with little health.
Now suffering such a heavy blow, fear quickly usurped Bachman’s will to fight.
Because he simply couldn’t believe that a re Third Transformation human could inflict such significant damage on him.
Feeling a threat to his life, Bachman abandoned his weapon altogether:
"Wait for ."
Then, relying on his powerful physique, Bachman crashed through the dirt wall by his side and fled.
"Running? Hah~"
The man wielding the greatsword sneered:
"Did you get my permission?"
A few minutes later, Bachman, once a top commander under Boruzak, indirectly t his tragic end at the hands of Boruzak himself.
The figure holding the greatsword looked in the direction where Boruzak and his entourage had left, murmuring to himself:
"Teleportation array?"
Then this man, who seed to be a warrior, vanished from the spot.
anwhile, around a platform in the residential area, dozens of the Demon Race were patrolling back and forth around the teleportation array that glead with a ghostly light at the center.
"It’s still useful after all!"
Hidden in the shadows, a pair of eyes glead with joy upon seeing this.
