At noon on the day the Eight Schools Tournant began,
in the Goryeo War Zone, at an open-air tavern in Xinquan City, Cui Dongxu sat across from Yuna.
A main road of Xinquan City lay right below the tavern, bustling with people and noise.
Yet, the open-air tavern was empty, with only Cui Dongxu and Yuna present.
A group of players attempting to enter the tavern was suddenly stopped by a high-level player at the door, who said:
"This tavern is booked for today; try soplace else."
The two players imdiately protested:
"Asi-ba, do you know who we are? What right do you have to deny us entry?"
The player blocking the door sneered and said:
"I wonder if President Cui of the Seven Stars Association has the right to book this tavern?"
The two players’ faces changed drastically upon hearing the na of the Seven Stars Association, and upon realizing it was Cui Dongxu who booked it, they quickly bowed and said:
"Oh, it’s President Cui, apologies, apologies, we’ll leave now."
The two then fled in haste, too scared to look back.
This scene was witnessed by Cui Dongxu upstairs, whose face broke into a smug smile:
"Yuna, you’re the first to dare to oppose in the Goryeo War Zone."
Staring at the beautiful woman across from him, Cui Dongxu expressed his confusion:
"Are you really willing to ignore your family’s safety for so brat from Hua Country?"
"What is it that you want to do?!"
Yuna, with a cold expression, looked at Cui Dongxu:
"I warn you, in the ga world, how I play is my own business, and you’d better not involve my family."
"Otherwise, I won’t let you off easily!"
Yuna then gritted her teeth, shouting Cui Dongxu’s na:
"President Cui!"
In response, Cui Dongxu seed indifferent, saying:
"Alright, alright!"
"Let’s not talk about things that upset us."
"Let tell you sothing you might want to hear."
Yuna frowned at the man, who now disgusted her:
"What?"
At this mont, she didn’t believe anything beneficial could co from this person.
Cui Dongxu leaned on the railing beside him, gazing at the scorching sun above, and slowly said:
"Help with one thing. If it succeeds, we’ll owe each other nothing."
"Of course, I won’t bring up your family’s safety again either."
Cui Dongxu looked at Yuna with a smile:

Harrison, in the hall, looked at the visitor with a puzzled expression:
"Barnes, Level 67 Elder, what has you in such a panic?"
The Sea Race mber nad Barnes explained:
"The patrol squad ahead reported that a multitude of Naga clan mbers were found hiding twenty nautical miles away, and they appear ready to attack us!"
"What?!"
Harrison was shocked, slamming the table:
"Is this news true?"
Barnes wiped the nervous sweat from his forehead and said:
"I’ve personally verified it; it’s absolutely true."
"A multitude from the Naga clan."
Harrison’s face darkened as he chewed over the news:
"It seems their entire clan is on the move."
The Sea Elder Barnes appeared terrified and said:
"I’m afraid that’s not all."
Harrison felt a jolt in his heart:
"Tell everything at once."
"Yes!"
Barnes trembled as he spoke:
"Besides the Naga clan, I also noticed many Chosen Ones from the Western Continent and an army of Corpse Demons that had long disappeared."
"What!!"
Harrison widened his eyes in disbelief:
"Are you sure they’re together?"
Barnes:
"Since they’re standing together, I’d say it’s hard not to believe they’re in cahoots."
Harrison imdiately recognized the gravity of the situation:
"It seems the Naga clan wants to completely destroy my Galia City this ti!"
Barnes anxiously urged from below:
"City Lord Harrison, we must seek help, or Galia City will be destroyed and its people dood."
At this mont, the first thought that flashed through Harrison’s mind was of his neighbors, the Titans.
The last ti the Naga clan attacked, it was with the help of the Titans that they were repelled.
But at that mont, a Fishman Guard rushed in urgently:
"Report, City Lord!"
Harrison, seeing this, grew furious:
"What is so urgent? Can’t you see I’m discussing a critical matter with the Elder?!"
Now, Harrison’s mind was entirely consud by the impending crisis Galia City was about to face, and the impulsive guard happened to beco the outlet for Harrison’s anger.
The fishman looked bewildered at Barnes, hesitating:
"Elder, you see~"
Elder Barnes quickly explained:
"City Lord, calm down, I sent him to seek aid from the Titans."
A fuming Harrison gradually cald down and asked:
"What did they say?"
Barnes, seeing the fishman staring at him, glared and said:
"What are you staring at for? Speak up!"
The Fishman Guard had no choice but to speak up courageously:
"Elder Bruce of the Titans said that their Clan Leader must decide on this matter, but their Clan Leader is not present, so they cannot provide us a response."
"What!"
Harrison was once again shocked:
"What’s going on, damn it."
Without the help of the Titan clan, with the strength of Galia City’s Fishn, it would be tough enough to face the Naga clan, let alone contend with the Chosen Ones from the Western Continent and the Corpse Demon Race.

While Harrison was sending out the call for aid, he failed to notice the fleeting smile of cunning success on the face of Barnes, who had his head lowered below.
