"Does the quest require we personally make the kills count?"

Unexpectedly, the place, previously swarming with people, now was completely deserted.
Looking around, the nearby area was swarming with foul-slling cursed creatures (wild monsters), marching in unison, staggering towards Ussuri City.
Even more strangely, these cursed creatures ignored Lin Yi and the others, bypassing them without attacking.
Xiao He looked baffled:

Shuai Diaozha and the others responded promptly:

Lin Yi then compared with the coordinates of the array activation, realizing it corresponded to the City Lord’s Mansion of Ussuri City!
This was unexpected for Lin Yi.
Lin Yi suddenly rembered seeing City Lord Frankie back in the ’Haunted House’, frowning.
This made Lin Yi realize that the most challenging aspect of the quest might not be the million cursed creatures but rather how to successfully activate the Sealing Array.
With nearly six months of ga experience, Lin Yi guessed that Frankie would definitely interfere.
This intercepting quest he issued wasn’t just a simple coincidence.
However, Frankie’s level was as high as Lv80; only the City Lord of White Tiger City in the Hua Country War Zone was higher at Lv83, and Babylon of Cyan Dragon City was Lv75.
