"Bastards, hold it down for !"
Amidst a furious roar, the Giant Dragon Crus glared angrily at the 'ants' before it, roaring:
"Go to hell, all of you!"
A mysterious array ford under Crus's feet, swirling and slowly rising into the sky.
A terrifying power emanated from the continuously spinning array, prompting soone to scream in terror:
"Interrupt it quickly, interrupt it!"
Magic and arrows whistled through the air, landing on Crus and stirring up massive damage numbers.
Ghostly figures erged from the void, wielding sharp daggers, attacking the dragon-scaled body.
Soone shouted:
"Stop it for !"
But no matter how fierce the Thieves' attacks were, Crus showed no intention of stopping.
At that mont, a silhouette like a 'red sun' appeared in mid-air.
As the array manifested above Crus's head and expanded, that silhouette like a 'red sun' swooped down towards Crus's head.
Satan J erged from the 'red sun', wielding a red scythe, with a cold determination as he executed a skill:
"Heaven-Devouring Slash"
"-31488" Critical Hit~
Everyone saw a red streak across the sky, and the next mont Satan appeared behind the Giant Dragon Crus, creating a deep pit where both feet landed.
anwhile, large fireballs were forming in the imnse array above Crus's head; however, before the fireballs could fall, Crus suddenly uttered a sound of shock:
"Uh~"
Satan J lightly tossed the red scythe, allowing it to float behind him automatically.
As Satan J slowly turned, the body of Giant Dragon Crus slowly tipped to one side, and the enormous heavenly array dissolved into starlight and faded instantly.
"Boom~" With a loud crash, the enormous body of Giant Dragon Crus lay fallen on the ground.
At the mont of seeing Crus fall, these top players from the United States War Zone slumped to the ground breathless as if drained.
Satan J glanced at the team channel: (Online players 79/100).
Which ans there are only 79 players now; just monts ago, when the BOSS went into a frenzy, 21 players were lost.
If the BOSS hadn't been slain in ti, once that skill had completed, more players would have been killed and resurrected.
Satan J glanced at the nearly hundred Dragon Scale Fruits in his inventory, feeling a deep but inexplicable sense of relief.
As the BOSS perished, naturally many imdiately focused on the items dropped by the BOSS.
A golden light quickly caught everyone's attention, prompting soone to exclaim:
"Legendary!"
Satan J turned to look, seeing a dazzling great sword lying not far from the BOSS's corpse, but he wasn't interested and continued searching the loot for sothing else.
Soon a look of disappointnt flitted across Satan J's face as a Knight player approached him and said:
"No Dragon Egg dropped, what a pity."
Satan J glanced at this player, remaining silent.
The player standing beside Satan J was actually the second in command in the United States War Zone, after Satan J: Arthur, Hidden Profession: Death Knight.
Arthur understood Satan J's temperant and continued speaking to himself despite his indifference:
"We should be the first to kill this BOSS, right?"
"Logically, first killing a BOSS, even if a Dragon Egg didn't drop, at least a Dragon Wing should've, right?"
"It only dropped a legendary item, rather stingy."
Then Arthur seed to rember sothing, suddenly saying:
"Well, since you already have a Bone Dragon, it doesn't matter whether a Dragon Egg drops or not."
Satan J did not respond to Arthur's musings but said:
"Take a break, gather everyone once the resurrected regroup, and we'll head out imdiately."
For so reason, Satan J suddenly had a bad premonition in his heart at this ti.
By all logic, holding most of this dungeon's information, such a situation shouldn't occur.
But recalling Feng Hua's presence only intensified the unease as the dungeon progressed.
One point Arthur ntioned was correct!
Both the Dragon Egg and Dragon Wing here are part of the dungeon's exclusive special equipnt.
Based on previous first-clear experiences, a dungeon BOSS first-clear generally guarantees a drop of exclusive rewards.
Yet after this BOSS's death, none were given, leaving Satan J puzzled and uneasy.
Thinking of the three remaining BOSSes, Satan J could only comfort himself by considering perhaps only the final BOSS's first clear yields the exclusive dungeon drops.
Unfortunately, unable to contact the outside now, Satan J was eager to know how far Feng Hua's dungeon progress is…
"Dungeon progress at 20%, fantastic!"
Outside the Giant Dragon's Nest dungeon, upon discovering the second-ranked team led by Satan J reached 20% dungeon progress, players jumped up in excitent.
Although it had been over ten minutes since the team led by Lin Yi, who had 20% dungeon progress.
The pace was still unable to dampen the players' enthusiasm.
In their view, as it is the opening of a new dungeon, speed at tis doesn't necessarily an everything.
Only reaching the end victoriously is the true win.
Being far ahead now doesn't an much if a wipe later causes a restart.
Such lead ans little to players of the Western Continent.
Apart from these two teams, the following teams also hit the 15% dungeon progress mark.
Implying they had reached the first dungeon BOSS too, marking a crucial boundary between top and second-tier players.
Not every team has the strength to face the gatekeeper BOSS, Crus, like Lin Yi and Satan J do.
Under normal circumstances, without adequate power, second-tier players must at least reach Fifth Transformation strength to pass the first BOSS by sheer power.
...
At this mont, Lin Yi and his group had just finished off a wave of wild monsters below the platform, and appeared by a dimly lit underground river.
In front of Lin Yi and his group lay a nearly seven or eight-ter long, turbulent underground river.
This raging river blocked their way, with the opposite bank shrouded in darkness, revealing nothing.
It seed like a dead end.
Beside Lin Yi, Shengshi Drunkard curiously asked:
"Where should we go now?"
