The scorpion's sharp claw pierced the girl's chest, blood splattering.
Tears instantly burst from Gerard's eyes as he scrambled to the girl, cradling her while crying helplessly:
"Amia, please no."
"Don't scare , Amia, you'll be alright."
"Sob sob sob~"
Luckily, the blow missed vital organs; otherwise, the girl would have perished by now.
At this mont, the girl's face suddenly showed a bluish-purple hue, evidently signs of poison.

Seeing the scorpion charging, Gerard imdiately dodged:

The scorpion missed, turned, and attacked again.
Gerard's staff already ford a massive fireball. He swung it and shouted:
"Die, beast."
The fireball, trailing flas, hit the scorpion's head:

Fire scattered instantly.
Gerard thought this would cause at least so damage.
However, the scorpion shook its head as if unhard, its eyes contemptuously human-like towards Gerard.
Gerard couldn't believe his eyes; his newfound confidence smashed by harsh reality.
As the scorpion attacked again, Gerard refocused, using the complex terrain to evade, his body surging with Magic Power.
Fireballs ford in Gerard's hands, smashing onto the scorpion.
From afar, Amia, placed aside, watched Gerard's narrow escapes with resilient willpower.
Despite her dire state, she worried for Gerard…
As Amia's consciousness dimd, a hand and a small green bottle appeared before her.
A voice followed:
"Can you still move? Try this, see if it helps."
Upon hearing the voice, Amia's mind filled with questions:
'Whose voice is this?'
'Who is he?'
'Is he here to rescue ?'
