In the crowd, the woman from earlier, an office lady, was muttering lost in thought, staring intently at the nearby empty space.
She was sure she saw it just now...
Though the surroundings were dim, there was no way she could have mistaken it! But... but... why is there nothing there now? Where did the body go?! How could it just disappear in such a short ti? Even if soone dealt with it, they couldn't have been this hasty, could they?
But at this mont, there's nothing here, just the usual few cars parked sparsely.
As for the person who supposedly jumped to their death, there was absolutely nothing.
No body, no blood.
At this mont, she felt a bit dizzy, completely unable to discern if she was dreaming.
Everyone present was uncertain, each voicing their own opinions. Logically, they should doubt the woman's claims, but her assertions were so confident, it didn't seem like she was lying or trying to disturb others. Besides, similar situations seed to have occurred a few tis recently—
Thanks to Old Ding's loud voice, many of the elderly were sowhat influenced. Now, when bizarre events occurred again, their first instinct was naturally to think in a supernatural direction.
Recently, rumors of the neighborhood being haunted had already started spreading far and wide.
Today's incident seed to confirm that the place had bad feng shui and the situation was getting worse.
Gu Mo listened in on the conversations in the crowd, couldn't help grimacing; it seed soone did see sothing, but couldn't see clearly who, and even mistook it was a suicidal jumper... Of course, that was their initial take. Looking at the situation now, everyone seems inclined to believe it's haunted.
Because soone did jump in the neighborhood before, but that was long ago... Where there are people, there will inevitably be problems, such situations are unavoidable.
The recent rumors have spiraled out of control, making residents a bit tense and prone to wild guesses, connecting everything to the past jumper ghost coming back for revenge...
"..."
"..."
Amidst the noisy discussions, Gu Mo's face was tense, feeling embarrassed. Clearly, he couldn't stay here any longer. If he continued to live here, he'd have to refrain from using any of the special abilities he brought back from the Dungeon World, living entirely as an ordinary person...
Otherwise, it would surely have many repercussions.
Understanding the situation roughly, he turned, planning to leave quietly.
"I told you! I told you so! There's a big problem with this neighborhood! Sothing must have happened recently!"
Not far away, Old Ding was pointing out things to his family, speaking fervently, and even clapping loudly at tis, seemingly to draw attention and clear his na.
"The other night, I heard voices calling . Luckily, I'm clever, didn't reply or look back. Otherwise, none of you would see now. I'm telling you, there's sothing looking for a substitute ghost!"
"And after that, the night I was on duty, I looked up and saw a fiercely malicious Evil Ghost, covered in blood, dressed like those ancient warriors. It was staring at through just a window, and I was terrified..."
"..."
"..."
Many were drawn to Old Ding's tales, seemingly captivated by his stories, while only one unnoticed figure quietly slipped away, concealing achievents and na.
Returning to his residence, Gu Mo closed the windows he had opened earlier, then went to his bedroom to sit down. Ti was of the essence; he imdiately turned on his computer to search for a suitable place to move to, planning to leave this soon-to-be infamous neighborhood within the next couple of days.
"Hmm?"
Seeing a familiar title on the search page, Gu Mo paused slightly, then clicked in. It was a compilation of his previous edited videos, which now seed to have been re-uploaded by so self-dia channels, garnering decent clicks.
Co to think of it, he hadn't updated for about two weeks?
Reflecting on this, Gu Mo felt slightly apologetic and recalled he still had an ongoing long-term main task—to boost his reputation in the real world and increase Legendary Level, which seed difficult as even the first stage was still unfinished.
"If the buzz dies down, people may not even rember, possibly decreasing mission progress..."
He pondered for a bit, realizing he had no good solutions yet. His experiences in the Dungeon World were too few, with only his journey in the Warring States being captivating... Perhaps he could edit the previous mission world footage to share, though the repetitive battles were quite dull and unappealing.
Releasing the frenzied nights from the end directly... would the audience understand it?
"Whatever, might as well draw so attention first."
Without much hesitation, Gu Mo decided firmly. Although his Warring States journey received decent feedback, his combat scenes were embarrassing to watch, so he passed them entirely. Through clever editing and rging, he ensured the plot remained complete and coherent without affecting the story's progression.
The only downside was audiences often mocked him for being a protagonist who only spouted words or relied on Ah Xiu...
Gu Mo felt he needed to prove himself, to show everyone he wasn't dependent on won—well, Loki wasn't a woman, at least not in the world of masks view.

(PS: Well, wishing everyone a prosperous new year, nothing particularly novel. Just wishing you a lucky Year of the Tiger... New year, new atmosphere, and may the Year of the Tiger bring great power!)
