Despite possessing astonishing mana, it was of no use, utterly unleasable, his very flesh and blood devoured completely by his disciple.

Gu Mo continued forward, sorting out the intelligence on Peach Fruit Man, confirming that it basically aligned with what he already knew—

"So he’s likely just a common demon borrowing the benefits of immortal Magical Artifacts?"
Gu Mo nodded with a sly smile, thinking similarly. In his impression, Peach Fruit Man was rely a green-nad monster, far from reaching a boss-level obstacle—after all, ti was too short to gather more fragnts, relying only on Human-faced Fruit to consu people.
If not for the Elder Immortal’s overly potent legacy, Peach Fruit Man would rely be a diocre Cannibal Demon, not posing much of a challenge to the protagonist team’s journey, perhaps easily forgotten after defeat.
Especially in the original plot, where the protagonist team had such a difficult ti, nearly facing total annihilation, largely due to strategic errors. Inuyasha, as always reckless and impulsive, failed to think things through, on a new moon night where he would naturally lose his Demonic Power and revert to an ordinary human.
Without properly investigating Peach Fruit Man’s intel, yet brimming with confidence thinking he could easily slay him, they rushed to resolve the issue before nightfall, dragging the entire team to the brink of collapse...
In the end, it was Himura Kago who managed to reverse the situation by shooting an arrow at the fragnt of the Four Souls Jade embedded in Peach Fruit Man’s navel.
So, in other words—
My minimum guarantee is that Kikyo could probably vaporize Peach Fruit Man with a single arrow.
Emmmmmm... that’s not quite acceptable. Even in a cooperative team state, where teammates can share experience from monster battles, the "partial" experience shared by teammates differs from the "full" experience gained from personally defeating monsters.
Gu Mo mused, realizing he needed to be more proactive in securing his own share of battles, otherwise upgrading would beco increasingly difficult.
In contemplation, the two passed by the inner chamber with bonsai again. However, Gu Mo didn’t attempt the Magic Technique taught by the Elder Immortal, as Immortal Techniques aren’t easily mastered, lacking proficiency, and corresponding Skill Badges can’t be condensed so quickly, making it inappropriate to delay here.

With one hand the size of a fan supporting his head, the other hand clutches a large Human-faced Fruit, casually bringing it to his mouth, taking bites and chewing the juicy Demon Tree Fruit.
"My stomach is starting to feel uncomfortable again, how annoying... is it so picky already that it doesn’t want to eat anything else?"
This ungraceful giant, smacking his lips, reached to pat his round belly with a hand, regarding the half-eaten peach in his hand with what seed like genuine concern.
"But the recent ones are all dry, skinny old n, haven’t been fattened up; their at is dry and unpleasant to eat now, eating them would be a loss... Maybe I should eat so brined ones, but there aren’t many of those left, need to make so more brine."
