The train was speeding along.
The scenery outside the window kept retreating.
Maybe because it was leaving the area of Tokyo, the carriage was not as empty as before, and gradually filled with quite a few people. Yet, the air in the carriage was unusually quiet, and countless people were intentionally or unintentionally looking in the sa direction, casting admiring glances.
The witch, dressed in white and scarlet hakama, turned her head slightly and was lost in thought as she gazed out the window, not knowing what she was thinking about. Sunshine stread in through the window. Beside her was a young man seemingly oblivious to his surroundings, quietly perusing an obviously yellowed ancient scroll in his hands, giving a fresh mountain mist feeling, elegant and tiless, his deanor sowhat unreal.
The witch had a very traditional style, with a touch of sanctity in her conservatism, and her whole person was as calm as water.
And although the young man wore modern casual attire, he held what seed to be an ancient scroll and was seriously studying it.
However, there was not the slightest discord between the two, only an ineffable harmonious naturalness, without feeling abrupt at all... The train sped through the intense afternoon sumr sunshine, racing along the tracks, while the witch and the young man sat quietly by the window, with the outside cityscape rapidly retreating.
In this backdrop, even the faint dust particles in the sunlight seed leisurely and peaceful, as if the air itself unwittingly quieted down as well.
In a trance, it beca hard to distinguish whether this was reality or a beautifully artistic wallpaper.
This naturally attracted envious gazes from people, not that the witch was responsible for stunning them, and the young man for drawing envious and jealous looks... It was not like that; in fact, they were treated fairly equally in this aspect since there were also female passengers in the carriage.
However, the other passengers in the carriage could only look on, at most pretending not to care, shifting their gazes occasionally, but nobody really dared to take that step, muster up the courage to strike up a conversation or sothing.
If either of them was alone in the field, soone would surely brazenly step forward, but they just happened to appear together...
Even though the two maintained a certain distance, like passengers seated next to each other on a train, anyone who wasn’t blind could see that their relationship was definitely not that of complete strangers... Or rather, they gave a feeling that should be so.

The remaining thods would either be training on oneself or seeking so other ans... Fortunately, Gu Mo knew of a fitting example—
The Elder Immortal.

Yet, this also ans that since this form of cultivation’s peculiarity stressed spiritual enhancent, would it an the body doesn’t beco a shackle to spiritual developnt?
Gu Mo himself did not need to be as extre as Elder Immortal, entirely abandoning physical strengthening, but he pondered that he could start finding his solutions from here.
Once the Points were more ample later on, he could consider enhancing the physical body... Or maybe not necessarily later, as he would inevitably encounter different systems and products from many worlds, perchance at so point, he could just happen to find complentary enhancents.
