Now reading: Chapter 505 - 11: Who’s Cooperating With Whose Act? (Part 3) from I Can See Health Bars in Real Life, a Fantasy novel by Momentary brilliance.

The outline of the light band in the sky resembled a massive celestial body approaching the atmosphere and the planet’s orbit.

At the beginning, even he couldn’t recognize it. After all, it looked similar at a glance, and his perception couldn’t extend to such heights, so he subconsciously mistook it as so alien territory, until later he confird what kind of dangerous duplicate this was.

"The world is going to be destroyed..." A chill ran through her heart, and the twin-tailed girl instinctively followed the guidance of the young man in the cyan Daoist robe before her, lifting her eyes towards the sky.

Seeing the outline of the light band intertwined with the sun in the sky, Akai Hinako’s pupils contracted fiercely. Naturally, she couldn’t perceive the full view of the light band encircling the entire planet. However, because of her inherent trait of sharing magic power with the whole world, she could quickly ascertain how terrifying that thing was.

Magic power...

An incomparably enormous magic power.

How could one possibly gather such a degree of heat unless the entire world was being drained dry?

"The existence claiming to be the Magic King sent the Holy Grail to this era’s land, twisting this segnt of history. The world we currently reside in has been detached from the normal tiline, existing as what you call an anomaly..." Gu Mo spoke leisurely.

He then scrutinized the girl before him, showing a aningful smile: "But it’s not hopeless. If my guess is correct, young lady, you are from that distant future Chaldea, right? Just like the astrologers of Uruk foretold, the last magicians guarding humanity..."

"..."

"..."

Akai Hinako was montarily stunned but quickly reacted: "That’s right, I am a magician from Chaldea..."

She let out a small sigh of relief in her heart, seeming as though sothing had changed unbeknownst to her in the situation. However, since the person before her had such knowledge, naturally, she would admit and go along with it. Especially since it wasn’t wrong; she was indeed from Chaldea.

Indeed.

Only Akai Hinako thought this way...

The Demon Hunter Girl beside her quietly moved a few steps away, instinctively distancing herself from soone. She suddenly began to seriously consider whether she should quickly grab her things and make a run for it...

......

Half an hour later.

Cleaning the bloodstains from her body, Akai Hinako completely regained the style of a literary girl, paired with a white coat and black dress, her long twin-tails hanging from each side. She took a gentle breath but didn’t imdiately leave the small wooden house where she was alone, instead falling into deep thought.

The man’s words seed reasonable, and the details of this anomaly were clearly stated afterwards, unlike a deception.

After all, many things could be easily verified, and if it was simply to deceive her, there was no need to fabricate such a huge lie. So the facts should be as he said they were.

Akai Hinako felt sowhat conflicted; her mory was still stuck before her awakening, only recalling that the Spiritual Particle Transfer was ant to head to that Anomaly F to investigate the situation surrounding its appearance and uncover the truth of the vanished future... The result now was that she knew everything directly.

Though in a sense, this was a good thing, but... facing such a dire and chaotic situation without any ntal preparation isn’t sothing anyone could naturally accept.

Her thoughts were sowhat scattered in her mind, the literary girl shook her head, striving not to let her mind wander. The most crucial thing now was to address this anomaly problem, interacting as a person from Chaldea seed like a good choice, sparing her many troubles...

—In any case, she hadn’t lied...

—She was indeed a person from Chaldea.

Thinking so, she secretly made up her mind, then took a deep breath, walked to the door, pushed it open, and stepped outside. The small valley was as usual; the sun was shining bright, with a hint of warmth that could burn. A babbling stream ran through the herb garden, and the three people in the pavilion sat across from each other, seemingly talking about sothing.

But only the Daoist in the cyan Daoist robe was speaking, while the white-haired girl was offering her opinions. The witch seed very quiet, always listening attentively.

"Miss Akai Hinako, are you okay..."

Seeing Akai Hinako push the door open and co out, Gu Mo imdiately raised his hand to greet her, carefully examining her current appearance as a literary girl.

Pretty good, really very nice, even though he knew her true nature was quite irritable and careless, but now, for the sake of disguise, she had maintained this quiet literary girl persona, which had a peculiar atmosphere, and comparatively, was easier to get along with.

That’s why he deliberately misled Akai Hinako—

Causing her to unconsciously fall into the rhythm he guided, now also striving to play her persona role.

"I-I’m fine now..."

The literary girl instinctively clenched her fingers, trying to keep her tone calm as she spoke.

She found herself unsuited for such matters; communicating and interacting cordially with strangers wasn’t her forte. Past habits of hiding and avoiding exposure made her uncomfortable, and even upon arriving at Chaldea, she had hardly interacted with others.

She didn’t want to be involved with anyone; perhaps the Chaldean staff viewed her as "a literary girl who finds happiness in hiding and reading in a corner day after day," but actually, she used it as a ans to fend off disturbances and observe humans through books.

"Really not needing more rest?" Gu Mo asked with feigned concern, "You were covered in blood earlier; it must not have been easy getting here, right?"

"No, no problem... I don’t have any wounds, and that wasn’t my blood." Akai Hinako’s heart skipped a beat but quickly steadied, explaining coolly.

The witch beside watched calmly.

Hiri used the act of raising her cup for tea to hide her expression.

The interaction between the two was truly subtle; one was cunning beyond asure, the other naive, believing her disguise was clever, unaware she was entirely following the other’s lead...

"That’s good, but if you feel uncomfortable, I hope you won’t push yourself..." Gu Mo nodded, then surveyed the valley’s environnt, "What do you think of this place? This is Mount Abif, once a Spiritual Peak revered by even the King of the Gods in sopotamian mythology, but cruelly slain by that capricious Goddess..."

"Even so, though the destroyed Spiritual Peak no longer holds its original grandeur, a starved cal is still bigger than a horse. The Spirit Vein here is quite decent, at least enough to et the requirents of the Summoning Array."

Upon hearing his introduction, Akai Hinako surveyed the valley’s landscape and lightly nodded.

"From the looks of it, it ets the requirents... but whether it works, I have to check the situation first, let’s set up the Summoning Array now."

When discussing this matter, she seed sowhat anxious.

"Tell what materials you need, and I can get them..." Gu Mo blinked, then reminded, "But I must clarify, the summoning might not work, as the link between the Boundary Recording Belt and the anomaly seems unstable and suppressed..."

If summoning Servants continued to be possible, those nurous heroes and saints from the Heroic Spirit Throne would have probably trampled everything with overwhelming numbers by now.

It’s not that those in the anomaly didn’t want to summon more Heroic Spirits for help—certainly not. The only explanation is that the cost points weren’t sufficient; the Servants they could deploy had limits, and once the limit was reached, no more help could be summoned...

"I understand... but I must try." Akai Hinako replied absently, understanding the logic but unwilling to forgo the possibility.

"Naturally..."

Gu Mo laughed heartily, emphasizing he was rely reminding, not opposing her Summoning of Heroic Spirits.

In any case, he had his own role; he was also quite curious about the Technique of the Summoning of Heroic Spirits.
