"Of course, I'm not being modest. Actually, I'm quite well-inford about the situation with the Three Goddess Alliance." Gu Mo smiled calmly.
"Hmph, that's indeed not modesty..." Miss Goddess pouted, unaware of how adorable her little gesture was, but she also felt a bit smug inside. She had indeed fooled everyone; everyone thought Ishtar joined the Three Goddess Alliance, not knowing of her existence.
Gu Mo wasn't sure what this Miss Goddess was thinking about; he was just marveling at how complex the composition of the gods in this world was.
What exactly are the gods of this world? Or rather, what exactly is there?
This question is really difficult to explain because there are different categories of answers. However, there are three general categories. First are the "natural gods originally present on planets" that are worshipped, such as celestial bodies like the sun and moon, and natural phenona like storms and earthquakes.
Besides that, there are the "beings who beco gods through faith and rit" and those "beings from other planets that beco gods."
The South Arican Gods belong to the third category. They are entities from other planets that descended onto Earth in South Arica, eventually evolving into the prototypes of Aztec mythology... Precisely because they are offspring of other celestial bodies, they differ sowhat from the natives.
But then again, if beings from other planets can beco gods, how does that account for my own situation?
With a bizarre thought in his mind, Gu Mo couldn't help but smile, then he looked at the sowhat smug Miss Goddess: "So, let's talk about the last pillar of the Three Goddess Alliance. What do you think about your own situation, Lady Goddess?"
"? Of course, of course... Uh, I'll talk about myself later. You should first deal with the Demon Beast Goddess and the Forest Goddess."
The blond maiden was about to explain her thoughts further, but suddenly thought of sothing else. She raised her head rather proudly: "If you can't even handle those two, then knowing what I think is aningless! You won't even get in front of ! I won't go easy on you!"
Pretending to be soone else really is tough for her...
Gu Mo sighed but seed surprised, staring suspiciously at the opposite Miss Goddess: "Won't go easy on us? What do you an?"
"Of course!" The blond maiden snorted proudly. "It's as literal as it gets; there's no need to explain, right?"
"But didn't we agree before that you would help us... do you an you're going to back out?"
Gu Mo feigned confusion and looked at her.
"Ah? Ah... this, this..."
The blond maiden was initially stunned, and when she realized it, she looked a bit flustered. How did she forget about this!?
Wait, no, that was sothing Ishtar agreed to. She never joined the alliance or intended to participate, and with the temptation of the gemstone, she agreed very quickly. But it's different for , I clearly... clearly...
Okay, it doesn't make any sense. Since she's impersonating Ishtar, speaking under this identity, she should naturally understand this point.
"Oh, so that's how it is. Now I understand..."
The person across seed to understand sothing. They sighed softly, nodded plainly, and said, "But it's no wonder. After all, it's rare for such a law-abiding Lady Goddess to have the right to act according to her wishes just once..."
"I... I'm not willful at all! I'm just, I'm just..."
Lady Goddess seed genuinely angry. She waved her little fists forcefully, really resisting this interpretation, even though she knew the other party was actually addressing these words to Ishtar. The insinuations were clear, secretly mocking phrases like "always law-abiding" and "finally a chance to be willful."
This was obviously mocking Ishtar! After all, that person was never law-abiding and always acted on whim. Whatever she wanted, she would get!
So this must be a jab at Ishtar!
But even so, even knowing what's going on and that the other person was rely talking as if she were Ishtar, she still couldn't accept it. After all, she was never willful, right? Those duties, that guardianship, hadn't changed since being entrusted with the Netherworld!
She had endured thousands, tens of thousands of years!
But this couldn't be said out loud because she's now playing the role of Ishtar.
So the blond maiden hesitated for ages, yet didn't know what to say, feeling almost teary-eyed for finding herself in trouble despite having successfully impersonated soone else.
"I get it, I get it..."
Gu Mo wore a knowing expression, waving his hand to indicate she needn't say more.
"What do you understand!" The blond maiden was imdiately a bit annoyed. She now assud that's how it was; in the other's eyes, she was definitely considered a whimsical goddess. She absolutely couldn't accept such a label, even if it was an obvious misunderstanding.
