"Ah, Little Li, are you going back?"
The White Flood Dragon, caught off guard, suddenly awakened from its trance and looked at Little Li with reluctance.
"Yes, I’ve been out for a long ti and need to go back to continue my cultivation. Ah Qing’s strength is increasing day by day. If I don’t put in more effort, I’ll fall even further behind," Little Li said seriously.
Upon hearing this, even though the White Flood Dragon didn’t want to part, it could only say, "Then hurry back, Little Li. Cultivation is what matters most."
"Well, I’m off then. It’s a pity, Xiao Bai, that you don’t know the Transformation Technique. Otherwise, if you could shrink your body, you could co into the cave with and cultivate."
Little Li waved its claw, then soared into the air and swiftly entered the cave, closing the Stone Gate behind.
The White Flood Dragon was left alone, staring blankly at the cave in a daze.
After a while, recalling what Little Li had just said, it murmured, "Transformation Technique, huh..."
Then its body slowly subrged, disappearing into the depths of the pool, returning to its underwater cavern for cultivation.
"Big Sis Li, what were you talking about with Xiao Bai just now? You chatted for so long."
On the other side, Little Li had just returned to the cave when the Five Elents approached with a fawning expression, smiling and asking.
"What we talked about is none of your business. Get away from !" Little Li glared at it irritably.
"I’ve already told you, you slly snake, Xiao Bai doesn’t like you. If you keep pestering, I’ll tell Ah Qing, and he’ll seal you in the Qiankun Qi Bag for decades!"
"Please, no, Big Sis! I don’t want to stay in the Qiankun Qi Bag again!"
Hearing this, the Five Elents imdiately panicked, desperately groveling on the ground, begging Little Li for rcy.
Ever since arriving in the Heavenly Origin Great World, it spent most of its ti in the Qiankun Qi Bag and was utterly fed up with it.
It also realized that the longer it stayed in the Qiankun Qi Bag, the more it fell behind Little Li.
If it were trapped for decades more, it feared that by the ti it erged, Little Li might have already reached Golden Core Nine Transitions Perfection.
So this ti, it adamantly refused to spend that long in the Qiankun Qi Bag again.
"If you don’t want to be sealed again, then stop pestering Xiao Bai. It’s my good friend now, and if I find out you bullied it, I won’t forgive you!"
Little Li tightened its claw, waving it at Five Elents.
The Five Elents shivered, reluctantly replying, "Yes, I understand, Big Sis. I won’t dare bother Xiao Bai again."
Although it really liked Xiao Bai, feeling a unique attraction to it,
it knew that compared to Little Li’s threat, the latter was more intimidating.
After careful consideration, Five Elents resigned itself to its fate.
"Good, as long as you understand. I need to cultivate. Don’t bother . Go and cultivate quickly!
It’s been so long, I’m about to start mastering the True Dragon Nine Transformations Third Transition, and you’ve just fully grasped the First Transition.
Your cultivation speed is too slow, it’s utterly disgraceful. I shouldn’t have passed it on to you!"
Little Li reprimanded rcilessly.
As for the Five Elents, it only lowered its head, not daring to retort.
It also realized that as ti went on in cultivation, Little Li’s cultivation speed increasingly surpassed its own.
Back in their hotown world, they had faced the Golden Core Tribulation together, achieving the Golden Core Realm on the sa day.
But after entering the Heavenly Origin Great World, it found itself unable to keep up with Little Li.
Now, Little Li’s cultivation had broken through to Golden Core Five Transitions, while it had just reached Golden Core Third Transition Perfection.
Even though they cultivated the True Dragon Nine Transformations together, it mastered it much slower than Little Li.
The Five Elents couldn’t help but recall the year they faced the Golden Core Tribulation, it only endured seven of the tribulation thunders, while Little Li endured the mightiest nine.
If only it had fought more fiercely back then and endured one or two more tribulation thunders, perhaps the gap between it and Little Li would have been smaller.
Unfortunately, there was no "if" in such matters.
In its condition back then, another tribulation thunder likely would’ve obliterated its soul.
Seeing the Five Elents remain silent, Little Li paid it no mind, heading to its spot to start cultivating.
The words it spoke to Xiao Bai were not lies.
It truly missed Little Yan and wanted to return to see her soon.
However, before returning, it wanted to beco even stronger, so it could astonish Little Yan.
Imagining Little Yan’s amazed expression upon seeing its proficiency upon return fueled Little Li’s motivation to cultivate even more.
Unbeknownst to Little Li, imrsed in cultivation, elsewhere, far on the edge of the starry domain, in their hotown world,
the Little Yan it yearned for was engaged in a fierce battle.
Boom!
In the sky above a certain deep mountain, a trendous sound erupted, countless strong energies burst forth, black demonic qi and Sword Qi flew in all directions, rending the mountains and forests below into utter chaos.
"Hahaha, Fairy Lu, though your Sword Dao is superb, your cultivation is still shallow, for now, you can’t do anything to !"
In the sky above, a tall figure coiled in black energy laughed heartily.
"I didn’t expect you, an ancient evil demon from the Cultivation Era, to survive the era of Spiritual Energy depletion for thousands of years, live until now, and even seize the body of a True Disciple from the Guiyuan Sect. If not for this slip-up, we wouldn’t have detected your presence at all."
Opposite stood Little Yan, clad in a cyan robe, wielding a long sword, like a Female Sword Immortal descended from the heavens, her face icy as she spoke.
"Haha, no matter how well-hidden, wasn’t I still discovered by you, Fairy Lu? Worthy of being the sister of the world’s number one, your talent is so extraordinary it transcends realms, unmatched even in my era.
It’s a pity your cultivation ti is too short; a few more decades, and even I wouldn’t withstand your sword edge."
The black energy figure opposite admired.
"I don’t need decades; I’ll cut you down now!"
Little Yan’s eyebrows arched, her treasure sword transford into a myriad of Sword Qi, slicing towards the black energy figure.
Yet, facing Little Yan’s fierce attack, the black energy figure remained unperturbed, casually waving, as layers of Demonic Qi spread from him, forming a cloud of Demonic Qi several dozens of ters wide, enveloping him entirely.
The Demonic Qi cloud was extrely resilient, and Little Yan’s Sword Qi slicing on it was like a clay ox entering the sea.
Despite the swirling Demonic Qi, until the Sword Qi was exhausted, it hadn’t broken through.
"Fairy Lu, it’s useless. No matter how many tis you try, with your current cultivation, you can’t break through my Ten Thousand Demon Smoke," the Demonic Qi figure said calmly.
Little Yan remained expressionless.
But she knew what he said was true.
While she hadn’t yet used her full strength and had aces up her sleeve, it was clear that this ancient demon, living for who knows how long, had even more aces up his sleeve.
Continuing the struggle, she’d still be unable to deal with this demon.
More importantly, she felt two powerful evil presences approaching from afar.
If these evil demons converged, she’d likely be trapped here.
With that thought, Little Yan ceased her hesitations, taking a deep look at the demon shrouded in black qi, whose true form was obscured, then transford into a Sword Light, retreating swiftly.
The black energy figure did not attempt to stop her, watching as Little Yan’s Sword Light vanished into the horizon.
Just as Little Yan’s figure faded, two figures, also emanating Demonic Qi, approached this section of the sky from afar.
"Master, where’s Lu Xiaoyan?"
One of the figures scanned around, noticing no sign of the reputed Female Sword Immortal, promptly asked.
"She’s gone," the Demonic Qi figure said indifferently.
As he spoke, the Demonic Qi cleared from his face, revealing an extraordinarily handso but slightly malicious visage.
