"Naming it?"
Lu Qing wiped his hands.
"Yeah, the little beast and us are friends now, and all my friends have nas, like Big Girl, Little Houtou; they all have their own nas!" Little Yan counted on her fingers, earnestly adding, "So the little beast should have its own na too."
"Is calling it 'little beast' not good?"
"'Little beast' doesn't sound nice, and there are lots of animals called little beasts. We need to co up with sothing special," the little one shook her head.
Lu Qing really wanted to say that even nas like Big Girl, Little Houtou were pretty commonplace outside.
He thought for a mont, seeing the black little beast peering curiously into the kitchen from outside.
He asked, "Little thing, what about you? Do you want a na too?"
The black little beast's eyes showed a mont of contemplation, then it nodded.
"Brother, look, the little beast wants to have its own na too," Little Yan said happily.
"Since that's the case, then let's pick one."
Seeing that the black little beast also felt that way, Lu Qing didn't refuse any longer.
Only, what would be a good na?
Lu Qing considered for a while then had a sudden inspiration.
"How about 'Little Li'? Does that sound good?"
"Little Li?" Little Yan tilted her head.

Clearly, neither of the little ones understood the aning of the na.

"You like the na?" Lu Qing noticed its reaction and understood, "Then from now on you'll be called Little Li. As for a surna, you can take one if you want, or leave it if you don't. If you'd like to take a surna, you can have ours and be called Lu Li or Lu Xiaoli."
"That's great, little beast, you have a na now!" Little Yan bead, "You're called Little Li, and I'm called Little Yan. Our nas sound pretty similar, don't they?"
Emotion glistened in the black little beast's eyes, bright and sparkling.
With a na now, the black little beast's stay at the Lu Family's ho felt even more fitting.
It and Little Yan began chasing each other around the house, playing together.

Lu Qing recalled the conversation he had overheard from the Wei Family's guards last night.
They had said that their Young Master had fallen into a ravine while chasing a peculiar black little beast in the mountains.
At that ti, he had suspected whether the little beast was Little Li, and now was a good ti to ask.
Little Li cocked its head, then nodded.
"The one trying to capture you, were there six or seven people in total, with one about my age?"
Little Li nodded again.
Lu Qing broke into a sweat. It really was that fellow.
His expression imdiately turned serious, "Little Li, stay inside the house for the ti being, don't go out. If other people co by, find a place to hide and don't let them see you, got it?"
Little Li nodded.
It wasn't keen on eting other people anyway.
Lu Qing turned his head again and reminded his sister, "And Little Yan, once we're outside, you must not ntion anything about Little Li staying at our house, even to your friends. Otherwise, Little Li could very likely be taken away by others. Then, you would never be able to see Little Li again. Do you understand?"
"I understand! Little Yan won't tell anyone about Little Li!" replied Little Yan.
The mont the little one heard she might never see Little Li again, she imdiately tightened her little face and answered earnestly.
She had finally beco friends with Little Li and did not want to lose it.
Seeing Little Yan complying, Lu Qing finally relaxed a bit.
He was always fairly confident about the little one's ability to keep a secret.

His life returned to its previous rhythm.
Every morning he would go to Half Mountain Small Courtyard to greet his master and study dical skill for the morning, after which he could spend his ti as he pleased.
